I purchased the black card membership. With this I get all the "perks" including use of any PF location worldwide, free training, use of tanning beds, massage chairs, Total Body Enhancement and the HydroMassage machines as well as the ability to bring a guest anytime. I visited after work for the first time at around 5 PM. The facility was as expected: a huge room with a large number of cardio machines, free weights, universal training machines and a 30 minute circuit space. There are gender specific locker rooms with changing stalls and showers as well as the aforementioned tanning, massage chairs, and HydroMassage Since I was new to the brand and location (I joined via the app with no human contact) I asked for a tour of the facility. The space was very clean which impressed me. The locker room, showers, changing stalls and toilets all looked good. I was surprised that there is no towel service and you bring your own lock, no self locking options here. I used the treadmill, locker room (purchased a lock from PF for $5) and changing stalls. I would say the facility is what I would expect for the price. Not an expensive fancy club but a basic space where you can meet all your workout needs. I'm pleased with my membership and the friendliness of the staff. One thing my tour guide left out was there are sign up sheets for the amenities like tanning and massage. To anyone considering this location, FIND ANOTHER GYM! They will charge you multiple times a month with random fees and when you ask the staff they say "a third party manages our billing, we can't help you". Planet Fitness Worthington on Dillmont Drive also over charged one of my friends in a way I think is so immoral. THEY SIGNED HIM UP FOR 2 MEMBERSHIPS (and yes he should have checked his account sooner) but now it's been 4 months where they've overcharged and they will not provide him a refund. This gym is like Wells Fargo of all gyms. Signing customers up for things without consent and charging them without their knowledge. Terrible business practices, scamming customers out of hard earned money. Staff is also very rude and not helpful. Kevin who is usually at the front even rolled his eyes at me once. I guess I'm digging some purple. NOTE: This review is based on having a Black Card membership, and not a regular membership. I get it, working out is hard enough with just finding the time and more importantly the motivation, the last thing you want to do is add traffic into the mix. While I love my current gym, I found myself spending a lot of time sitting on 270 during rush hour just to get a work out in. I went looking for a gym really close to home that I could use as needed, such as when pressed for time or if the weather was bad. I walked into this location and was pleasantly surprised by not only the gym but by the staff. I had a lot of preconceptions about PF, based on memes and them being trashed by "real body builders," but my experience was completely different when I walked in. I was greeted by some very friendly staff members ad when I took a tour, was amazed at how well maintained the facilities were and how new the equipment looks. Yes, its very cardio heavy, but the free weights are ample and I didn't find myself fighting for a bench like at other gyms, AND it is open 24 hours. There are plenty of TVs lined one wall, and there are spaces for abs or circuit training. The locker room is spacious and updated, and there are some serious perks for Black Card members: * Use of tanning beds * Use of massaging chairs * Use of hydro-massage (think those things you can lay on at the mall for $5 for 5 mins) * An all-over wellness station (red UV light and vibrating base to get the soreness out) A single session of one or two of the items above can pretty much cost more than my monthly membership and its included. I have to say I'm a fan of this gym. The only drawbacks are the fact that they don't have towel service and the water pressure tends to drop a bit while you shower. I had to update my review here because they keep astounding me here! I'm so happy with my experience at Planet Fitness. My first review did not reflect the trainer with Planet Fitness Andy. He is awesome! He will work with you to get you into the shape you want to be in! I am currently in the Biggest Loser challenge at work and he's been the biggest supporter. I could not ask for any better trainer than him and trust me I've had the best. Meaning I've trained with one of the cheerleaders for the Indianapolis Colt's. I have told my trainer if he ever needs me for a personal story I'd be more than willing to provide him with a good story. I'm so glad I found this gym and also the amount of people I have been able to get to join this gym has been phenomenal. They didn't even have to read my review to join too! read more

I've been a member of Planet Fitness for three years, and the amenities offered for the monthly fee are superb! I have the black membership and that gives me access to the extras, such as the water massage bed, massage chairs, tanning beds and discounts on bottled drinks. They conveniently take payment electronically from my bank account, but you need to provide a voided check when signing up--at least you did when I signed up. This location is the one nearest me currently, but they are opening one on Polaris, and that will likely be my new home location when the time comes. This location is very large, has lots of cardio equipment and weight machines. One thing that was an issue in the beginning is that apparently there isn't enough bicep machines, so guys would come in and hog the one that was in the 30 minute circuit room. I don't spend much time in there anymore, so I don't know if that's still an issue, but me and several patrons complained about it because they would just come and stay on that machine, holding up those who were there for circuit only. There are time limits. This gym is exceptionally clean in the workout area, and the ladies locker room always has a fresh bouquet of flowers, which is a nice touch. The facility overall is the cleanest I've been to. There are several stations throughout the workout area with bottles of cleaner and paper towels, though you still have those people who don't think machine cleaning applies to them. The majority of patrons do though, and if you are unsure, wipe the machine down yourself. The ladies showers and private dressing areas are nice. This convenience actually saved me when we didn't have hot water at home for a week. They have a hair dryer if needed, also. The staff is very attentive and friendly. All in all, you can't join a gym with all these amenities elsewhere for the price. They do offer a $10 membership, but no perks are offered with that. There is a yearly maintenance fee, I believe it's under $50 now. Still a great value! read more

