While there, they were extremely thorough, taking time to go through the girl's hair with care, precision, repetition, and an abundance of thoroughness. They took time when explaining each step of the process, as well as continued care, to ensure the lice were gone. They also offer a free recheck within 14 days which is a bonus. What a relief!!! Omg, one thing you don't want is the news that you have head lice. I work at a school, and it was embarrassing to know that as a teacher I got them. But Levia totally made the whole ordeal as stress free as possible! I called their main number that hooked me up with someone from my area. Pangla came out to my house. Luckily I was in the beginning stages and had a very small problem. She carefully checked everyone's head in the home and then began treatment. I was relieved I was the only one that needed it. I was able the night before to get rid of any sign of the adult lice by doing the mayo method. (Google instructions-super easy). However, the tough part is getting out all the nits. We had been using over the counter treatments such as Rid and even tried different home remedies, but none of them managed to completely kill the head lice AND nits (eggs). I reached a point where I didn't know what to do anymore as I simply did not know how to get rid of them.   I then looked up "lice removal service" through Yelp and reviewed a few of them - I chose LEVIA because they sounded like the most comprehensive lice treatment, and at that point I didn't want to take any chances, especially since I was paying. We had lice years ago and did the whole at home remedies and it didn't work. We then ended up going to some place near us in Berkeley that has since closed down and it got rid of the lice real quick. Cut to a month ago and we had lice, the whole fam... FUN! We called around and Lice Free was able to get us in the next morning and rid us of our lice in about an hour (and I have some thick, long hair). They start by combing out the nits and lice. They then put in this spray, they put ya under a heat lamp, and then they comb it out once more. Boom. They sold us what is some probably over-priced oil that we did a few times over the next few weeks. My head was itching abbot 3 weeks later and they told me that if I don't see a live bug, I'm good. However, I went in for the check-up regardless, and sure enough no lice. The check-up did cost $20, but is not charged if you indeed have lice, in which they give you a free treatment. *Within 30 days, I believe.
