Hubert's carries from the ubiquitous, working class-styled Carhart, all the way to Kühl and Patagonia. Anna's their show selection is just as varied. Service at any of the Huberts is superb. The manager, Bernie, is just an absolute legend in service. In just about any holiday, Hubert's sets up a tent outside the store with some amazing deals. And these can be incredibly good deals and savings. Additionally, Hubert's honors the service of our military people by honoring a discount upon presentation of a military ID. A gem of a place!!!

Since I was visiting from NJ, that was not happening. As I entered Gondwana, I received a warm welcome & was showered with hospitality. Not only did I find a colorful selection of silk dresses & accessories, I also found the most stylish, comfortable clothing I can live in & feel great about wearing. As a final touch, I received a hand-written note from Jackie thanking me asking if she could do anything else to help assist me. This first-class personable service is hard to find. We purchased a sweater that was marked down and on the tag it has sweater VNK PNL hole. I should have realized that meant PIn hole, but did not. The employee did not alert us at the time of purchase. I took the sweater back and gave them a heads up that I would be purchasing something else of much greater value, but they only offered to have it fixed. I understand that was a fairly reasonable offer, but this was a present for someone to be given tomorrow. The manager seems short sighted given the option to make a sale of three times the value, they would rather upset me for $50 and the conviction not to return. As most of America are aware, mall culture is dying across the nation. Powerhouse Mall hasn't been…read morespared from this plight. Inside is a well maintained and clean atmosphere. The mall is not completely desolate, as they are redoing the tiles on the floor, and there are still some shops open for business. However, most of the places are available for lease. Each time I return to the mall, most of the shops I remember from previous visits are no longer there. I must give Powerhouse Mall credit for hosting local fairs, having a hair salon, gym, random clothing boutiques, and an L.L. Bean store and outdoor gear store. They are still trying to maintain the nostalgic 2000s mall culture. Also they have beautiful decorations for Christmas. I really hope Powerhouse Mall survives and finds its way back to thriving like I'm sure it did not that long ago.
