This was my second time and I wanted to do more than I did the previous time here. I had the privilege of taking a dance class with the soulful and intuitive instructor named Jenny. It was a high energy dance coreo set where she made sure all were included and shined with gusto during the end of class performance. She created a special 'ring of accountability' before and after the class was taught. A true safe space to your bold authentic yourself. This kind of teaching extends beyond one's 'self-care' and exists on a frequency of 'community-care' and supports the 'group mind' of a creative set of artists or people wanting to draw more outside the box. The steam room and sauna were clean and detoxes one perfectly and so does the amazing hot tub and plunge pool duo and while taken all in rotation it was downright Japanese in their easy flowing easy to access layout. For every uptempo aminity there are downtempo ones too. A special shoutout to soulful Elizabeth Brown who taught a mid-day Root Yoga course filled with the best energy and well paced kindness. This is my kind of class, it's solid and restorative in its pacing and keeps the yogi listening without the pressures of comparison. Elizabeth meets you where you are no matter the level of practice and look forward to booking her class again when I am in town next. I did not realize this gym really has it all. I mean I was just looking for a simple get on the treadmill, lift some weights and we are good. I didn't realize there was a pool, childcare and so many fitness classes on the Y app. This is not just a community place but really brings people together from all fitness levels and ages. This is something my previous gyms did not offer. I can really see a difference in the workouts I get here compared to a fitness boutique around Columbus and I've probably been to every single gym in Columbus if you ask a random person who may know me. My lifestyle resolves around the gym to train for the marathons I run. Next time you need a fitness recommendation you can message me or just come here and check it out for yourself. Although their facility…read moreis beautiful, the class schedule is pretty good but somewhat lacking in the evenings and particularly lacking for aquacise. Although I was told that children were only in certain areas, they are all over the exercise pool area and the lap pool. (What they told me about them not being in the locker rooms was true, at least when I left.) Your lane reservation may or may not mean anything. Your aquacise class may be crammed in between swim lessons and it will be extremely crowded (again, in the evenings. Daytime weekday classes are in the lap pool and are somewhat safe.) I don't know what the parents of those kids were promised but they will sit in the pool room and stare at you during your class. It was so unpleasant the last time I went, I decided it WAS the last time. You want this pool so bad you let your kids run in and almost knock me over while I'm trying to get out? Take it, but I ain't subsidizing your kid's lessons either. All of the instructors are great, the facility is clean, and they didn't give me any trouble when I quit. From at least one review, it appears this may have changed.

I visited after work for the first time at around 5 PM. The facility was as expected: a huge room with a large number of cardio machines, free weights, universal training machines and a 30 minute circuit space. There are gender specific locker rooms with changing stalls and showers as well as the aforementioned tanning, massage chairs, and HydroMassage Since I was new to the brand and location (I joined via the app with no human contact) I asked for a tour of the facility. The space was very clean which impressed me. The locker room, showers, changing stalls and toilets all looked good. I was surprised that there is no towel service and you bring your own lock, no self locking options here. I used the treadmill, locker room (purchased a lock from PF for $5) and changing stalls. I would say the facility is what I would expect for the price. Not an expensive fancy club but a basic space where you can meet all your workout needs. I'm pleased with my membership and the friendliness of the staff. One thing my tour guide left out was there are sign up sheets for the amenities like tanning and massage. Don't forget to sign up!
