When we called them, the earliest prioritized appointment they could offer us was two weeks away, despite having no working AC in 100 degree weather. That experience prompted us to call Service Wizard instead, and I am very glad we did. Jeremiah was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain what he was checking and what he found, without trying to sell us repairs or services we did not need. He also discovered that during a previous service visit, Radiant had installed the condensation shutoff on the secondary drain line rather than the primary line, where it should have been installed. I really appreciated Jeremiah catching and explaining that issue. Between the emergency availability, Jeremiah's knowledge and professionalism, and the overall experience, I was impressed enough to sign up for Service Wizard's membership before he left. This summer it broke yet again and we bit the expensive bullet and started quote shopping. Right off the bat, Alex, was very responsive and communicative in getting us quotes in numbers and cut straight to the chase with numbers games for us. This is an expensive purchase and Alex was very willing to work on getting us the best price in any quote we could procure or others we talked to in the Austin area. Our AC unit went out Sat/Sunday, we talked Sunday night to Alex, and Monday evening after talking with 3-4 more companies, pulled the trigger on our new Carrier 3.5 T unit to swap out our current Trane 3.5 T unit. Alex's crew, his brothers, showed up bright and early Tuesday morning, and got to work! Pulled out the old HVAC system for interior and exterior, which was not an easy job in how our home was built and whoever lived here before decided to put all the big ticket items in the garage but the guys did a great job getting creative! I also spoke to Nimo, who was an absolute pleasure from a business standpoint, in ensuring we could understand everything we paid for today, helped turn the system back on, confirmed everything was properly installed and cleaned up and left even better than when we came in! I absolutely love that we went with Cool Time HVAC. Their customer service is unparalleled in helping us navigate something the typical homeowner considers a headache, and painful financial purchase, but they made it such a no nonsense ordeal.
