I'm 30, and while most of the crowd was 40 plus, there were people my age too. You could tell a lot of the people there were regulars. Everyone was kind. The music was a nice mix, not too old school and not too modern. A decent volume. The owner said they sometimes have live music as well. This place has multiple TVs for sports, karaoke, plenty of seating, and really good ventilation. I don't smoke, and the cigar smell didn't bother me at all. The back den area was calm, private, and had a TV. They also have VIP lockers and updated cameras, which made the place feel safe. The food and drinks were good and came out in a decent time. The owner, Desmond, took over this place four years ago and was very welcoming. We even played a game of chess and he beat me. The whole place felt friendly, almost like visiting family. I would definitely come back!

Have been coming here for years and this is the first time that a mandatory tip( charged as a service fee) was added. When asked what the fee was the server said that the manager told them that he should charge the gratuity since were a party of 7. There was six of us. When the manager came she said it was a party of 6 that they charge. When asked why their menus weren't noted that they charge mandatory gratuity. They said that they are printing new ones, that it is a policy that they just started 6 months ago. As far as I am aware in order for them to charge mandatory gratuity they have to have it posted in the menu. My point is if you change your policy at least have the menus updated before you have the policy in effect. Ended up paying the service fee of over $35 for all of us. Will be going to a place where tips are earned and not mandatory imposed as a service fee. The service was not outstanding, definitely had better service else where and didn't mind leaving a well deserved tip, way over the 18%.
