Stay away from these people. They are very nice when writing the policies but once you sign on the bottom line they DO NOTHING!!! I had a nightmare trying to get reimbursed for a fire in my home. It happened on a Sunday. I foolishly thought I should contact my agent. She appeared very annoyed that I bothered her (it was Sunday) and told me to call claims. She did not even offer their number or any help. I never heard from her again. Trying to get the claim processed was horrible. I should have read the reviews for Liberty Mutual. If I did I never would have transferred all my insurance to them. This agency is refective of the horrible service you can expect from this pathetic company read more

I wanted to express my disappointment and concern with Libert Mutual. Over 4 hours stranded by the side of 91 south highway, waiting for insurance road side assistance, which never showed up and called tow company who reported they were given a wrong address and sent to a home address and didn't see me so they left but were going to send another tow out again. Unfortunately, after waiting over another hour n no show, i attempted to call the tow company multiple times to get an answering machine. I then attempted to call the insurance, and it was a back n forth, and they were going to follow up, but time kept ticking n no tow truck. I finally had to call 911 n have them send their highway tow truck, pay out of pocket and tomorrow follow up to pick up and have towed again to dealer or see if they could repair at their shop. I sat in my car w open window, unable to close it because the car was completely dead. I had to put a table cloth over the window to help keep wind out until I texted my supervisor to pick me up. It has been one frustrating afternoon and unacceptable client service and possibly endangering my well-being. This has led me to cancel my policy and would never deal with liberty Mutual ever again. read more

I never write reviews, but I felt the need to write one today. I have to say what a major disappointment this company turned out to be. When it came down to it the customer service department and the company failed me. I had come into some financial hardships especially with covid situations. I never really had much of an issue because I had always paid on time. But it came down to needing to have a payment a certain day to avoid cancelation. I paid half of the amount owed. I was one day before cancelation and just and just needed 24 hours to let my check clear to pay the rest and catch up. Which wasn't much at all. They absolutely would not Grant me even that short amount of time. I talk to a couple people and they didn't even try to work anything out to give me that extension. Each person I talk to simply just said they can't do anything and that I will be canceled no matter what. I did say that I would like to stay with them and that I didn't want to have to go by insurance from another company but they didn't care. So what they had shown and what it boils dowhat it boils down to they really do not truly care about their customers. If this is how they are over a very small amount of money I can't imagine them being anymore helpful with anything else. I have used other companies in the past that were so accommodating. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise and I will be given my business elsewhere. read more

They are very helpful when they are seeking your business. They are not so helpful or return calls when you wonder why each year a policy premium continues to go up - without any accidents, tickets, claims for both car insurance and home owners. Inflation or the cost to provide service goes up - really? Am I paying for others Accident Forgiveness? In two years, my policy has jumped to over $600 more. Prospective buyers - beware. read more

Liberty Mutual's "Right Track" program is disgracefully awful. If the uncomfortable-ness and inconvenience of having your driving monitored for 3 months along with the countless complaints that can be found online about these types of "discount" programs don't turn you away, then the complete dis-functionality of the supporting websites, which are your only access to view your progress, will. Also a contribution to my anguish, is their customer service's knowledge of such issues, while they have no choice but to tell you that there is no solution to the problem at this time (take it up with a third party site who won't answer your email). When the site finally decided to display my progress for the first 10 days, it showed that I had apparently racked up 839 miles, when in reality I had driven about 120. Why, you ask? Because my vehicle is apparently "incompatible" with their failure of a device and they can only suggest that I agree to take the baseline 5% discount after being tantalized with the opportunity to save up to 30% upon the completion of the program. So my only attempt at lowering the seemingly staggering price of car insurance for my one vehicle had vanished. I also have reason to believe that this supposedly simple device had been causing issues with my car's computer system that resulted in some strange behavior that I had never seen before. After I gave up on the device and unplugged it? No more issues. Read for yourself about how others have had issues with these devices, and that they can even pose a security threat from hackers. The whole thing is just a mess. After much research and consulting coworkers and friends, I have found that I am grossly overpaying for my insurance and can only believe that I am being completely taken advantage of as a customer that is new to the screwed up world of insurance. My only relief is that I have only been subjected to this for about 2 months now, and I can make a change ASAP. Save your time, money, and privacy, and don't enroll in the Right Track program or ones like it. For these reasons and more, I don't plan on patronizing Liberty Mutual any longer than necessary and will be switching insurers. Wish me luck. read more
