Our consultant, Kozman, listened to our wishes and added a lot of his own ideas for the design. Once the plan was finalized the installation was smooth and quick. I attended Liberty's first plant bingo event this weekend and I was so impressed. It was my first time there, and the nursery was lovely and had a wonderful selection of plants. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The bingo event was executed flawlessly, I was so amazed it was their first time hosting an event like that! The prizes were all gorgeous plants I would have picked out myself, and when two guests called bingo at the same time the staff graciously produced another plant of the same variety for the second winner. I missed the name of the woman calling numbers, but she was a great host and kept us laughing the whole time. After a competitive hour and a half of bingo, we were invited to shop the nursery at a 10% discount and ask any plant related questions we had. Upon arriving everything seems very nice, but once inside it took a slight turn. As I walked the isles I noticed a lot of plants that had root rot/ other issues as well as them desperately needing water. I noticed water bottles everywhere and trash on the walkways. The slots in the back where the soil and rock are, are poorly maintained as well. Seems as if they have products mixed within one another and the person at the back didn't mind. I wasn't helped at first and wasn't stopped until I was ready to leave to be asked if I needed any help. The workers seemed to have a smile on their face but I overheard one woman who seemed to be condescending and rude to her employee. (Believe her name was sunny). This place has been around for a long time and doesn't seem as I remember. I may be stuck in my ways but I liked it better before. My family will be shopping elsewhere from here forth. Hope this comment will open their eyes a bit as they need it. read more

This is now my favorite nursery in Jacksonville. The service is incredible and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a huge place but very well organized. I especially liked visiting the chickens in the back of the property! I bought purple butterfly bushes, a blue Hosta and some other plant. Had 2 yards of mulch delivered today. Called Friday and was delivered Sunday. They provided a 4 hour window and it came about hours into the window. Driver called to let us know he was on his way. He arrived timely and dropped it right near our project. The rep on phone was super friendly and answered all questions. Driver was friendly also. We ordered 2 yards and though we were ordering too much. Turns out we needed about 3 maybe 4 yards haha for $15 delivery fee it's not gonna break the bank to have more delivered. We had 5 loads of mulch delivered recently. Our delivery guy was friendly and professional. He made sure the mulch went on our tarps and not on our lawn. I purchased milkweed for my caterpillars yesterday and this morning they are all DEAD! 45 dead caterpillar to be exact. I asked specifically if pesticide were used on their plants and was told NO! Clearly someone lied and the cost of 45 monarchs in the making. I don't appreciate shit products that kill the one hobby that I have. Today, I will be bringing them back their milkweed along with the dead caterpillars that are still attached to the leaves. I'm disgusted with you Liberty! Liberty is incredible. Our family recently moved to Florida for the first time, and I have no experience with the new plants in our yard. Someone from Liberty came out and walked us through literally everything. Tammy took us plant by plant through every garden patch in our yard. She gave us helpful recommendations for what we should prune, how we should prune it, when we should prune it, what we should take out, and what to expect for every tree and bush we asked about. She also talked with us about our options if we wanted top pay for someone from Liberty to come do it for us. She recommended tree services and lawn services we could call. She knew everything! It was really fun to go over everything with her. Before her visit, I was feeling so overwhelmed by everything, but after talking with her I feel encouraged to tackle our yard. Beautiful weather we have been having lately inspired me to clean up my garden area and get started planting some vegetables. I decided to check out Liberty Landscape Supply to also pick up some nice flowering plants to dress up my front yard. Typically I don't care to purposely grow plants unless I can eat their bounty. The gorgeous selection here made me want to plant a bigger garden just to enjoy visually. I was so impressed with the quantity and quality of plants, both vegetable and decorative. Everything looks so healthy and strong. I got my herbs and tomatoes but also stocked up on pretty flowers. When I walked in, several helpful employees offered assistance, which I gladly took. The plants are plentiful so I did not know where to start. They led me right to the best full sun flowers and the selection was nearly overwhelming. I was still able to put together some great varieties and have been so happy with the planted results. Prices were very reasonable too, so this is my new go-to plant nursery in town. Beautiful nursery, great selection, decent prices. However, the customer service is honestly some of the worst we've experienced at any nursery since moving to FL. We recognized this during our first visit, but visited a second time, in case it was an off day for the crew. Same experience. No one acknowledges you're there unless you're actually at the register making a purchase. Even then, ZERO smiles, zero personal interaction - all business. Not a welcoming atmosphere. There is never an associate available in either the greenhouse or the outdoor area to answer questions. During this second visit, we planned to purchase several outdoor plants and a boulder for our newly landscaped front yard, however we needed a few questions answered, first. When I asked an associate at the registers if someone was available to help, I was told someone would be over shortly. We waited 20 minutes. No one ever came. We purchased what we already had in our cart and nothing more. No one - including the associate who told me someone would be over to help - said anything more to us than how much we owed. Pat's Nursery, while smaller, is much more pleasant and productive to visit, as they excel at customer service - and that means something. read more
