    You get a lot less than you pay for. Had to jump through…read morehoops to gather the excess of information they required to file a claim when my office park neighbor's flood crept into my office, at start of Covid-19 scare. Lost days of work to wet offices. For an $8000 loss, they gave me $160. Time to move on.

    I will never complain about Geico again…read more I bought my new car and received an invitation in the mail for one of Liberty Mutuals Hyundai programs. I called at 11:30 pm so I will assume that's why there was an unusual call volume and I was on hold for 30 minutes. The woman who graciously took time out of her day to "help" with my quote was hardly charming nor pleasant. I thought maybe I had dialed the wrong number, this couldn't possibly be the customer service department, right? Wrong. She sounded as if she was bored of our conversation and had no problem talking to me in a tone that was supposed to make me feel stupid. I think the best part of our conversation is when she looked up my info and asked: "Your name is Johnny Clark?". What do you think lady? After all this. she informed me that I don't meet the guidelines for auto insurance. This has got to be a joke, right? I just spent 30 minutes on hold only to be told by a female version of Squidward that I don't qualify? When I asked for an explanation, she informed me I'd get more information via mail within 10 to 14 days. She then thanked me for calling Liberty Mutual and hung up before I could say anything else. I'm quite thankful I don't qualify, knowing I'll never have to speak to that customer representative again makes life a little more beautiful. Although I will say when the day comes that I do "qualify" for Liberty Mutuals "rewarding" programs, this experience (while enlightening) was enough to convince me to never give them any form of business. Liberty Mutual can rest assured knowing that Ill be informing everyone and their mom about the All-star customer service they boast so much about. P.S 1 months later and I still haven't received the letter stating why I don't qualify for insurance.

    Horrible!!! We were loyal for years, they were TERRIBLE to deal with. Our first agent was great,…read morethen she left the company. We never much needed to deal with them, until we actually needed them. And our agent Judy was horrific, and her boss Jared was even worse. No communication, and absolutely no help. When our apartment got flooded, they refused to cover us, but marked on our record that we had made a claim!! We never saw a dime. We have since switched over to Keslar Insurance. CANNOT recommend KESLAR highly enough!! They are DELIGHTFUL, and actually work with you!! They are such a dream, there is no comparison!!! Do NOT waste your time with HBL!! I wish I could get the years back and all my money, but Keslar is where it's at. **UPDATE** We have since learned from our current agent that HBL never should have even attempted to process anything through our insurance, since we were RENTING. Furthermore, they have now prevented us from getting approved from HOME OWNERS INSURANCE. Since they marked that we made a claim, and they never actually did, no company will take us! These people need to be SUED. Their lack of knowledge or care to their own trade is dangerous to a normal person who just wants decent insurance!
