Went in for a "scheduled" appointment to have my exhaust looked at. The guy in charge was sleeping in the waiting room so another emplyee sweeping tried to help. He wasn't able to figure out what to do so he poked the sleeping man with his broom. He woke up and mumbled to me. I told him I was the 5:15pm appointment. We looked out to see if there was a bay open for me to pull in. We look back at the man in the chair and he fell asleep again. Another employee came in from the garage to try to help. They decided to pull out a car so I could pull in. I turned my head and pointed out that the car they suggested didn't have wheels at the moment. They replied- "oh I guess we won't be pulling that one out" I said I'd try another day. I will not go back. A shred of professionalism would go a long way. Poor service. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP nothing but a scam, brought my car to them and being a young female they defiantly thought they'd be able to get one over on me , tried to charge me triple what the parts to fix my car cost. The worst part is my car started when I brought it to them and no longer does after bringing my car here I'm out $$$ and have MORE issues than when I brought it in. My muffler was starting to get super loud and it needed to get fixed. Liberty was able to get me in the next day and able to fix it while I was there. I was extremely surprised and pleased with their quick, efficient service. The part I needed was difficult to find and could see them working diligently at trying to find a resolution. This should be no stars! I brought my car to this shop in April/May to have it fixed for a number of issues. My quote for everything was well over $1,000. That's not where my issue is. My issue is that I drive a 2002 Volkswagen Passat and they have special keys. I had my car towed to Liberty and my dad was there for the drop off. My dad personally put my key in an envelope and dropped it in the door slot because it was after business hours. When I was handed a key I told the guy that wasn't my car key because my key wasn't smashed up and mine had a couple key chains. He said it was the only Volkswagen key that they had and asked if I had the 2002 Passat. So someone there SMASHED my car key and they wouldn't own up to it. He even handed me the envelope back that my key came in and it had a dirty footprint on it. So someone stepped on my key (the guy I paid to fix my key afterwards said it looked more like someone ran it over with a car rather than being stepped on). They wouldn't own up to destroying my key because why would they? Those keys cost over $100-$150 to fix. On top of that they threw the evidence away (my speedy rewards card and more importantly MY MAIL KEY!). So I paid the money to get it fixed and left angry. I ended up having to bring my car back in because one of the issues I brought it in for fell apart. It ended up being a loose nut behind my tire that THEY FORGOT/ didn't properly tighten and they CHARGED ME $35 for a service fee on THEIR MISTAKE. At this point I was more than appalled at the service and never planned on coming back. Now here we are in October, and my coolant is leaking. One of the reasons I brought it into the shop back in April/May was for this issue. They fixed my hoses and put in a brand new tank and said it was all fixed. Nope! It's leaking all over again and it shouldn't be. It hasn't even been a full 6 months since having it all replaced. They are not good people, they are not honest, and they do not do good work. read more

Kevin has been very helpful with my car since Ensing's told me my catalytic converter was clogged and that it would cost $1100. He offered the best price ($500, a huge difference!) on a repair in the area. He has 22 years of experience and knows more than just brakes and mufflers, and most importantly, seems to be honest. When he had already ordered the part I was told I needed by Ensing's and then it turned out to be my timing belt, he didn't charge me for it. In fact, on discovering I needed an entire new engine, he only charged me for an hour of labor when he put two into it. Now that's good business. As a graduating college student, I really appreciated his honesty and kindness. He is even letting the car sit on the lot while I figure out what I'm going to do. I always feel like I'm getting taken advantage of with auto shops, but my gut always told me I could trust Kevin. I highly recommend him. read more

I would not take my vehicle to these guys unless you are clueless about auto repair and have a limitless bank account! I was told I needed nearly $1000 of suspension work on my F150. I do not abuse my truck and it only has just over 100,000 miles on it. I questioned why I needed so many parts replaced. The answer I got was, they could not do the alignment unless I had all the work done. I took it someplace else in town and was told I didn't need half the parts Liberty was recommending. Coincidentally, my front brakes were not making an awful noise until after I took it in to Liberty. Not to mention, they left my hood popped. I didn't notice it because I picked the truck up in the dark. Thank goodness for the safety latch! The other shop performed my suspension work and a complete front brake job for less than Liberty was quoting for the suspension work! The only reason they are getting 1 star is, they did not charge for the inspection. read more
