They didn't have to. But they did. This local, family-owned, veteran-owned business fit me into their schedule for two dozen cupcakes with only a few days' notice. They helped me come up with ideas when I wasn't even sure what I wanted and made the entire process easy. When I arrived, I was completely charmed. The bakery is tucked inside a beautiful historic stone cottage that feels warm, welcoming, and full of personality. The owners are some of the most genuine, down-to-earth people I've met in a long time. Not "good customer service" nice--actually kind people who genuinely care about their customers and community. As I was leaving, they handed me their last fresh cinnamon roll of the day and told me I had to try it. No charge. Just kindness. Who does that anymore? While I was there, I learned they do cakes, cookies, cupcakes, coffee, tea events, and even have a Bridgerton-inspired experience coming up that I'm already planning to attend with my mother-in-law.