I have been into this planet fitness 5x and have been treated absolutely horribly. The front desk management talks to me like I am absolutely an idiot. I only come here in emergencys - and after this last time, they will never see me here. The machines are always dirty and covered in dust and filth. The front desk staff never has a smile on their face and never shows any customer service. They are always annoyed we have questions for them. Most of them sit in their phones not paying attention. I normally go to the PF downtown Delaware and am greeted each time with joy and happiness that I have arrived. The manager should not have a job. The franchisor should be embarrassed. read more

This Planet Fitness is immaculate - exceptionally clean. Staff is very friendly. I tried the hydromassage bed for the first time and it was so relaxing. In general, I like Planet Fitness for their hours (some locations 24 hrs), the cost is reasonable, you can use any Planet Fitness (at least on some memberships not sure about all memberships), and the amount of equipment is amazing. There are classes to familiarize yourself with the equipment and classes for working out that you sign up for on an app or at the gym. There is also a body enhancement unit that utilizes non-UV light and tanning - services included in the membership. read more

If you live in North Worthington or the Lewis Center area and are looking for a place to work out, this is a good place to go. It is clean, the people who work there are nice, and I don't feel as if I'm surrounded by a bunch of egotistical bodybuilders who judge everyone who walks through the door. I've seen people of all sizes, all ages, all races, all genders...name it, and they are there. It's a great place to be. There are plenty of machines to work out on, and if you want a treadmill, a bike, or an elliptical, there's no need to wait in line. The locker room is clean enough, though I have to say that at times it does stink of sweat, but I guess it wouldn't be a normal gym locker room if it didn't stink every once in a while. Wonderful facility in regards to options and space. It's huge and open and has everything you need aside from stability balls and platform steps (Which I kinda really miss. PF should get some!) and the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Very impressed there. However, I wasn't impressed with the staff. I walked in to sign up today after doing some research and finding such good reviews of this location. The staff is clumped behind the desk in a group of 4 and all 4 look at you when you walk up. Like stare down look at you. I smiled and told the lady I would like to sign up and all she asked was "which membership?" I didn't know. I've never been in. She did seem kind of nice, but never offered to show me around and I had to ask every little detail. Even once I asked about how the black card perks work after I already completed my workout, she only said that we sign up at the front desk. No more details. I went into the Total Body Enhancement room blind, lol. Played with buttons for 5 minutes out of my 10 minute time limit. Thank goodness I can keep trying to figure it out for "free" with my black card membership :P If someone else is behind the counter next time, I'll ask again and update this review if I get some good info :) Also, noticed AFTER signing up that you're supposed to get a free gym bag if you switch to paying with a checking account instead of credit or debit.. now, I could understand that I may not get that perk since I'm a new sign up, but I specifically asked if I could use a credit card and was told no. I didn't go back to ask about my qualification for the gym bag, either. Maybe tomorrow. The other people working out seem like they could be nice, at least, but everyone kind of just sticks to themselves. I didn't actually talk to anyone and not many try to make eye contact for smiles. I've been a member at Planet Fitness for two months now. The facility itself is great - the equipment is new, staff is friendly and helpful, and the price can't be beat for what you get. It's also open 24/7 so I never feel rushed! I decided to go with an upgraded $20/month Black Card membership which allows me to bring a guest each time I visit. My husband just tags along with me instead of getting a separate membership. It's a great bonus in addition to the tanning, massage equipment and half price beverages. If you're looking for an affordable gym in the Worthington, Polaris, Lewis Center area this would be a great fit. It doesn't offer any fitness classes but does offer a trainer that facilitates different training programs each day. read more

Joined a few months ago for "new year new me 2018" and just made it for the first time a bit after the new year (DJM...). Convenient location in the shopping center with plenty of parking. Got a tee and a bumper sticker for joining. Inside I noticed bright colors, 3 l ong rows of cardio machines, and a long row of big tv's facing all of them. They have dumbells and barbells near the front as well. I was kinda worried about the "anti meathead/judgy" culture here but the vibe seems to be very chill with a good mix of beginners and "fit is life" folks. This is the cleanest gym I have ever been to. Very well maintained and neat. I am a really surprised that the staff lets the guys get away with wearing bodybuilder style tank tops. If you are a guy and workout with sleeves on you are in the minority. I am all for a judgement free zone, but at the same time I came here thinking I would be getting away from the typical meatheads. Oh well, I will put my headphones on and enjoy the clean atmosphere. read more

