    Avocado Toast with Egg
    Nelson M.

Well I stopped in this morning to check out a little family owned cafe in my local area I had been meaning to check k out for awhile. It his is a very quaint little coffee shop that offers barista style drinks, some limited breakfast and lunch items and soma pastries and baked goods as well. They are super friendly and the service was excellent. I had a latte and an avocado toast that were not very good. I love local family businesses and always try to support them whenever possible. So if you are in the area and are looking for some coffee and something light to eat, you should really check them out. I don't think you will be disappointed. More importantly their prices are reasonable! Wishing you all a wonderful day! Enjoy and bon appétit mes amis!

Very nice coffee spot! Good amount of parking, the woman taking orders was friendly. The food runner was even nicer, very sweet guy. I had the teddy iced latte with cinnamon! Super smooth and great quality coffee. The avocado toast was delicious! It had so much flavor and the feta added a nice salt to the sweet sour dough and avocado. Their major downfall is the wait time. I had to wait over 25 minutes to get my coffee (I got my toast first which is kind of crazy). The woman who ordered before me had to leave empty handed because she was with her toddler and the wait was too long. I hope they are able to purchase a second espresso machine or hire more staff because they wont be able to last long with these wait times. But i hope they do because it was amazing quality!! It was so nice reading the bible verses while i was in line and i love the decor. God bless!

New coffee spot ALERT! The food was absolutely delicious. We stopped by for some breakfast, coffee and dessert and you can tell they use whole organic ingredients in all of their dishes. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and Victoria made sure to give us a warm welcome and thanked us for coming by. We found this spot through a tik tok post showcasing some of their menu items. The vibe is friendly and warm and we loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. Laid back music and modern farmhouse feel, perfect for a weekend brunch date. I can't wait to come back again and try different menu items.

I love that I have a Christian coffee shop close to home now! Felt welcome by all the employees. Stephanie gave great recommendations for coffee based on my preferences! Loved my coffee that was recommended! Will come back again!

The decor is fun with vibrant pink lighting, a grass wall for pictures, and vintage arcade games that my son and husband quickly helped themselves to. The creation process was fun and lets you pick up to 3 different mix in cereals. I liked that there are so many add-ins they allow off the bat that you really don't need to pay for so many extra add-ins as it would be overkill. My son created an ice cream out of his three favorite cereals, I went with a pre-made ice cream and my husband went with a shake so I was able to try both. The ice cream was super fun and did not disappoint. I thought there would be chunks of cereal mixed into ice cream but I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong as it was blended into the ice cream. My husband LOVED his shake and went home saying he was ready to go back for another. The employees were extremely kind and the serving station was clean as was the rest of the place. My school often does fundraisers with Milky Ways and they're very accommodating and easy to work with. Definitely a fun place to try if you're looking for a twist on something sweet.

(And outside the door a couple minutes after 12), so we were ready to dig in lol! My child ordered the strawberry ice cream and regular cone, and I had El Mani Loco (vanilla with peanut butter cups and nutter butters) with the waffle cone. (My child's ice cream we eventually moved to a cup when it started melting a ton, and we added sprinkles!) I liked how the flavors were unique and Cuban themed, but I did feel a bit of pressure to read fast and order since another family had arrived to wait outside too and were right behind us. But I guess that speaks to there being a large selection, especially of their unique flavors. I thought the ice cream was good, and overall the place had the feel of a typical ice cream parlor. I liked the ambiance and decor, though, with the colorful ice cream cone chandelier and the mural of Celia Cruz. The bench in the back was also made of a variety of Cuban guayabera shirts encased in plastic which I thought was a cool touch. The walls were also made of chalkboard, and there was a bucket of chalk that my child was able to use to draw in the walls which was a nice addition and made our ice cream trip more fun. Overall, the restaurant (and bathroom) were very clean. The service was fine - not bad but not super friendly. We'll likely be back at some point since the Pinecrest location (on U.S. 1, about a mile from Target) is convenient for us.

The night I spent here, however, was not so sweet... I visited the establishment in hopes of a delicious treat and instead left overcharged with freezer burnt scoops and regret. Poor guy serving the scoops was friendly but clearly didn't know math when ringing customers up or how to properly manage his dairy products. From a taste perspective, that ice cream was horrible (odd because it's usually okay here) but food safety wise? Extremely unsafe. You know what they say about thawing food out and then refreezing it in a public establishment? Don't do it. Why? Risks of salmonella, E. coli, and much worse... a soiled palette! Not to mention lawsuits... Also, the sprinkles were improperly stored, they were out of toppings like chocolate syrup, they had no bottled cokes or waters, and the place had a creepy Elmo figurine dangling from the wall like it was his first and last breath on Earth. Don't even get me started on the ant-ridden benches and seatings. Overall, really poor ice cream quality, overcharged by mistake but there's no way this guy didn't know his scoops were freezer-charred. Do not recommend at all unless you want to develop chronic IBS for the first time. 0/10

Got a single scoop as I had just finished a pretty big dinner. They serve the cup topped with a simple cone. And it just tasted delicious. The greatest girl at the counter did not offer us tastes so I don't know if that is available, but I would've liked to try some of the other flavors for future reference. One of the standouts about this particular dessert is that is lower calorie and low and fat compared to other ice creams. It does not seem to sacrifice any taste to do that. Strictly because of the flavor options, I would not put this at the top of my list of go to ice cream places as there are countless choices nearby, but it is certainly a place that I will visit again when I'm in the neighborhood and craving a delicious cold ice cream treat.
