If you're thinking of going here - DON'T! The following is MY experience with this Dental Group. I…read morewent to this place because a filling fell out of one of my back molars in August of 2019. After they X-rayed my mouth Dr. Singh glanced at the image of the tooth for like 2 seconds and immediately announced "That's a root canal." His daughter who was sitting with me shot back "Dad, it might not be. Let's take a look first." But, he was insistent that it was a root canal. Seeing that the daughter was more agreeable to taking it slow I made an appointment to have her do the filling. When I came back to have her do the work I found out that she had gone on vacation and I was shuffled to Dr. Singh. From the moment he started drilling it was like he was putting everything he had into carving out my tooth. There was so much aggressive pressure with the drill that my head was being pushed into the headrest. He kept telling me to calm down and trust him...how do you trust someone that is piledriving a drill into your mouth? He kept saying "Oh, there is a lot of decay, my friend." and "Trust me, my friend, I have 35 years of experience, my friend." When someone you just met has to keep telling you to trust them and that they are your friend, you SHOULDN'T trust them and they are, most certainly, NOT your friend! After several agonizing minutes of aggressive drilling he finally exclaimed "Ah...there it is! There's the nerve!" Like he was looking for it. That is just my opinion, but you know how, sometimes, your gut tells you that you've just been taken advantage of? You know why you gut tells you that...? I was 51 years old at the time and in all my life I never had such a terrible experience with a dentist. After he exposed the root, he then said "I'll put some medicine on it and fill it, JUST TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, but in 6 months to a year you're going to need a root canal...Trust me, my friend, I have 35 years of experience, my friend." Riiight. I should never have agreed to let him work on my mouth. I should have waited till his daughter got back from vacation. I walked out feeling like it was deliberate. Fast forward a year and a half to today. Since 2019 my molar has been sensitive to both cold and heat and while chewing, because he exposed the nerve. The last 4 days I've been in agony and taking Advil for the pain. I knew I could not go back to this group again so I had an emergency appointment with another dentist. Who x-rayed my molar and after looking at it diagnosed that the root is dying. When I told the dentist my experience over that Liberty Dental she looked honestly shocked and said "Wait a minute...you mean he exposed the nerve? Why didn't he take care of it then?" That's an odd question don't you think? Aren't dentists trained the same way? Don't they know that if they expose the nerve they're supposed to take care of it right away? Hmmm. The new dentist's response is quite condemnatory, in my opinion, but what do I know? I'm not a dentist "with 35 years of experience." So, to end this horrific experience, here I am, a year and a half later, in the middle of a global pandemic, having lost my business/income as a mobile entertainer due to COVID-19, without dental insurance because I can't afford it, no vehicle because it broke down and I can't afford to fix it, for all intents and purposes, bankrupt - AND with a molar that NOW needs a root canal, because Dr. Singh exposed the nerve, and will ALSO need a crown, because Dr. Singh exposed the nerve, and my only other option is to have them pull the tooth and lose it, BECAUSE DR. SINGH EXPOSED THE NERVE!! The 1 Star is ONLY for the front desk folks who were very nice. So...do you still want to try this dental group out? Please, save yourself the pain - go somewhere else!

I came to Dr. Ben Dor several years ago, after a few years of slacking on seeing a dentist, and had some issues I needed to resolve. She developed a successful personalized treatment plan for me and never made me feel bad about my issues. The office took covid very seriously and always made me feel safe, despite seeing the dentist being such a vulnerable activity during that time. She and her staff remember things I have told them about my life and my family and we always have nice chit chat, which takes away my dread of going to the dentist. I would recommend Dr. Ben Dor to anyone!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, caring dental practice where you are not just a number,…read morethen give Flori and Dr. Arhiri a call! I chose this practice for my dental work after interviewing over 10 different dental practices in the area. I am a licensed dental EFDA and dental educator with over 28 years of experience, and wanted to find a practice where I could feel comfortable. Over my years in many different practices, I have seen tons of shoddy, "patch-work" dentistry. Therefore, I am a HORRIBLE dental patient myself, and do not trust many people to do work in my mouth. Dr. Arhiri quickly put me at ease when I first met him (I just walked in w/o appt to check out the office) and he and his wife Flori, who runs the front desk, greeted me warmly and took time to show me around and address all of my questions. After several weeks of work and almost a full mouth reconstruction, I am happy with my new smile and feel like I have made some new friends as well. I would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Arhiri is a perfectionist, and really takes his time and cares about his work. Very appreciated in a time when you are just a number in most practices. Flori is super sweet and always attentive as well. She answers calls, emails and even texts promptly, and will get you in quickly. They also have great hours and try to accommodate your schedule as best they can. Just one little tip: I did experience an initial confusion over fees, so my one tip would be to get things in writing, so things are clearly defined. (Just ask for a treatment plan that outlines proposed treatment and fees.) Other than this initial confusion, my experience has been nothing but wonderful and I cannot say enough great things about this husband and wife team! Give them a call... you will not be disappointed!

