So happy with the results of my backyard and the new staircase they made for us and their stucco work! The backyard flooring is made from Cambridge pavers. Zack chose the best type of materials for my backyard project, exactly what I wanted. His workers are always there 7:30 to 7:45Am like clockwork everyday until they finish the job. Zack, Mohammed and their team did great work redoing our sidewalk and walk way. Also installed some Belgium block around the tree pit. Honest, timely, responsive and affordable. Amazing "customer is right" attitude. They never got offended if I nicely asked "to be carful with that" or "move that an inch over" etc. Polite crew, they didn't smoke and spit or yell/ talk loudly. For me the above is what's most important. That being said this is a real world 5 stars, not a dream come true. If you are looking for a crew that will do spotless work down to every millimeter and put your OCD at ease you will need to pay at least another 25% more, but good luck finding them, and it's a risk they do a sloppy job and leave a little mess anyway. Don't expect to pay the most competitive price then show up at the end of the job and have them redo it because there is a tiny lump here or a gap there. Like I said, they were very gracious in adjusting things to my liking throughout the process, but that requires being there and paying attention. Set reasonable expectations and you won't be disappointed. read more

Retained their services to replace the shingles on my mothers house, there was a lot of over promising and under delivering during this transaction. They also verbally gave me a guarantee on the work, however about 3 months later during all the rain, we are still experiencing leaks from the ceiling. I tried following up with the owner and he'd always respond he'd come and inspect and take a look but never came. Also, during the process of removing the old shingles, they managed to scratch a large window (which they denied it was them) and also left a bunch of pieces of old shingle material on the lawn and in the driveway which I had to end up cleaning up. I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone, they're very friendly and charming in the beginning and then disappear when the jobs complete and have to fix something that they said was originally fixed. The quality of the work they did was not amazing, it works for now but for the money spent, we could have had a certified professional roofer come and do it, and without the mishaps of everything. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. We hired Liberty General to rebuild a 50 foot retaining wall for us on our property in Woodside, Queens (with a price tag of over $20,000). We dealt with the owner Zak and at first, he was very professional and the work conducted at the start of the project was great. However, he left the project incomplete and we waited over 2 months for completion with broken promises (Note: the work never did get done). We met with Zak after the work was said to be completed to go over unfinished work and he said on multiple occasions that this work would get done. After calling, texting and emailing him multiple times over two months, he then claimed that since he was paid, he did not have to do any more work and the job was complete. He basically went back on his word and took our money without completing the work. Buyers beware: The work he failed to do was as follows: 1) He failed to tie the 50 foot retaining wall into the adjacent wall at the back of the property so there is a large gap with no reinforcement. He knows nothing about proper construction and retaining walls. 2) He left holes all along the retaining wall where pointing needed to be done. 3) we had to ask our neighbors to access their property to complete the job. The neighbors property was left a mess and Liberty failed to properly clean up the debris left behind. I would not recommend Liberty to anyone looking for any type of concrete work. read more

This dude is a thief, he needs to sign off on work and is refusing to do it. His work is shoddy, at best!! Can't get in touch with him, says he will call and doesn't. Can never get a straight answer from him. You're better off doing the work yourself, even if you don't know what you're doing, rather than hire this thief!!! read more

I was looking for someone to do our roof in a timely manner. My roof is shingles and I didn't know who to go to. I called Ali up and asked for an estimate and he gave me the lowest and best price. The roof had a pretty bad leak from the dish satellite being torn off. Ali and his team did a great job! I will hire them again in the future. read more
