The variety of cookies is remarkable--linzer, tuxedo, florentine, shortbread, ginger, chocolate chip of course, butter cookies dipped in dark or white chocolate, you really need to look at the website to get the full appreciation of the creativity that goes into these cookies. There are always seasonal cookies on offer -- last month Christmas, now heading into Valentine's Day and soon Easter. The cookies are always moist and fresh, and you'd better plan to get there early in the day if you want your pick. I learned this the hard way when I sashayed into the store an hour before closing, mouth watering for my absolute favorite (now), the Toffee Turtle cookie. Those babies were long gone, so I had to "settle" for the next tier of favorites. In fact a few of those were gone as well. That'll teach me. The display case doesn't have them listed by the muffins. I asked 2 questions overall and panicked and just picked 2 other flavors hoping they would be okay, but it wasn't as good of an experience as last month and left me a bit flustered. I first ran into Wild Child Chocolate at a holiday crafts fair in December. Then in April, I got chocolate for my family for the spring holidays. They were a HUGE HIT! Everyone loved them. I got four flavors, so we did a mini chocolate tasting. I had all dark chocolate selections. These are the kinds of chocolates that you eat a little at a time, so you can savor them. The chocolate is handmade, super fresh, and have interesting flavor combinations. They are also made with ethically sourced ingredients. Because I live near the pop-up, I was able to pick up my order. My order was packed and ready, the man at the counter was delightful, as we wished one another a happy holiday! Couldn't be better!
