My windshield was attacked by an alien rocketship, and the aftermath was pretty bad. I had originally called a popular auto/glass company in Lakeview and they gave me a verbal estimate of some $450+. So, I called around some places near work and was happy to receive a more reasonable quote from Nabil at Auto Glass Tek. The appointment was set for 8:00 am, but I received a phone call at 7:55 am saying the order they placed the NIGHT BEFORE did not get to the shop on time. I didn't even bother calling back. Awesome! Had to replace my entire windshield. Liberty ordered the replacement windshield overnight, and I set up an appointment to come in the next day. After 90 minutes, I drove away with a great new windshield! From the outside, Liberty's new digs in Addison admittedly looked a little shady. It's kind of like this warehouse sort of building which is shared with a few other businesses. No big signs - I had to ask a guy which door they were at. Inside, it was fine enough. There's a waiting room with a couch, free wifi, and a restroom. What more would I need? The service - the important thing - was great. Liberty was professional and respectful the whole time. Stupid rock hit my windshield and cracked it! Started off small (less than a quarter size) and within an hour spread!!! Had no idea of where to go, so I relied on Yelpers to see me through this crisis. Although this establishment is 40 minutes from my house, the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I called and talked to the owner, and he was able to get me in the same day. Replacing the windshield took less than an hour. The owner is exceedingly professional and positive, and wants to ensure that quality, care, and attention to detail is put into his work and my vehicle. Nabil gave me a a good deal on a glass replacement. It was NOT the best price in town, however it was competitive. I went to him because he was very professional on the phone. I told him I was driving from downtown and he gave me a discount on the glass replacement. The place was a bit makeshift, they are still setting and fixing up their garage areas. This place is great. It is a small independent shop that is focused on good customer service. At the beginning of the year, my windshield cracked. I called Liberty on a Monday morning. They were a lot cheaper than I expected and were able to replace my windshield later that afternoon. Fast forward three months later and I go to get in my car and see that the rubber seal around the windshield was coming off. I called the next day. Since I had to be in the office and my wife just had surgery, I asked if they could come to my house to fix it. They were great about it. They came out to my house the next day at the time they said the would. They didn't do just a quick patch job with glue but replaced everything: glass, seal and all! I had a cracked window replaced on my 2001 Jeep which required Liberty to order the parts. Instead of waiting for them to be delivered- they went out and found the windshield and the molding the same day I called. This in itself is exceptional service. They replaced it at below cost of other places and notified me that their service comes with a lifetime warranty. I didn't think much about that but a couple months later I was driving on the highway over 50 and heard a loud whistling coming through the seam in the newly installed windshield. I called them and Nabil (the owner) apologetically told me that he will personally come in to the shop anytime I can get there to ensure that the problem is rectified. He also ordered a new windshield in case he broke the other when trying to replace the seal. I brought it in several weeks later and Nabil did the removal and re-instillation himself at no charge. It was done extremely well and at no cost, (except obviously my time) Overall, I am very satisfied. It is hard to find businesses that take pride in their work these days but this is one of the rare ones. They are loyal to their customers and as a customer I will be loyal to them. They offer in shop repair or mobile service and are very accomodating to scheduling a time that works for you (both times that I called I was able to set up an appointment for the same day and at the time that I wanted).
