If you're thinking of going here - DON'T! The following is MY experience with this Dental Group. I went to this place because a filling fell out of one of my back molars in August of 2019. After they X-rayed my mouth Dr. Singh glanced at the image of the tooth for like 2 seconds and immediately announced "That's a root canal." His daughter who was sitting with me shot back "Dad, it might not be. Let's take a look first." But, he was insistent that it was a root canal. Seeing that the daughter was more agreeable to taking it slow I made an appointment to have her do the filling. When I came back to have her do the work I found out that she had gone on vacation and I was shuffled to Dr. Singh. From the moment he started drilling it was like he was putting everything he had into carving out my tooth. There was so much aggressive pressure with the drill that my head was being pushed into the headrest. He kept telling me to calm down and trust him...how do you trust someone that is piledriving a drill into your mouth? He kept saying "Oh, there is a lot of decay, my friend." and "Trust me, my friend, I have 35 years of experience, my friend." When someone you just met has to keep telling you to trust them and that they are your friend, you SHOULDN'T trust them and they are, most certainly, NOT your friend! After several agonizing minutes of aggressive drilling he finally exclaimed "Ah...there it is! There's the nerve!" Like he was looking for it. That is just my opinion, but you know how, sometimes, your gut tells you that you've just been taken advantage of? You know why you gut tells you that...? I was 51 years old at the time and in all my life I never had such a terrible experience with a dentist. After he exposed the root, he then said "I'll put some medicine on it and fill it, JUST TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, but in 6 months to a year you're going to need a root canal...Trust me, my friend, I have 35 years of experience, my friend." Riiight. I should never have agreed to let him work on my mouth. I should have waited till his daughter got back from vacation. I walked out feeling like it was deliberate. Fast forward a year and a half to today. Since 2019 my molar has been sensitive to both cold and heat and while chewing, because he exposed the nerve. The last 4 days I've been in agony and taking Advil for the pain. I knew I could not go back to this group again so I had an emergency appointment with another dentist. Who x-rayed my molar and after looking at it diagnosed that the root is dying. When I told the dentist my experience over that Liberty Dental she looked honestly shocked and said "Wait a minute...you mean he exposed the nerve? Why didn't he take care of it then?" That's an odd question don't you think? Aren't dentists trained the same way? Don't they know that if they expose the nerve they're supposed to take care of it right away? Hmmm. The new dentist's response is quite condemnatory, in my opinion, but what do I know? I'm not a dentist "with 35 years of experience." So, to end this horrific experience, here I am, a year and a half later, in the middle of a global pandemic, having lost my business/income as a mobile entertainer due to COVID-19, without dental insurance because I can't afford it, no vehicle because it broke down and I can't afford to fix it, for all intents and purposes, bankrupt - AND with a molar that NOW needs a root canal, because Dr. Singh exposed the nerve, and will ALSO need a crown, because Dr. Singh exposed the nerve, and my only other option is to have them pull the tooth and lose it, BECAUSE DR. SINGH EXPOSED THE NERVE!! The 1 Star is ONLY for the front desk folks who were very nice. So...do you still want to try this dental group out? Please, save yourself the pain - go somewhere else! read more

They quoted me $140 for a route canal, with my insurance. I take off work, lose time and money, they call 30 minutes before the appointment and change my amount due to $450+. I lost time at work, still in severe pain, and they only care about money! AVOID at all cost!! Stay away!! Greedy and no empathy for human suffering!! read more

This review is for Dr. Yvonne Hart, the prosthodontist. I am terrified of needles, especially the pain that comes from having to be numbed for dental procedures. Dr. Hart is a MASTER at giving injections in a stepwise fashion that reduces 99% of the pain. She is warm, kind, and patient with the process so that no unnecessary pain or discomfort is felt. Additionally, the crown she gave me is the most beautiful crown I've ever had--and I've had a lot. It looks indistinguishable from a real tooth, unlike my other fake-looking crowns provided by prior general dentists. If you need a crown, book Dr. Hart! She is the best. Also, all the assistants and front desk staff I've interacted with at this practice have been lovely, friendly people. read more

My last visit for a filling resulted in TMD from the dentist overextending my jaw during the procedure. It was several months before I was able to eat and talk without discomfort. I was also annoyed with being overcharged for this visit and finding out later, after reviewing my claim, that I had a credit due. Another annoying issue is the dentist always pointing out the amount of my yearly benefit remaining. "Make sure you take advantage of this before it expires." I'll not be returning. read more

