Woke up this morning and the family all agreed that our heads had been itchy for quite some time. Figured we'd check each other for "you guessed it"..... lice! (Well, we did) Called Lice Free right then and there and fit myself and my family in less then 2 hrs. Needless to say the staff was great and totally took care of us. We were in and out in less then 1 hr. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommended.

As is the owner Cindy and her husband who also answer the phones and are always very helpful and accommodating. The dehydrating technology they have is like a blower but is super effective and although the price is rather steep it's got an iron clad 30day insurance that they honor very well. They use top of the line products and are very affordable. I hope to never have to come back but am very grateful this business exists.

Today I brought my 5 year old here since her school refuses to check kids for lice my daughter payed the consequences and now has lice. I did not know what I was going to do since I've never had to deal with this. Lucky I did my search and this lice clinic came to the rescue. The hole family got checked and well turns out the my daughter was the only one with lice. It's not taking long for them to take them all out the ladies here are so nice and very professional if anybody wants to come please do so checking your kids for lice helps them out a lot since it freaks them out finding out they have bugs in there head. These lady's shared a lot of helpful information on how to maintain my daughters hair on going and well I'm happy to say that I will be talking to my daughters school about this so every kid could get checked

Lice is THE WORST. If you are reading this, I'm so sorry for your itchy troubles. Ok, but Lice Free Clinics is the best. 1 hr, $200ish/per person later and they be gone. We had lice years ago and did the whole at home remedies and it didn't work. We then ended up going to some place near us in Berkeley that has since closed down and it got rid of the lice real quick. Cut to a month ago and we had lice, the whole fam... FUN! We called around and Lice Free was able to get us in the next morning and rid us of our lice in about an hour (and I have some thick, long hair). They start by combing out the nits and lice. They then put in this spray, they put ya under a heat lamp, and then they comb it out once more. Boom. They sold us what is some probably over-priced oil that we did a few times over the next few weeks. My head was itching abbot 3 weeks later and they told me that if I don't see a live bug, I'm good. However, I went in for the check-up regardless, and sure enough no lice. The check-up did cost $20, but is not charged if you indeed have lice, in which they give you a free treatment. *Within 30 days, I believe. read more

One of my worst nightmares was to get lice and it finally happened when my daughter brought them home from preschool and then gifted them to me. We were able to get an appointment the same day I discovered the lice. I have very thick hair and was worried that Luz wouldn't be able to get them all out, but I was lice free after only one treatment! I've been here twice and Luz has been amazing. My oldest daughter is prone to catch lice and it seems to constantly be going around the school. These ladies were super sweet and patient and checked our whole family. Lucky I caught and combed early enough, but they gave great piece of mind. Having lice is devastating. We believe we had it since January or Feb 2024... it's now September.. 4x we tried over the counter shampoos/mouses/gels and it helps but they came back over and over. We finally sought professional help and man we sure wish we did at the first sign of having it. Having this issue can feel humiliating and I'm so grateful we found this clinic. I cannot recommend Lice Free Clinics - Concord enough. After using another service that ultimately failed, the wonderful women at Lice Free Clinics were able to get me in immediately and took care of my family and me. They were lovely and positive and helped alleviate concerns I had. I called for another head check about a week and a half later because I felt my head was itchy - and they fit me in on a day when they were pretty fully booked. I hope I don't have to deal with lice again, but if I do, Luce and her team will be my first call. They are amazing at what they do, and they are lovely humans on top of the excellent service they provide. read more

Made me a believer! I tried OTC treatments for both of my daughters and me initially but the treatments didn't work (and left me with a nasty reaction on my neck for a few days). Frustrated, I went and made an appointment for the entire family and me the same day I found nits in my hair... again. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first but I was desperate to finally get rid of these lice! The team was very efficient in treating my daughters and me - it took about an hour for all 3 of us to be done. And, I'm happy to report that a month later all of us are lice free! I hope that I don't have to deal with this in the future but, if I do, I know what my first choice will be. read more

