By far the cleanest studio that I have ever been to- especially for hot yoga where you need to…read moreconcentrate on other things, like breathing and feeling comfortable. Hygiene is not a question here. They clean after every single class. And they even frequently clean their blocks!! Variation.I love Kelly and Amanda. I have tried out many of the teachers but I was continually impressed by how much homework they put in to changing up every week completely. Every class is challenging, different and energetic. Music. Is great. I have practiced in silence, to reggae (which is super fun), and to folk music (yawn) and you guys always put on a good and invigorating collection of music without overplaying any 1 song. I know that must take a lot of your time researching and compiling, so thank you for the effort. It shows. Lavender towels always at the end. Some studios don't have them. Some instructors forget to bring them out. But never with you guys...My god why else would I work so hard?

Starting yoga at age 58 was a bit scary given my poor flexibility, but the experience has been peaceful and joyful at the same time. Thank you to all the friendly and talented teachers whose patience and encouragement have brought me this far.

Beware of unauthorized charges! I purchased a 3 month membership to this barre studio. I chose this…read moreperiod of time because I knew I'd be moving soon. They charged me for a 4th month without my consent. When I contacted them for a refund (via phone, email, and social media) they waited TEN days to respond and then didn't honor my request for a refund. They claimed they sent me an email in May saying that my membership would automatically renew unless I contacted them and requested otherwise. I had zero email communication from their studio stating this bizarre policy. Also, what is the point of selecting a 3 month membership if it will continue auto renewing forever? I had to contact my credit card company and they've filed a claim against them. Although I enjoyed the workouts, I can't recommend a fitness center with unethical business practices.

Finally, I've found my yoga studio! After trying out many classes all over the area, Southern Barre…read moreintroduced me to their Yoga Flow practice. Their specialty is Barre, yet I've attended many specialty classes such as Tap N Power and Barre Boot Camp. However, Yoga Flow is my definite favorite by far. Calli's classes are challenging, yet comforting, and she always pushes us to try just a bit more and strive for constant improvement. You'll love her spirit and care for her classmates, which is why I keep coming back. Tip: they usually run summer month long specials for educators and flexible class packages for everyone.

This gym took a turn for the worse when the new management took over. There has been a complete…read morelack of communication to the members about if the gym is open or not during COVID-19. I personally texted Tomm, the manager, asking if the gym was open and his response was "Have you seen the news?" implying, No. then after getting charged for two months of not using the facility I texted again asking if there was a plan for roping and if we were going to be refunded for the two months and he responded saying that they stayed open and there was no way to tell even member. now that I have moved out of town I am trying to cancel my membership and there is no phone number to call listed anywhere other than Tomm's and he has said that he can't end it I have to call "them"... whoever "they" are.... Please read the texts... its actually quite comical. a year ago I would have given this place a 5 star rating... now I would hope this place shut down.

New management looked to be cool. Got to meet them talk to them and felt things would continue to…read morebe work smoothly. Then on 10 August, after I finished my workout and my buddy had 2 sets left to finish his, the main manager asked me to approach and asked me not to train him. I told him I wasn't, I was simply waiting in him up finish his workout. Main Management reiterated I can't train my buddy, but that we could workout together. I explained I wasn't training him I was with him (he was my ride) and I was simply waiting on him to finish. After I spoke with that manager, and we smiled and laughed a bit parted from him and I continued to wait on my buddy to finish his workout. I stood by my buddy, made sure not to talk to him about any gym stuff in case any of the other guys that work there might be listening. Another of the gym owners approached and asked if I was training my buddy. I said no, that I was watching soccer on the TV and waiting on him to finish his workout so we could go. This guy seemed nicer and was more than likely taking orders from the main owner. After we told this nicer owner what the situation was, he seemed to be ok with it as he said nothing more, but here came the main owner telling me I had to leave, that no one can be in the gym for 'free'. I told him that I'm not training my buddy, I told him I can't go anywhere since my buddy is my ride and that there's nothing free about this since we both pay for our membership. That's when he told me to leave and things got heated. My buddy tried to calm things down and explain we're together, that I'm not a certified trainer, that I'm not receiving payment from him because I'm not training him. He also added that when the gym opened its doors for the first time, we're one of the founding members. The main manager said he couldn't care less because none of that matters. In front of the entire gym, this main manager man accused, without a single shred of evidence, that I was doing something I clearly wasn't. I told him this was unacceptable and we were going to cancel our membership because it was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for to be accused of things. I understand where the manager is coming from. Before him, people who didn't pay a membership would come in all the time. This includes personal trainers the members would bring in with them to have these trainers train them. I get it, no one wants their business to suffer due to unchecked people coming in and out. And that's where this new main manager ignored everything we said when we explained that: 1) I finished my workout early 2). We're here together as friends and he's my ride 3). The only 'waiting' area that used to exist they got rid of it As we left, we traded insults and the main manager followed us out and threatened us with physical violence. Seriously? This is the kind of treatment ownership of an establishment of any kind, treats long lasting members? When Jesse owned the gym, it was good, but not perfect. When Tom became the managing partner with Jesse, it was better but not perfect. With this new manager, the place has become unprofessional and hostile. I could see his veins in his head and neck and he got angry so quickly, he must still have steroids going through his system. If you're looking for a gym, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Because if you're working out with someone and you finish your own routine, they will ask you to step out of the gym because if you're not lifting you're using their gym for 'free". Honestly if the membership were free under this new manager, it's overpriced.
