He checks all angles and I am pretty consumer savvy as it is and he gave me tips that I did not even think about! My own TIP that I am giving you all is up your deductible to save money on your rates, but make sure you can afford your deductible if something happens. AND check EVERY year your insurance quotes with cars and home,etc to compare (once our car is paid in full or a few years old, switch to liability only to lower your costs). So I compare and receive the best prices from them thus far. His office staff that I have dealt with in the past seem very good and he answered this time around when I came up for renewal and got back to me promptly afterwards when I wanted to change something. INTEGRITY is very BIG in my book and both his staff and Mr. Diaz seem to reflect integrity and a respectful customer service (which is also big in my book-can't stand rude customer service-my pet peeve!). Also following through (this is another pet peeve of mine when people don't do what they say-I am big on following through -even when you don't have the answer yet, just call or talk to the customer to let them know you are waiting or what is going on-I do this and expect others to do this as well!)-so far he has always got back to me promptly and followed through on what he said-I RESPECT that! So overall, I am happy with his service and also the insurance company. I wanted someone local so I can get things handled on a local level if anything happens(hopefully NOT!) and I feel better than dealing with some 800 number with someone far away that just seems so impersonal and I like to support my local businesses! So after my son's car was in the shop for 3 months he finally got it fixed. The very next day he…read morewas rear ended and the car was considered totaled. He was hit by a Farmers insurance customer. We had to fight to get a rental. Then last Friday the payment was due for the damages. I was on phone with this crappy office and they failed to get my payment on this day. They then expected my son to return his rental on that Saturday. I said no since we didn't get our payment on time. He finally got his new car on Sunday and I had to write a post dated check. On Monday the rental was returned and Farmers is actually charging my son over $400. I am now seeking legal counsel against these assholes. If you are a lawyer and read this, hit me up as I am ready to sue these cheaters. I already demanded to be transferred to a local office from this lousy office. Don't trust this office. They dropped the ball on every step on this one. I am a 42 year customer and I will be leaving Farmers insurance by ends month. I don't like being screwed over. My son went from owning a car to now having $350 a month car payments. This is how Farmers insurance treat their customers.