Since I am in my 30s, knowing that titanium implants is highly biocompatible with great durability, but I was not sure with all the possible long term effects of metals in the body I really wanted something that is more natural and holistic. I was elated when I learned that Zirconia implants that had been available in Europe and Japan for quite some time were finally approved by FDA a few years ago with a handful of doctors offering them in the US. I came across Dr. DiGiallorenzo's website during my research online for metal free implants. Dr. DiGiallorenzo's office deals with lots of out of town patients, but since my husband and I live in the Chicago area with 3 young children, I was not planning on taking a trip out of town for the procedure. I contacted the company Z-Systems for a list of doctors providing them in the US, only one holistic dentist was available in the Chicago area. After the consultation I knew I wanted a dental implant specialist to perform my procedure. I then asked Z-Systems for the doctors who had the most experience working with zirconia implants, and Dr. David DiGiallorenzo's name came right on top of the list as the first office in the US offering them. I soon emailed Dr. D and was so surprised when I got a reply from the doctor himself an hour later and a call to speak to him directly. After contacting and seeing various dental professionals, it was so refreshing to be able speak to a doctor who is willing to take time to answer my questions and concerns without requesting an in office consultation with required paid checkup and x-rays first. After several emails addressing my concerns, Dr. D looked at my x-rays and CT-Scans that I had taken at other dentists' offices, he provided me a treatment plan with the cost that is comparable to the cost from local dentists, and he told me that I did not need the sinus lift procedure the other oral surgeon had requested for. I knew then I had found the right place for getting my metal free implants. We took the trip to Collegeville a couple weeks later at end of March 2010, Dr. D's staff picked me up at the hotel in the morning. Having been to many dental professionals' offices prior, I was blown away by the warm welcoming and the attentiveness of Dr. D and his staff. I was given the options of local or general anesthesia and I am so glad that I opted for the local with Novocain. I was alert during the procedure and there was relaxing tranquil music playing in the background. Most surprisingly, a massage therapist was with me the whole time providing me massages and reflexology to help ease any tensions. Dr. D was very gentle and repeatedly checked to see I was doing OK, he also pointed out the steps as the procedure progressed. There were hardly any discomfort nor bloody scene like I had read about in other people's dental implant experiences. I was so relaxed throughout the procedure and before I knew it, all four implants were in and I was ready to go. When my husband came he was surprised that I did not look like I just had a surgical procedure! We were driving to Atlantic City that afternoon and my husband thought he would have to lay me down on the hotel bed once we got there but instead we took the kids on the board walk for a couple of hours and had a nice dinner (fluid diet for me). Dr. D gave me a call the second day morning to check on me as well. I had expected to stay in the hotel recovering but I only needed the pain relief for the first 24 hours, and there were very minimum bleeding and swellings. I enjoyed the rest of the trip with my family at the Jersey shores. It's been 2 months since I came home with my implants, and the recovery had been a breeze comparing to the recovery I had when my teeth were extracted. I had a regular check up at my dentist's office last week and showed off my metal free implants - the office also has an oral surgeon on staff and they do lots of titanium implants. My dentist took a full set of x-rays and thought my implants look great and the integration was doing really good. He also commented that Dr. D did a great job. In a few months I will be ready to get the crowns! Thank you Dr.D and your wonderful staff for the dental experience like no other!
