After asking around the St. Charles, Geneva, and Batavia area Riggs Brothers kept on popping up as a place to get your car windows tinted. I dropped the car off at 8:30 in the morning and they reviewed the old tint that was on my driver side and passenger side front windows, measured the current tint on my windows, then walked me through the different tints available. By early afternoon, it was all done and the price was more than fair. They also went over the steps to care for the tinting while it cured. I brought my 1998 Mercedes SL500 in to get leaking hydraulic cylinders for the convertible top replaced. This is a massive job as it requires almost the entire interior to come out. I also needed to have the rear windows sewn in because the stitching was in poor shape. Jim took great care of me. The price was very reasonable, he uses the best part supplier when it comes to the hydraulic components, he worked around my schedule and the weather, and is just a pleasure to work with. I will be coming back for some other interior and exterior work in the next offseason. I would 10/10 recommend Riggs Brother's. read more

Installed an aftermarket power top on my Jeep. They are amazing to work with! Do amazing work, supper intelligent and kind. They were able to install and fix the imperfect aftermarket top I had previously purchased and problem solve the issues quickly. While we were getting our car repainted at Berlin Fox Valley Collision, they referred us to Riggs Bros to get the headliner replaced. After 12 years of hair rubbing it, and the occasional open sunroof during a surprise rain, the headliner in our car looked like hell! They did an amazing job recovering our factory gray headliner with a nice black microfiber fabric. They even picked up and returned the part to Berlin Fox Valley while the car was being painted. I had been aware of this place from more than 20 years ago, when the company I had been working for had some work done on the interior of one of our aircraft. I thought of them about 12 years ago when I had them add a seat heater to my wife's car. Worked great until she sold the car. My 5 year old Grand Caravan had developed a split in the driver's seat. I took it to the dealer from where I had purchased it for an estimate. They were very happy to fix all my problems, for about $800 for the replacement leather cover. Plus labor! I then went to Riggs Brothers in St. Charles and talked with Jim Riggs, who looked at the seat, told me that there was no need to replace the entire cover, (unless I wanted to) and that the whole job would take about 4 hours, and that they would faithfully reproduce the contrasting red stitching with the black leather cover. The job actually took only about 3 and 1/2 hours and cost only $350 and looked perfect. I'm totally satisfied with the quality of the work, the reasonable pricing, and the attitude of the people there. read more

Through inattention, I allowed the top on my 07 Saab to jam on objects in the rear seat while lowering it. The passenger side rails bent and the top wouldn't fully fold - bummer. A friend recommended Riggs Downers Grove due to good work they'd done on his Mustang. Since I'm in Carol Stream, I tried this St. Charles location. I'm very happy with their friendliness, accommodation and workmanship. They repaired the damage, left the top in fine working and cosmetic appearance and charged me a very fair price. I will post more later on the durability and wear and tear of my tinted windows, but for now I want to post about the experience so far. After dealing with another tint company for four days, trying to get an appointment, I got fed up and just googled one near my home. I called Riggs Bros. at 8:50 am and was told to come on in. I jumped in the shower and was there in 40 minutes. An hour and twenty minutes later, my windows were tinted on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Could not be happier. If I ever need anything done on my interior or soft top, these guys are going to get the call. read more

I have a 2014 Avalon. The driver's seat was uncomfortable to me because of insufficient padding in the seat and it was too firm. I contacted Riggs Brothers at St. Charles and took it there. They added more foam padding to the seat. Now the seat is very comfortable. The people who work there are very patient and they do a professional job. An expensive waste of time - I spent several hundred dollars to get a lumbar support installed in my car. After several trips, it became apparent that they did not have a clue as to how to make it work. I ended up removing it myself - it was useless. Their installer was pretty rude, too.
