My husband bought two A's shirts over the weekend, but one is a little tight on him. We noticed it's probably because it's Fruit of the Loom rather than the more premium Glidan brand. We decided to drive across town to Old Sac to exchange it today (Tuesday). Unfortunately, the store was closed. This was around 11:45am. Google lists the hours as 10:00am-7:00pm. There are no hours listed on the door. I tried calling to see if there was a message about being closed or an emergency, but there was none and the voicemail is full. We waited around until 12:30pm, but there was no sign of the store opening. The end result is we spent money at other stores and then headed home. I'm sure if they had been open my husband would have exchanged his item and also bought something else.

The store is very nicely laid out with vig and tall styles from shkrts and t sgirts up to polos, slacks, suits and ties. The val working was very nice, helpful and had great suggestions all in a low sales pressure way which I appreciated. They have a service where you can go i to the dressing room and get scanned for the best fitting sizes for your body. I did find some nice options for full suits at what seems to me a very reasonable price compared to what I found in other stores and on line. The other items, shorts, shirts are priced comparable to other big and tall stores, and they have a bice clearance section and decent sales.

The front entrance area is as good as all the other storefronts in the Delta Shores Shopping Center--nice, clean, and up-to-date storefront. The store inside still looks pretty much like those older stores in the 90s. It is the same as Famous Footwear 20-30 years ago! Basic interior designs. It feels like I'd walked into a warehouse! They carry a wide selection of all kinds of shoes. But the display wasn't very attractive. I'm sure they will have lots more customers who like to shop there if they can improve their showroom. Maybe they want to let people feel the shoes they sell are the lowest priced. But I don't think they have to make the store look cheap as the same way!

I'm an old school Italian-American New York City born and raised clothes horse. Always well dressed and groomed. There are no board shorts in my walk-in closet. So with those bona fides I know good clothes from bad. My declaration about this Nordstrom Rack is that it has the most, varied and well priced men's clothes of all the stores in northern California. I've been to the "Racks" in San Francisco, Folsom, Vacaville, Corte Madera, Novato, and my old home town of Santa Rosa Sonoma county. This Howe Ave. store almost shocked me with the bountiful inventory. It took me 45 minutes to speed browse all of the displays. Granted there is a lot of name brand crap that is made in China. But diamonds in the rough can be found. I saw a small number of clothes made in the USA, Italy, France, Canada - You know the good stuff. The one and only disappointment is the shoe department. It's 80% athletic sneakers, running, trail, basketball, etc models. For a moment I though that I was in a Nike outlet. The kind'a shoes I wear, real leather, casual to dressy are in short supply. So I'm almost tempted to rate this store only 4 Yelp stars. But I'll get over myself here. So guys, if you are trying to up your career, work at a higher capacity and pay grade level, improve your clothes style game.
