Mark is ignorant and money hungry and has the poorest customer service skills I have ever experienced. It's like pulling teeth getting assistance and/or a response, and my policy goes up every 6 months even without any accidents or tickets, less driving, etc. Riddle me that! One of the best things is you can reach someone directly, and not prompted with all these options, and hold times. When inquiring on a quote they get back to you within hours. I have checked out other rates with at least 6 different Insurance companies and by far they give me the best rate! The couple of times I had to put in a claim they handled it very promptly, I made 1 phone call and had a check within 10 days. Really what more could you ask for? 5 + stars on every level! Still quite pleased with my tax professional and the outcome, however... I know many, many businesses are struggling these days to find help, and H & R Block were no exception, in the administrative department. First, I was left a voice message in January, before my W-2 forms were even released, to call and schedule an appointment. The caller was male, surly, and sounded bored to tears. Didn't make a good impression. Then I got a call when my taxes were done to schedule a sit down. I told them when I was available and we scheduled a 3pm appointment. They sent confirmation texts, but I didn't read them thoroughly. When I arrived for my appointment, my consultant was surprised to see me but met with me between appointments. Turns out they booked me for the following week at 3pm. We decided to keep that appointment and I would come back for the final product. In between, I left a message for my consultant, a question they asked me to go home and check on regarding my covid stimulus payments from the government. I called back and left them a message regarding the answer. When I met with them the following week, they didn't have my taxes ready as I hadn't answered the question. I asked, "Didn't you get my message? I called the next day." They looked toward reception, rolled their eyes and said "No". A week later, my phone rings and it says H & R Block, so I answered. They said I had left a message and wanted to know if the matter had been resolved. Yes, I said, I already picked up my taxes a week ago. A little late to check now. Four hours later, I received another call, asking if the message I had left two weeks before had been resolved. I responded that it had, and that I had explained that to the person who called earlier that day with the same question. That was a lot of words to say the tax consultants here are good, but the administrative staff seems to lack training, direction, and talent, so double check everything they set up for you, twice.

About two weeks before his death, in his hospital bed in his home, he dictated this review of HPM, and specifically Dave Trudo. More than the words that he dictated, which were from the heart, the fact that he thought enough of Dave and his company to be concerned with making sure that this was done is testimony enough........this is what he asked me to post: Over the 24 years that I was in business, I had many insurance men called on me or come into my store. Some gave you the impression that all they wanted to do was make a quick sale. Others made an effort to feign interest in your business and your needs. The third type of person are not only interested in what you need, but also are truly interested in helping you prepare for the future with the things that are in your best interests. This is a very rare and exceptional person. In the time I was in business, there was only one that excelled in this manner- that man's name is Dave Trudo. On December of 2000, Dave called me and told me that there was something that my wife and I should consider. He wanted to meet with us because he felt it was very important and in my best interests. When he met with us, he was showed me a long term care policy. He said to me "Alec, the reason why I'm bringing this up is that this policy at this price will only be available to you for the next year or two. First of all, it is a lifetime guaranteed policy- if you wait two more years, you will pay as much, if not more for only a three year policy. So, I think it is in your interest to buy now and get the guaranteed lifetime policy." He went on to describe several other benefits. After explaining to me and my wife about the true value of this policy, we decided to sign up. It is now 14 years later and I never expected to have to use the policy, but cancer struck, almost totally disabling me. I have started using the policy and it is everything that Dave described. I would be seriously in debt to pay for the type of service that I'm getting from the policy. I can truly say that if someone else had come in and offered me the same policy, I probably never would have bought it. But knowing Dave, and knowing he has always been on my side, I bought the policy for both myself and my wife. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dave for caring enough to give me this opportunity. I opened a new auto insurance policy with Plymouth Rock Assurance and requested to have the policy…read morestart date moved up so it would take effect earlier in the month. My request was addressed by HPM, and while it was not a simple task to move up the start date (they had to issue me a new policy with the same coverage amounts and new start date), the representative who helped me through the process was extremely helpful and personable. She took care of every step of the process for me and responded to my questions very quickly, going out of her way and making me feel like I was really being put first. Definitely great customer service!

First, all reviews indicate they are among the most expensive. But this is not the issue. I was the eighth car inline stopped on an exit off Rt 101. A Ford F150 was exiting behind me. Suddenly, he hit me at about 8-10 mph. A young male. I immediately jump out and run back to his vehicle and ask what are you thinking? He said, I just spaced it! I see a phone and assume the reason. Typical. Now the insurance. They admit fault, obviously. First agent says to me you need to get an estimate for your car. We will send a confirmation to enterprise car rental nearest you for a rental car while yours is being fixed, comparable to your vehicle. Toyota Avalon. All seems ok up to now. A second person calls me and says the same verifying all and then says Allstate does not pay for the rental. You need to pay on your credit card, have your own insurance or pay for theirs and we will reimburse you in 5-10 days upon you sending the invoices. But, you must find out how long it will take for parts and repair as we will not pay for any unusual periods of time for the rental due to the repair shop. So you must find out how long they will have it. Then she says you will be provided a compact or mid sized car. I say the other agent said...and she said no he was wrong, Secondly, I wanted original Toyota parts and not aftermarket.They say NO we use aftermarket parts only! I say this car is in immaculate condition with only 55K miles, still answer is NO! At this point I am hating on this business model as they are creating a severe inconvenience that should not be. I should not have to pay for a thing, that's what insurance is for. God forbid if it's a total wreak. I am very surprised that people sign with Allstate with such business practices. This is one guy that would not have them as an insurance co.