I can't give it too many stars yet because I haven't worked out here yet but if my review changes, I'm going to assume it'll be an additional star, not less stars. I've been to planet fitness before and worked out but I've never had a tour and I wanted to sign up here because I work across the street. I considered the black card and wanted to know where everything was. So I went and ask the guy for a tour. He was super nice and signed me in and gave me a quick but thorough tour. This place is great. The machines are mostly digital, they have hydromassage and massage chairs (main reason for the black card) and of course all the stuff every other one has. The people were really nice and I'm very pleased with this particular location. Granted, I've never had a bad experience at any planet fitness but this was a step up. Plus I went at lunch time and the place was pretty much empty which is encouraging since that's when I'll be working out. read more

Best price on a gym. Has plenty of cardio machines, not enough weights or weight machines. Always clean and well taken care of. When a machine goes out of order it is fixed quickly. They say it's a judgement free zone, but the gym judges people who they call "lunks". The company is unwelcoming of people who do strength training. Free pizza on every first Monday of the month. The staff is not as invested in their clients as compared to other gyms I've been to. Great for anyone just wanting to a gym to lose weight. Gaining weight maybe difficult for legs because the lack of free weight squat racks and bench press. Overall, a nice gym for a good price, but it depends on your fitness goals. read more

Not overly impressed with the gym, I have been going for years and I am thinking about quitting. I have to say the thing I like the most is that it is open 24 hours and they have tanning. I used to go in the early morning and they had a great staff about a year ago, but since then they have left and the staff has definitely gone down hill. Every time you walk in, they are all clumped behind the desk staring at their phones, never see them cleaning anything or checking equipment. They aren't in any hurry to wait on you when you come to the counter or when you tell them something is broken. I wish they would get a couple of different cardio machines, too many of the same machines. A stepper and maybe a precor or higher incline treadmill would be nice. It would also be nice it they had some ropes, stability balls and a few other things like the Gahanna location. If you want a cheaper alternative for a gym, then this would be the place to go. read more

Though my visits to every location has been a good experience the organization of the corporation as a whole is disappointing. You would expect in 2018 that any place that has invested in an app would also invest in a customer service number so that their locations could focus on the small stuff. It is very difficult to cancel if you can't go to the location in person to cancel. I ended up paying for my ex husbands account because he refused to cancel and it was impossible to get anyone to help me. Had to close my account down so I could stop paying. That is nonsense! It should be vastly easier for a gym that caters to low income. People should be able to leave and come back when life evens out. Because life happens! I will never come back because you didn't care about my money or my satisfaction. Why waste my time? I'll write a review and be done. I love this gym seriously! I used to go to the one on indianola ave but I didn't like it because the people weren't nice and it was very small and crowded. I enjoy this one on dilmont because it's very open and the staff is very friendly they always greet me with a smile and say goodbye with a smile and the best part is this one is actually 24h you know how nice that is?? It's awesome being able to go when I want. It's very clean and to top it all off the people who come here to work out are also extremely nice I've had strangers just help me out so I get a good workout I have been here almost two and a half months and let me tell you I have yet to meet a mean person. I'm a fairly new white card member. I love this place. Transferred here from the YMCA nearer to my house, because of the lack of equipment. The locker rooms are practically spotless, always very clean. The equipment is very clean as well... This place is practically spotless! Lots and lots of equipment, especially cardio equipment. I've never seen so many treadmills in my life! All the most popular machines, they usually have at least 2 of them. Which is awesome, you rarely, if ever, have to wait around for someone to finish up on a machine to get your workout going. Lots of TVs to watch as you run, but no subtitles, which I find confusing and frustrating. Why have TVs up when you can't make out what they're saying? The employees are hit or miss. Some are very nice, some aren't as kind. And they should get on the same page about membership sign ups. One girl told me that my $20 day pass would go into the first two months of my membership card. But when I went to set up my membership the next day, the guy setting me up told me it goes into an activation fee. All in all, great place. I'm very glad I switched to Planet Fitness. read more

Had to cancel my membership today because I am moving to somewhere without any PF locations. Worst customer experience ever. I joined today and was hoping to convince my boyfriend to join. We live nearby. We thought we would head over and he could try out the gym and see if he was interested in a membership. When we arrived we were informed very unfriendly that there was no option to try the gym out before signing up but he could pay $20 for a guest pass for the day. So after the girl was rude to us we were determined to work out so we went home and grabbed $20 to come back. When we got back we were informed it was $20 plus tax....REALLY?? so we still cant work out. I understand policies but really. At this point my boyfriend informed me he did not want to be a member of the gym. I was so disappointed in the attitude of the staff and how we were treated. read more

I have belonged to a handful of gyms over the years, and this one is hands down, my favorite. When reading reviews of other locations to aid in my decision to join, I saw a lot of complaints about the lack of certain types of equipment, and overcrowding. While I know this location is still fairly new, I have yet to see it even remotely crowded. And keeping in mind that the membership is only $10 a month, I have very few complaints about the variety of equipment. They have separate areas for circuit work, which most gyms don't offer. I'm guessing if you are incredibly specific about your workout equipment, you'd be willing to spend a little more on a membership somewhere else. For someone trying to get in some decent cardio and do some overall toning and/or weight loss, there are plenty of machines to choose from. This gym is always impeccably clean, and the staff is really friendly. read more
