Are you in south west location ?we don't have a piano , so we would like to go to your place for lessons. My daughter is 6 year old , and she has never lean piano before. She would love to start learning.

Hi! Yes I’m located in the southwest region. I have a portable keyboard that we can use to start lessons. I would be happy to talk more!

Hello, do you charge per session or per month? If so, how much?

Hi, I charge $40 for 30 minutes of lessons, $50 for 45 minutes of lessons, and $60 for 1 hour of lessons. My lessons include free books and recitals. We have three recitals per year.

Do you also teach adults who would like to relearn playing the piano?

Yes, I do! I accept students of all ages

FIRST!! :D So what makes this place different than the big shots like Sam Ash and Guitar Center?…read more For starters, City of Las Vegas Music probably has the biggest collection of electronic keyboards I've seen so far in Las Vegas. I'm not a keyboard player but as soon as you walk inside you'll see they have a wide selection of big name keyboards such as Kawai, Roland & much more. I've heard of these brands before but most of the time they're only accessible online or outside of Vegas. I'd say most of the selections are for seasoned players although they do have some selections that are great for beginners and experienced players alike. Aside from keyboards, they have a few selections of saxophones, violins and electronic drum sets. You won't find guitars (not yet anyway) here so they certainly feel more of a niche musical store but a good one at that. If you play any of the above instruments I mentioned you can probably get a good deal because they are an authorized dealer, meaning they have some flexibility in regards to retailing and pricing. The owner and manager Victor are friendly and cool people :) They were kind enough to let me take some photos of the interior. It's still fairly new but more inventory is on the way. If you're a musician I recommend you visit or bookmark this place for a future visit. Definitely always a plus to see a local music shop open to compete against the big corporate stores.

Susie from Las Vegas music helped me during my call and was very detailed, professional. Covered all the warranty, shipping insurance and very very helpful. It's a plus that they are closer to California so I highly recommend buying from Susie.

My son has been coming here for over a year taking Karate with Sensei Rey. He loves it. My son…read moreprefers Sensei Rey (not that there's anything wrong with the other Senseis, you know how kids are when they are attached to a specific person) so he was bummed when his schedule changed and instead of having class twice a week he only has it once a week now. My son has competed in one tournament and is prepping to compete in another. Now, only if he can get a belt test done that would be awesome. Other than that Sensei Rey really takes the time to make sure his students (of all ages too) get their techniques correct & it shows in the tournaments. My son brought home a gold medal for Kata & a silver medal for Kumite. Oh! One more thing, the space can get tight when everyone is in class. Maybe expanding or separating the sitting area? There's a room with a glass windowed room right behind where the parents sit, maybe... it could just be a sitting room for the parents during this time frame? I'm really not sure what is in that room though. Also, that way the kids that run around during class can be contained in a separate room so as not to bother the karate class in session but can still see the karate class through the window? Just a suggestion. Gina the owner is very accommodating & was kind enough to understand our situation in December so we were able to alter our contract a bit before signing. We are excited to continue another year with Landero Learning Center.

John has a pleasant personality and his home is inviting. He is very welcoming and shows a genuine interest in his students. He is patient as he gently reminds his students of the best way to practice throughout the week. He has high standards, but he does not show frustration at all. He thinks of numerous ways to teach concepts until he finds which method clicks with the student. John has developed a "practice pyramid" to keep students on track during the week. It is extremely helpful and thorough. This structure is what leads to the success of his students. If you are looking for a piano instructor who will help develop the skills necessary to improve, John is the best choice!!

He is a professional and is very patient and kind as well. My son learned excellent form and gained a solid foundation. In the end we decided to forgo lessons because my son had another interest that became very time consuming. But if he decided to take again I would have no hesitation contacting John. And he does recitals 2 times per year which is really fun for the kids and their families. His prices are extremely reasonable. He also teaches adults.
