Li Yangs has the best online ordering platform from their direct website. No mark ups and a $3 delivery fee. Everything is always packed with care. They include all the utensils, napkins, sauces and cookies. This team is very consistent. On their site they give you the option to add extra shrimp or meat for an extra charge. Very fair. They also sell their sauces on the side so you can customize your heat or add brown sauce to anything. I took pictures today, everyone like to see what they may be ordering. All the items were fresh and very hot! My favorites are Shrimp with lobster sauce, House Special Egg Foo Young (awesome gravy!), Shrimp Pad Thai, Triple delight, Fried Dumplings, Egg Rolls and I always get hot chili oil and a side of General Tsoas sauce. Worst Chinese food i think I have ever had spent 112 dallors not worth it at all . The good ole days of this restaurant is in the past. It's run down nature along with its abandoned building feel will turn most people away. It's not the most welcome place and the environment is almost inhabitable. It was freezing cold inside the day I ordered and was shivering the time I left, still wearing my Columbia winter coat. So I do not recommend this place to dine in. Now the food. I ordered roast pork fried rice and Mongolian beef. The fried rice was light and airy but had a porkiness flavor to it. I cannot explain the flavor but you can definitely tell that it is pork, which sometimes is not a good thing. No roasted flavor to the pork and not seasoned very well. And overall there is no wok flavored smokiness present. It's rather bland. The Mongolian beef was the same way. Not sweet, nor smoky, not anything. Just some fried beef with veggies and a brown sauce. Something if you never had Mongolian beef before you might pass as good. But this, IMO, is not up to par. I would imagine the rest of the menu the same way. Overall this place has an identity crisis along with questionable conditions. It's one of those types of places where I wouldn't be surprised if the Feds came in and busted the owner for human trafficking. I used to love Li Yang's several years ago. They had the best sweet and sour chicken. Today I ordered lunch. I ordered from the lunch menu: entree, side, soda. The soda never came. I got chow mein.. which was pork, onions, and strips of carrots. Not impressed. The crab Rangoon was way too sweet. Li Yang's really went downhill and was a total disappointment. read more

Loved the food the first time I had it but my second experience was horrible. Found 2 small bones in my orange chicken about 5 bites into eating and decided to throw the whole thing out after. The flavor and texture of the chicken seemed off as well. My friend had no issues with her lo mein however. read more

Couldn't ask for a more college friendly place. Quick delivery and food is always hot as a pistol. The chicken is superb, I have never been disappointed. The rice is alright, the only thing better is Minute Rice. All egg rolls are disgusting so I could care less about them. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! We ordered from the lunch menu and got the chicken and broccoli and the garlic chicken. Both came with fried rice and soup. The "fried" rice was a joke! Tasted like it was made from a box and it was old. Both of the dishes were severely lacking flavor. We both ordered the hot and sour soup and it was a lifeless version of beef broth, no meat, no Chinese mushrooms, nothing but bamboo shoots, tofu and egg. We also got the steamed dumplings which was nothing more than a doughy mess. It had a tiny bit of mystery meat that was completely repulsive. It was like a poor man's version of dim sum. So far so great. Prior to this past week, the last time I went to Li Yang's was about a decade ago, and at that time, I thought the food was mediocre. Since it was on my way home, I stopped by for some take out this past week. It was excellent. Tonight I went again, and was not disappointed. I've stopped for take-out now 4 nights in a row, and apparently I've now become a regular. I've only tried four things on the menu so far, but feel confident that, many things on the menu, will live up to my expectations. Li Yang's, for me, has become the best Chinese restaurant in the area. I am disabled, and for the last three nights, have asked them to bring my order to my car in their lot. Not only are they happy to do it, but would not even accept the tip I offered, actually insisted on giving me change. That's classy. I'll be back again and again. A few years back I wasn't a huge fan of this place. I decided to give them a second chance about 6 months ago and they really good now. Really well seasoned dishes. The duck is crispy and mongolian beef, chow mei fun, and cashew chicken also great. The hot and sour soup is good, although not quite sour enough for my tastes, i just add a dash of seasoned rice vinegar to it and it fixes it right up. If you didn't like this place in the past, give them another try. Great prices and really tasty now. read more
