Now, in a small valley owning a small business you can't turn away someone that was only asking to spend money at you shop. Very unprofessional and unfortunate. I'm sure some people have had great experience with the owner, but it's just not the experience I am used to with purchasing comic books. I was a regular with a simple file box and a checklist for decades in NY and this was like pulling teeth. Hope he finds a way to be a better businessman, and not argue with customers. Or just sell his shop to someone that wants to be in operation seems like he hates what he does.

This was a fun find in Nederland…read more I've been a vinyl junkie for years and have slipped off the beaten path over the last few years. This was the necessary kick in the pants I needed. My wife and I were enjoying a nice walk around town and as soon as I saw a record store (in this tiny town, no less) I knew I had hit the jackpot. It's a small shop, though it packs a punch. They were undergoing some maneuvering and restocking on this particular day, so they have an even larger more robust collection than what I happened to see. I always let the record store guide me to ear porn enlightenment. I enjoy many genres of music, but when I visit a shop I read the room and let the music do the talking. Which led me to the reissued release of High On Fire's "Art of Self Defense' a cult classic in the stoner metal realm. Picked it up and bought it on the spot. The employee was super kind and down to earth. I spent a good chunk of time sifting through records, but knew my wife would kill me if I spent too much time in there. Now I get to add a wonderful record store to my Nederland excursions. Consider me a happy camper!
