Great store, LOVE all lidls - esp because of the bakery and foreign foods. But JFC the workers her are beyond mean/rude/ checked out/ dead inside. I get that it's not a dream job, I get that you're young. Maybe you lost any semblance of social skills during the pandemic. I suppose part of the training to work at Lidl (or any store, really) needs to be : replying when spoken to! Making eye contact when someone talks to you ! Answer when someone simply says 'hi'. It's super sad that this basic human instinct would have to be TRAINED but I suppose it does. Even if it's a fake 'how are you?' Even if it's a phoned in 'hey' ... it's better than total silence and an inability to even acknowledge another human is present. I should go to self check out. Then I won't expect any niceties.... Be prepared to wait for checkout. I was very happy when Lidl opened in Cherry Hill. Great location, easy to get to from work before heading home. The problem is that lately only two self-checkout lanes are ever open, with one regular checkout lane. Mind you, a big strike against the store is that the self-checkout lanes don't take cash, so if you do want to pay cash, you're only option is to wait in the (usually only) regular checkout lane. And wait... And wait... Today I was paying with plastic, and since there was a line for the regular checkout lane (again, only one open), I went to self checkout. Of the four self-checkout stations, only two were open. One of them was flashing a light, waiting for assistance. When I grabbed an employee to help the customer who needed assistance (since no employee seemed to notice the flashing light), I asked about opening more self-checkout lanes and was told that they can't because they are broken. So I then suggested opening another regular checkout lane. That didn't get any response. Instead, the employee who came over to assist the customer went back to moving sodas from one one of the machines near the self checkout machines to one of the units near an unopened regular checkout lane. Yeah, because that's what's most important. At no point did anyone apologize for the inconvenience of having two self-checkout lanes broken. So if you want to go this store, be sure to block plenty of time on your schedule. read more

Always a dirty trash strewn parking lot! Always. Take 30 minutes a day to pick up the trash! Have some respect for your customers, and the residents of Cherry Hill and the state of NJ. It is the least you can do to make your store attractive to would be shoppers. It is most likely turning away customers. Thousands was most likely spent to install all of the nice landscaping when it was built and it is now covered with trash daily. It Makes no sense. I'm a regular shopper here because their products are good and you do save money but whoever is running this location clearly does not care about the company's image. read more

First time at Lidi and was very pleased with the prices, cleanness and options. Delicious looking donuts, baked goods and fresh bread. Lots of vegetables and fruits. Premade salads, snacks and goodies throughout the store. read more

I got off work at 830pm and decided to get groceries before I went home. Saw that this Lidl location was open until 9pm.. I arrived to the sliding door at 8:46pm to realize they decided to close 15 minutes early (i guess).. An employee came to the entrance and was very rude when I asked why they were closing 14 mins early.. I remained calm and patient stand at least 20ft from the entrance confused by the hostility-- then was yelled at and told the cops would be called on me. For absolutely no reason.. im writing this because this could have been handled much better. Ive worked retail and understand at times its necessary to close early, but the employee was very rude and dismissive. I live in this neighborhood and would like to see better service. I understand the workers would like to get home fast, but some customers only grace period to get groceries are the last 15mins the store will be open. Deciding to close 20mins early just feels very self serving. I hope to see better service in the future. The employee was bold and Caucasian with a grey beard. read more

Aldi is my go to grocery store, so I was super excited when Lidl opened up. After visiting twice, here are some of the things I like; - Lidl App- Coupons & rewards. Downloading this app is a must! - Mini Grocery Carts - perfect for keeping your babe entertained while shopping. - Onsite bakery - the mini pastries are delicious! - Organic products - Lots of organic products throughout the store - everything from fruit to meat to pasta. - Lidl Finds- Always changing and offering unique products that will benefit your house. The only issues I've run into so far are growing pains that I think Lidl will out grow. I'm looking forward to shopping at Lidl more! read more