I also love how they truly care about their patients. Of all the years going to Dr. Singh he always remembers me and asks how my family is doing. was unhappy with the general dentistry, Periodontist was great though, and the assistant who did the cleanings great. Over the 3 or so years a high turnover of desk staff, My filling fell out and it was never even communicated to the new out of school dentist who I was given to after Dr singh became less and less available. It actuallly wasnt even a filling just the begining of one and my insurance would not cover it twice. Not even an offer to fix it when I complained to the desk staff who apparantgely hasn't a clue. I felt like I was a guinea pig with issues including being scheduled for an unnecessary root canal and a crown that became stuck with temporary adhesive. Then I got a call a year later wondering where i had been.I was so angry on the phone I was shocked that the dentist would even call me after not contacting me with regard to my prior issues after 3 phonecalls with the rude deskstaff who tried to make me re pay for my x rays when my insurance already had, saying I needed to have copies. Dental groups seem to me to be like buying a franchise anymore cutomer service being last on the list and insured money grabbing being prioritized, like a eleven. The dentists are really nice and take good care of you while you're there. Watch out though because if you miss your appointment for ANY reason they charge you $50 if you don't give at least 48 hours notice. I'm not exaggerating when I say if you give 46 hours notice they will still charge you. I'm also not exaggerating when I say my daughter got snowed in visiting her grandmother in NJ when they had over 2 feet of snow and they still charged me! I just wanted to share how great of a practice this Dentist is. I have been going here since 2000 when I was a freshman in college and even though I now live in New Jersey, over 90 minutes away, I still continue to make my way there. From the hygienist to Dr. A and her father, Dr. Singh I have never had a bad experience. I started out as an invisalign patient getting braces and immediately went there for my cleanings. Over the years I have experience a few fillings, braces, deep cleanings and more and not one time did I leave there with a bad taste in my mouth. My daughter had her first dentist appointment there and i was impressed that they were so friendly and caring during her teeth cleaning. They even had finding nemo on for her to watch during her procedure. After hearing nothing but good things from my daughter i thought i would go and get a cleaning too. It had been a few years since i saw a dentist so i was a little nervous. My cleaning went okay excpet for the fact that the whole time i was insulted since my teeth were so bad. I come from a family of teeth problems. "You are a very pretty girl but your teeth are just bad" was what i was told over and over again during my cleaning. I understand my teeth are bad and i have multiple cavities but do you need to insult me repeatedly about it...no should be the correct response. I thought that maybe the dentist was having a bad day and he would be more personable my next visit. No such luck. He continued to harp on me about my bad teeth my entire 2nd visit. My 3rd visit was to get a tooth pulled. Dr. Singh was teh one who did my novacaine. While he was injecting me he went too deep and hit a nerve which caused an electric shock throughout my entire face. I was in tears at this point. It was so scary and painful that it took me a few moments to calm myself down so he could continue. His response "these things happen its nothing that you did or that i did, it just happens sometimes." Now i've had many novicaine shots before but never have i gotten an electric shock through my entire face. I wish my horrible experience stopped there. The oral surgeon Dr. Biron who did my tooth extraction ended up cutting my tongue when his one tool slipped. Again i recieved no oppology "these things happen sometimes" is all i was told. Needless to say by the end of my visit i was very distraught. It took me a complete hour to calm myself down. I couldn't stop crying. My husband seeing me upset asked for an explanation. Dr Singh came out to the car where i was and "attempted" to comfort me. Again i was told it wasn't my fault or his fault these things happen. He reassured me that my tongue was not cut, although you could clearly see the blood on my tongue. He also went so far as to tell me i was being emotional for no reason. I was overreacting since i am a female was what he told me at one point. I wish i could post pics of the black & blue mark on the side of my tongue where the tool hit it. Everyone might have had great experiences their but I for one will not be going back neither will my children. read more

I had a medical emergency with my child that caused me to miss my appointment for a cleaning. When they called me 15 minutes after I was scheduled to be seen I apologized profusely and rescheduled for the next day, explaining the situation to the receptionist. The next day, 3 hours prior to my appointment I notified by phone that I was to pay $50 for the missed appointment, or I would not receive care. I explained that my oversight was due to a medical emergency and was told that this was their policy and no exceptions could be made. I asked to speak to Dr. Singh and explained the situation. I told him I spent over $1000 last year out of pocket for his dental care and never missed an appointment or was late. I asked him to waive the fee and he said he could not do it. I understand that policies such as this are needed in order to deal with patients who are repeated no-shows, however I am not one of these people. I offered documentation of my childs medical emergency but it fell on deaf ears. Unfortunately this practice is all about getting paid. My father is a retired dentist and in all his years of practice would never have treated a reliable patient this poorly. Oh, well. Just another example of how corporate greed overshaddows the delivery of health care in our country. I will now have to find a new dentist. read more

