So don't be confused if you see duplicates. My experiences with him was as follow.... This was my first time taking a Cab by myself and at 1 AM in the morning. I was nervous and I needed a taxi service that was safe and reliable. Luckily, I went to Yelp and saw two positive reviews for Rockingham Taxi. So now its my turn go back to Yelp to share my experience so it will help others as the last two reviewers did for me. My experience with Rockingham Taxi was completely positive, from the first phone call to being dropped off at the front of my house. I had to change my pickup times several times due to the schedules of C & J bus, and every time the person on the phone was always polite and accommodating. I was nervous that the taxi would be late, since I had a long long fly and couldn't wait to get home. The moment I step off the bus, Rockingham Taxi was already waiting for me in front of the C & J building. The cab driver politely greeted me and helped me with my two very heavy luggages (50 lb and 51 lb). His name is John P. Hopefully I got the first name right. Basically the whole experience with Rockingham Taxi was very smooth. They even take credit card (with the iphone), which is a good thing because I didnt have any cash left. I will definitely use their service again and recommend them to everyone who needs tax service. This would be especially helpful for shipyard employee who are typically placed on weird travel hours and dont want their family members to have to loose sleep from picking them up. This guy kept promising the taxi was coming and after a thirty minute wait he knew we had no other options but to use him. I was staying in Portsmouth so paid the outrageous flat fee of $100 to take my two colleagues to Exeter. The next day I found out this idiot then proceeded to pick up another fair and drop them off which was out of the way and not agreed upon. This is unethical and also extremely dangerous bringing in a stranger we did not agree to. Do not use these guys unless you want to pay 6 bucks a mile. I only pray that Uber becomes more popular there before my next trip back.

When I was scared enough I piped up and asked him to drive safely or let us out. Then he started talking about all his experience and how they help the police sometimes, like to excuse his HORRIBLE driving. Horrible experience. We checked how much an uber would have cost, they quoted us at $31, this guy charged me $65 for the same ride!! When I called I notified the dispatcher that I needed a pick up as soon as possible. He told me it would be 10 minutes . I said I needed to catch a flight and couldn't miss the train, but he told me not to worry. 10 minutes later, there was no one there yet. So I called just to get an update. I was again assured that it would be a few moments and he was in touch with the driver - I believed him, again missing another opportunity to call a new cab. 25 minutes after placing the call, the cab finally shows up (and yes, it was a cute black London cab, with a diamond jubilee flag - but I ordered a cab for functional reasons, not for aesthetics) and we pull up at the train station just in time to see it pulling away. I was annoyed - for good reason. And I was honest about that fact and said I would have appreciated a realistic response to the amount of time it would take after calling (there was no traffic excuse). The driver clearly needs some customer service lessons, because her response was that "This ain't New York" and that I was the "first jerk" she'd ever had ride in her cab. It's a good thing the next train doesn't leave for 2 hours, since I'll need the time to rebook my flight.

It was just what we needed to get our son home from a trip to Japan back to college from Logan Airport after midnight. We weren't able to make the trip to Logan to give him the ride ourselves, so we had to find a reliable and trustworthy way to get him back to campus, and I'm so glad we found Regal Coach Boston. The owner was responsive and gave his personal assurance that all would work out well, and it did. The driver contacted our son and us while he waited to meet our son at the terminal, and made it very easy to connect, even though my son's flight was delayed. We are very appreciative.