I tried everything over the counter, but it was not working. I sent a message and received a response the next morning that was very informative and detailed. I scheduled the appointment, and my daughter was seen the same afternoon. The staff was super sweet. It was slightly more expensive than I expected, but it worked the first time. I was able to send a message through Yelp at 1:30pm; by 2:30pm I had an apt booked for 5:30pm SAME DAY after work. The person I messaged and spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable and kind and the actual person who checked my hair was straight forward and to the point while also making me feel at ease. I highly recommend this clinic. I went to bed a little itchy and couldn't sleep all night worrying I had lice. I'm a little paranoid since my kids had lice once before and there is a LOT of hair in our family. Thick. Curly. Long. I messaged through Yelp and they responded immediately. I went in the next morning. The place was extremely clean and Luz was so nice. The time while she did the lice check went by so quickly as she was easy to talk to and so kind and funny. I was amazed at how patient she was when people called DEMANDING appointments asap even when she calmly explained they were booked full. Such grace. Finding out my daughter had head lice was obviously stressful. Especially with a 5 month old to take care of at the same time as trying to deal with removing head lice. I had never seen so many live ones or nits and was overwhelmed with how long it was taking with no end in sight. My sister found this place online and I quickly called. The person making the appt was very nice and informative. I was able to get an appt within two hrs of calling. The technicians were super friendly which made my 9 year old daughter feel way more comfortable. I got my head checked as well as my mother who had close contact with her. They ended up finding some in her hair too so she also received the treatment. It was money well spent! Dealing with head lice is stressful and this place saved the day and took care of the most time consuming and tedious part! Lice-Free Clinics was extremely accommodating. I noticed nits in my daughter's hair at 2pm and they were able to get us in the same day at 4pm. When we arrived, they offered to check the rest of our family and, lo and behold, we were all afflicted. They were able to provide all of us treatments. I remember having lice as a girl, and the treatment was not a fun one. But both technicians were extremely gentle, not to mention super attentive to the kids and I. Highly recommend! read more

My family unfortunately almost all had lice, and all five of us came here to get professionally checked after fruitlessly trying over the counter treatments over the weekend. My sister called me on Saturday morning to tell me her son had lice. I instantly felt my head itching because I had spent the night over her house and slept in his bed a few nights prior. My only reason for not giving us 5 stars is that this process seems overly cumbersome compared to others. For starters, it's a 3 day minimum (although we learned it often takes longer) process and each day you need to meticulously comb through the hair, wash with special shampoo/conditioner AND re-sanitize the sheets and bedding that was used. Every. Single. Day. The treatment does not kill the lice/nits it only stuns them. So essentially it's very likely that this treatment plan will drag on far longer than it would if you went to a clinic or chose something over the counter. My advice: seek a faster/effective treatment solution and save yourself (and your washer and dryer) lots of heartache.

Hello you got lice? This is the place to go the home treatments are no good. My little sister contracted lice from her school and we tried a home treatment at home but the eggs were still there. Luz was amazing and she was called on short notice to come in! Very friendly and talkative which is great because it is a process and she made my sister very comfortable with an iPad my sisters a shy girl. We got the signature treatment and Luz took her time. She was very knowledgeable about lice and how to take care of things at home like furniture and what not. Ask for Luz!! Thank you Luz for getting my sister lice free before Thanksgiving! I have 3 daughters and knew it was just a matter of time that I get the "lice call" from school. The Lice Clinic in Concord was recommended to us, and I am so glad! Luz is wonderful! She's calm, patient, and so sweet with my children. She wiped out the lice in the first visit. I know this, because I took them back for a follow up, and there was no sign of Lice. This place is the BEST! Honestly. Luz was so very sweet with my kids, they have iPads loaded with movies and games, special seats for them, water and juice, the cleanest environment, and the most thorough process. I was very impressed with the quality of service I. Received. It was very thorough and it took the appropriate amount of time. I didn't end up having any lice but I insisted on being treated. Seriously, they are so so so so kind. We left feeling so confident in the treatment that they gave. They even did this super cute hairstyle on my daughter's hair when we went to get rechecked to make sure that it hadn't returned. this turned a bad experience into something not so bad. The staff is very friendly and comforting. They help your child to feel that they are completely normal, as having lice is traumatic for kids. I've had to come here several times, and they get me in same day. They also give you advice on how to care for your child's hair once you leave. It's a very clean, organized clinic. read more
