Rather than sending the hat back so they could replace the fedora with an affixed pin, I called Hattitude and spoke with Jib, who said to bring the hat in. When I arrived, Jib gave me some history on hat pins and noticed that the fedora contained a glued-in feather, so the feather could not be switched out. Jib was pleasant and highly knowledgeable, and the store had a solid selection of hats, including Stetson and Bailey fedoras. Jib inserted my pin, which didn't appear easy, but she knew what she was doing. She didn't charge me anything, either. I recommend checking out their hat selection, and I am confident that if Jib is there, she has the knowledge to help you with any inquiries you have.

We had bought 2 custom hats years ago and have always kept them in our minds. Mine is s custom "Wyatt Earp" style with a larger than usual brim and it is my all time favorite hat, out of at least 20 hat's I own. The other is a. custom traditional ""Cattlemen's" style. Both of these hat's have personalization in them as far as interior silk lining and leather banding with our names; and we were part of the entire decision process. Today we went in to talk about getting a custom "Top Hat" style for me. I.did end up getting a Top Hat right away because they happen to have one in a color I liked and it was the correct size!