First time coming here! I loved the bakery section and how the large windows brighten up the store. However, I still prefer Aldi to Lidl. The prices weren't as competitive as I expected and some of the most basic products were brand name only, such as the tomatoes, which made it a little pricier than Aldi. I loved the self-checkout! I'm surrounded by different grocery stores and my go to is usually Wegmans, but that usually means shopping at 7:45 AM on a Sunday morning to avoid the parking lot Thunderdome. And then I checked out Aldi (you know, the store that people like to add an "s" to the name), which was annoying because of the whole having to have a quarter for a shopping cart drama. Like others say, comparing the two is a bit of apples and oranges. Similar style, but I think the quality of food here is just a tad bit better. It feels brighter and cleaner and more modern here. In addition, in the midst of this whole stupid corona virus fear mongering situation going on, I was able to find hand sanitzer for the first time in a week. I wish they opened up a little earlier than 8 AM, but it's nice that it's open til 10 PM. read more

A welcome addition to Cherry Hill. Go shop! Hits: Great selection of organic food. Lots of interesting meats and cheeses. Variety of international Frozen foods and spices. Fresh baked goods Cheap flowers and plants Unlike Aldi, you won't need a quarter to rent a cart. The layout is just like other Lidls, so no hunting for pasta sauce. Lots of open checkout lanes, so you're in and out fast* Misses: The parking lot is a circus because it's so tight. Like Aldi, bring your own bags. The middle section is starting to look like Big Lots or Ollie's after just a few days. *until after the grand opening ends and they only have 1-2 lanes open. Location: Convenient to both 38 and 70 via Cuthbert. Right next to the Wawa on westbound 38. Overall: I'd go back. It's my tenth Lidl and love the brand. read more

To start, I must say that this store is very organized (hopefully it'll stay this way). At the entrance, there are shopping carts (even miniature carts for the children to 'shop' with). It has an assortment of organic foods and fresh produce. There's a plants/floral section as well. The small fresh bakery section is quite nice, as the prices are fair and the goods are fresh. As I browsed the store, I noticed a mixture of familiar brands and off-brands. Nonetheless, I look forward to shopping here again. read more

No stars. This place is the absolute worst place to shop. I went to buy something and because of a system glitch at the register, they refused to sell me a product that was on the shelves with a price clearly marked. The clerks were rude and had no idea how to fix it. I asked for a manager and was told that there was no manager because it was a Sunday. I will NEVER shop there again. read more

I've gone a couple times into Lidl only to find that their mechanical carts are never charged. I usually go throughout the morning about 1030 to do my shopping. This is very sad for the disabled community that we cannot rely on these carts to do our shopping. read more

Another very middle of the road European supermarket. Not a Carrefour by any means. Prices are good on many items, high on some others. Checkout is a disaster. There was one poor kid who was the only cashier and was helping at the self checkout lines. Simply not a very tight operation for a Saturday afternoon. If I need something and I am right there, I will probably stop in. I certainly won't build my weekly shopping around Lidl. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this store. I love that it's clean and has a machine that actually keeps track of how many customers are in the store for safety purposes, hand sanitizer also available, but no wipes to clean the carts . I think the prices are decent and here in the Pennsauken area we don't have to many stores to shop at. Now it's down falls, so many things that are put out on floor displays are not priced. I don't want to have to search for the items prices and in this store that means also trying to find someone who works there! Also don't even get me started on the line! Yes line, as in single only ever one open! Now if you are paying with a card you can do self checkout (however they don't ever wipe those things down!) but us old school cash people are screwed! Also either bring your own bags if you've never been here before or you can purchase them for a small price (this is a feature I like). read more

Great store for basics. I'm happy with the meats and cheese and frozen fish. I don't really buy prepared foods, so I can't really speak to that except to say that they have a lot of frozen foods. The produce section seems a bit heavy on the cut/ prepared fruits and veggies. I think that's the trend now. The star of the store is the bakery. Don't forget to pick up a baguette or two. read more

I feel this store has a lot of unused potential. It's not very large, to start, so you don't have a lot of variety of choice. Many of the items are exclusively Lidl-brand. I'm not necessarily against store brands but find their quality to be hit-or-miss. The produce aisle is a joke, very little selection and then many items are bagged so, for instance, you can't buy just one onion but forced to buy four. Three aisles are devoted to nonsense like garden tools and sweatpants, like it's a baby BJ's. Great rid of that stuff and add more food products and it would be way better. One end of the parking lot has no cart corral so you can imagine what that looks like. Prices were decent but they don't supply bags so I had to buy a reusable Lidl bag for $1. Not that I'll reuse it because this is my first and last time here. read more
