My son and I have been using this studio for years, and it's a great place to see the difference between whatever you get at Fantastic Sam's versus what an actual hair studio can be when it comes to getting a hair and beard trim, especially as a male. I didn't realize the difference before, but now I do, and I'd never have it any other way. Also, hot towels. I love hot towels. They have hot towels--and yes, a lot of places have them--but the way Modern Man uses them makes the experience that much better. And unlike some other male-oriented salons, they don't do the awkward neck massage with a little vibrating massager that's supposed to make a difference. It doesn't. The only difference it makes is increasing the chance I'll never return to that place. Modern Man has the formula down. More people definitely need to check this place out, they're awesome! I've visited all three of their locations on different occasions throughout the past couple of weeks, so I plan to leave a review on each of their yelp pages. I'm glad they have three different locations, it makes it so convenient when I'm at a different part of town. All their barbers are friendly and I've never had a bad experience! The first time I came in with my son and husband, initially planning on just my son getting a haircut. We were greeted when we came in, and we were helped by a very friendly man who was very patient with my son. As a mom, that made me feel so at ease...especially at a barbershop because kids can be so impatient and my son usually cries. This time, though... there was no crying!! The barber has such a way with kids and my son was giggling! After he was done with his haircut and we saw the finished result, my husband wanted one too! Now, we are regulars at the three barber shops and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new barber. These nice people will definitely take care of you! read more

I have visited each of their three shop locations, and I am a big fan. And I have to say, I believe they deserve more acknowledgements. A couple months ago I came in here by chance after hopping around shops on a Friday and ending up disappointed by the other places I went to. After deciding to stick around, this has become the only shop (beside their other locations) I'll go to. I've had my hair cut by various different barbers at their shops, and they all know what they're doing. Each time I've come in, they've been polite, and given great cuts. I'm pretty particular about my hair, and I've never come out of here disappointed. Most recently, I was in here yesterday: another customer was in with his younger children, and the guys turned both TV's in the shop on to Cartoon Network to keep the kids entertained- a really extra, nice thing of them to do, and just one of the reasons I keep coming back. I've even seen that they offer kids lollipops or provide a kids corner to keep the kids entertained, which is very thoughtful of them. I'm a loyal customer for life! read more

My good friend recommended me LG'S. Best haircut and shave I've ever had. I came in wanted a change of appearance. Lee was able to make recommendations based on what he thought would be a good look for me. The old fashion shave I got was a God-send! It made me feel more relaxed than I have in years. My husband went here for the first time today. We drive by there every day when I go to work, but we never have stopped. But now, when he needs a cut, we have a new favorite place!