Their staff and doctors are very very nice and seem to do very good work. My only complaint is they all seem like car salesman and try to sell you things like fluoride treatments, teeth whitening, cancer exams, etc all of which isn't covered by insurance of course. I get the feeling like they are commissioned on the products/procedures they are able to sell! If they would take off their sales hats I would rate them a 5! read more

Well, i have been waiting to write this for a long time. I am totally disgusted with Angeli Agarwal. I was having fillings done by her, during the time of her marriage. She had the nerve to have her cell phone pressed against her cheek and shoulder while drilling my teeth! The assistant just watched and did not say a word. I could not believe what was happening! I had to say something and she got offended. Ill never recommend this place to anyone for dentistry minus one fact! The doctor who did my root canal was the most kindest professional Dr i ever met. I cannot remember his name (it was not her father Dr Agarwal). I had zero discomfort and no pain after that procedure. If you need a dentist DO NOT GO here. She is very unprofessional. read more

Very disgusted with this dental practice. They clean my teeth fine, but they are constantly trying to push services from an electric toothbrush to bleaching of the teeth. Furthermore there office staff at the front is not very nice and they have a policy that cancellations have to be more than 48 hours in advance. so if you cancel your 3:30 appt with only 40 hours notice.. guess what? $50 charge. Dr. Singh is nice, his daughter is pushy and wants to sell you everything and their office manage should be fired. They put a lot of money into texting you, emailing you, but never calling you about your appointment. They send you birthday greetings on your cell ...which makes me wonder, how much of my money goes towards this...whats wrong with dependable service...all the bells and whistles don't matter, just clean well taken care of teeth. I should probably begin by saying I'm not exactly a connoisseur of dentists. I went twelve years without seeing one, during which time some miraculous combination of good luck, reasonably good habits (I always brush, mainly out of fear, though I never flossed), and the obligatory fluoride treatments I got as a child of the middle class in the mid-70s kept the damage to three significant cavities and a receding gumline. Anyhow, after twelve years, I decided to see one, and I found this practice more or less at random, and I have to say, I cannot imagine a better dentist. First of all, they can manage with nervous little kids absolutely fine. Nothing fazes them. I brought my two-year-old in after her she fell face-forward and banged her tooth, and they handled her fine. They've inspired my five-year-old to brush twice a day. And, second, maybe even more miraculous, they persuaded me to start flossing without ever making me feel guilty about my previous bad habits. They have a pretty much all-inclusive practice -- they do pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery all in-house, and it all seems to be run as a sort of benevolent dictatorship by Dr. Singh and his daughter, who everyone seems to call Dr. A. One thing that really struck me as incredibly considerate is that, if you have insurance, they will try to find out when you make an appointment precisely how much your co-pay is going to be, and they'll write it on your appointment card. They really go out of their way to work with your insurance company to try to keep your costs down. And they're all so nice! They seem to have a practice-wide philosophy that you should never scold a patient because it just doesn't help, and I think they're right. If you're looking for a dentist near Phoenixville, check them out. It may sound impossible to like your dentist, but I predict you'll like these folks. read more

6 months, 4 fillings and 2 kids visits later and we are moving to another dentist. I honestly believe that I was told that I needed unnecessary fillings done and have discovered that they are the least gentle dentist/ hygienist we have ever seen. I also dislike that they consider themselves a "pediatric dentist" seeing as how my son came home in tears with a gash in his mouth from their instruments. (He is 4 and it was only his second ever visit to the dentist). During his visit, I was the only one offering him encouragement and comfort while the hygienist acted annoyed. I never had a single appointment with Dr S. That he didn't step away for one administrative thing or another. One time, it was an HVAC repairman that needed attention while he was in the middle of drilling a cavity. I have found that their front desk women are absolutely amazing but we won't be going back. read more

