I sent photos of the piece and photos of how it needed to be moved to get to the correct room. 2 young men showed up completely unprepared. Not only did they move the piece to a terrible place in my home, they moved other furniture and blocked rooms I now don't have access too. They took a brand new tv and places it face down on a new couch and left it. They removed things from my porch and put it in the lawn in the rain. Owner was supposed to arrive at 3:30 to remedy. It's 8:30 at night with no call, and my situation WORSE than when they arrived. My first bad experience here in TN. So disappointed and incredibly frustrated. If you don't want the small jobs, please do not accept them.

Thumbtack said $120 per hour which was the only reason I booked this company. I also submitted photos of all FIVE pieces that needed moving along with a description of what everything was and that it was coming from the top floor of a townhouse, which the app stated I would receive an updated estimate of it were to be different than the $120 as advertised. Days go by, my estimate never changed but when they showed up, he said $350..... so less than 2 hours of work somehow became $350 worth but was advertised as $120 per hour. I was very thorough with my description of the job so I should have been notified in advance that the rate online would be nowhere near what he was planning to charge. This was the first issue. The second issue being that he scratched the hell out of one of my dressers! Didn't say anything, just scratched it up, left and I saw it after I already wasted my money. The third issue is he asked MY permission to take a picture with ME and post it. I gave permission, however, he proceeded to post a whole video showing many things in my dad's house, stuff that had absolutely nothing to do with the move that they never laid a hand on and worst of all, a drive by of the house. My dad is livid this man shared things that had absolutely nothing to do with the move (FALSE ADVERTISING) and HE did not give permission to post his house on instagram and/or belongings in it. The owner presented it as he was interested in a few pieces my dad had build and just wanted a picture of them. Never stated he would be posting his stuff on instagram. My dad does not do instagram, he doesn't do advertising the wrong rate and he definitely doesn't appreciate the unprofessional, nasty response this man left on my other review (which I left a picture of his response attached to this review) Finally, my dad asked them to move something from his basement to garage. I asked him not to and he asked movers anyway. Should have said no if you did not want to move it. No need to be nasty in your reply to my review, lying saying you moved it to a different residence when you didn't. You don't seem to be a very truthful person based on my experience with you and rather than an appropriate response to the review, you proceeded to show who you are, as well as the private message you sent me. Moral of the story is I would not recommend this unprofessional business to anyone because he changed the rate yet had pictures and description of the entire job and should have updated the estimate or declined, scratched up my furniture, posted things he didn't have permission for and then showed his nasty attitude when I simply shared my bad experience with him and his company. Please learn from this experience and try to be more professional with your future jobs and don't private message a dissatisfied customer a gross message that they could very well share with their review as well.

I just want to say a huge thank you to John, Q and Power Movers. I bought a commercial freezer…read moreonline and when it was delivered, the driver would not bring it into the house. Curbside delivery only. My fault for not asking about delivery. Lesson learned for me. I called several movers to see if I could get it moved into my basement and most would not do the job. One company came out and took one look at the freezer and said they couldn't do it because it was too big. Mind you I spent 20-30 minutes on the phone with the office explaining how big and heavy it was and was told they could do it, only to be told once they got here, they weren't doing it. But the guys from Power Movers figured out how to get it in and set it up. They were nice, positive and had the can-do spirit. I am very grateful for them and will recommend to anyone I know who needs movers.

I spoke with Wesly before the movers left regarding the issues and he assured me that he would refund the whole entire move and take care of all the damaged items if we could send photos. Unless you want your property damaged and to have to deal painting your new home or business and dealing with a liar called Wesley who does not follow through with his word then stay far away from these crooks. Not to mention my wife and I ended up moving more items than the movers did. My new room looks wonderful now and I enjoy spending time in it. Next, I called them to remove junk that other workman had left in my side yard. It had been there long enough that vegetation had grown over it. I was concerned that someone or an animal could hurt itself by stumbling into the mess that wasn't visible. Two Clever Fellas came and dislodged the mess from the vines and leaves that was covering it and hauled the stuff away. It looks so much better now! I plan to use these guys to do more work for me in the new year. I highly recommend them!