I already had some issues with the office like a song with the "f" word blaring from their speakers, but this is the issue that made me leave. When I went on my insurance website, I discovered Liberty Dental overcharged me $790.80!!!!! My insurance company called them and asked why. They turned around and said they weren't sure what the insurance company would pay so they billed the total amount. They knew they owed me some money back. Were they ever going to tell me???? This went on for 4 months. The insurance company had paid them promptly so they knew they owed me money. They never bothered to mention it the 6 times I was in? Let me start off by saying that I work and have worked in the medical field for 8 years as an office manager of a very busy and elite medical office. My husband and I moved so I was forced to switch dentists about a year ago and when I went to my first (and only) visit at Liberty Dental, I was put through the whole routine of the exam, x-rays and cleaning. The exam and cleaning were routine and the x-rays were as uncomfortable and took as long as one might expect. I met with Dr. Singh at the end of the visit. He proceeded to tell me that I should redo my fillings to "newer, white fillings" because they are more aesthetically pleasing. I did not think that I needed to go through the pain and spend the money on parts of my mouth that only I would be seeing. So, I declined the procedures. A couple of months later, my husband had to cancel an appointment because he was called for a job interview. He called on a Saturday at about 4:00pm (right after he received the date and time of the interview) to cancel his Monday appointment. He was called on Monday to say that he would be charged a $100 late cancel fee because it was the second time he canceled - the first being when his car broke down and he had to call AAA to get his car to a dealership to get a new battery. I advised him to question the $100 fee, which is the highest late cancel fee I've ever heard of. The office manager, Diane, spoke very rudely to him and said he didn't have a choice but to pay. My husband then spoke to Dr. Sing and the doctor said that he had no part in the policy and he then proceeded to give my husband a lecture on being more responsible. Well, just imagine saying to an interviewer of a prospective job that you can't do your interview that day because you have a dentist appointment. I don't know about everyone else, but if someone said that to me at work I would cross their name off the list. All in all, the office would not budge and is still requiring that we pay the $100 late cancel fee. Unbelievable that they are willing to lose two patients, hundreds of dollars of health insurance reimbursement plus numerous referrals for a late cancel fee. I guess they have patients knocking down their door to get an appointment in their not-at-all-unprofessionally-run office. read more

Dr. Singh is so great with the little ones! Absolutely amazing! My kids were (understandably) hesitant to go to the dentist, but Dr. Singh and his team made it a less stressful situation for everyone (including me!). My son didn't even realize that the doctor had a needle to numb his mouth, they are that good! I have been a patient at this establishment for nearly two decades. Recently, I got a new job with benefits from a different insurance company then my old plan. When I went in for a cleaning, for the first time since switching insurance, I had forgotten the new insurance information at my office(I had to request the information I would need from my HR department) and informed the receptionist of the situation. I was told that I would have to pay out-of-pocket today and then when I give them my insurance information I would get paid back. I did not want to pay the total cost for my cleaning out-of-pocket so I asked if I could reschedule so I could come in with my new insurance information. She told me that I would have to pay a $50 rescheduling fee if I were to do that, so I asked why, I showed up for my scheduled appointment but due to the circumstances could not get the procedures done and do not think I should have to pay the fee? Now I have only had one time out of my almost 20 years of seeing Dr. Singh that I had to reschedule because I did not give them 48 hours notice, but that was my fault and I had no problems paying the fee. I know the policy but considering the circumstances, and the fact that I showed up for my appointment, and being such a loyal customer should have been considered in my opinion. But since this kind of thing has happened to my other family members(5 in total who all go to Dr. Singh) as well, I could not feel the same family oriented practice that I was happy to become a part of 20 years ago. This place feels more like a business that only cares about their profits now and I do not want that. Very unhappy and down right angry. I went there couple yrs back and saw Dr. Agarwal. She is poor listener and even poor at doing her job. SHe completely ignored my allergic medication list and gave me exactly what I was allergic (anesthetic) to so as to speed up her visit time. She had 3 of my previous fillings redone saying they were having cavities down below and then her father, who is none other than Dr. Singh asked me once who did those fillings, as he mentioned they had cavities underneath and need to be redone. Hello...they were done by his daughter just 3 weeks ago. Can you believe that. i did say this to the doctor. no response after that other than that I was told that I should believe him and get them refilled for the 2nd time within 2 1/2 weeks time. This is real. I never went back after that. Horrible practice with terrible doctors. Lots of fraud. People must have been tricked into writing these wonderful reviews for these dentists. May be by chance that they get good treatment but Dr. Agarwal and Dr. SIngh aren't any good. I would never recommend them to anyone. Stay away form this place, lots of fraud. read more

so called DR.S horrible dentist hadn't been to a dentist in 30 years I knew I need dentures and some teeth pulled. first its very hard to talk to this guy told him what I wanted he just says trust me I had good teeth on the bottom this man rips most of them out to right up front they were good teeth but no had to pull them out jack that bill up I guess over $4000 to have a few teeth pulled. then he fixed a cavity and could not smooth it out bothered me from day 1 went back 2 times and never could get it smooth out come on..? that is when I decided I better go seek some advise went 2 places and felt at home. this man is just horrible never told me about dentures plastic or cast never knew they had so many and kinds or warranty's he never spoke once about that..? or did he say you can add on to a partial so why the heck he pulling good teeth out..? I cant imaged him doing implants he puts you in a head lock every time..? then he starts drilling stop walks away comes back same gloves on and right into your mouth..? if you need dentures don't go here if you need cavity fixed don't go here that I can tell you for sure. basically the man is just horrible and he making a good living at it destroying peoples lives is what he doing read more
