There so many thoughtful touches, a pathway for my dads wheelchair, mulch barriers from my neighbors wild flowers, storage for our kayaks. The transformation was huge, it's like a whole new house. Gairy was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and very responsive throughout the process. Pricing was also very reasonable for the amount of work completed. We're extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend them.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.

I wanted to finish the plantings, so I suggested we look at other ideas. We went back and forth many times, he suggesting some, me saying no, and vice versa. Then I began to get complaints--things like, "I'm running out of ideas", or my favorite "This is taking up more time than my $10,000 and $20,000 jobs I have scheduled, and I can't make any money." As the home owner, I have the right to have a garden that I will enjoy, so who wants to hear complaints from someone that you hire? We eventually finalized everything, and set a date. His crew was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job--garden looks great. They solved my drainage problem, so I no longer had the threat of water destroying my plants. That was the initial plantings. The crew that came in to finish the 2nd set of plants wasn't so hot. They neglected to put down mulch, and living in the South, you have to have it, so I had to buy it myself and spread it. I asked them about it, and they said Nick said not to--mystery to me. This is not the cheapest landscaping company in Charlotte NC, but they had such grand reviews, I decided to go with them. I'm hoping I can make my garden grow, as I've not had luck in the past, but I'm not even going to bother asking for replacements if some of them die, as the 1-year warranty is iron clad with watering requirements, pest control, soil issues, etc.

We were in a bind and needed help quickly. Two companies who were working on installing cables in…read morethe area really messed up our irrigation system near the backflow device and our main water line. While this wasn't intentionally done, and they tried to do some things to help restore our water, unfortunately the people who did the work lacked the expertise to complete the job. We needed someone before the hole was closed and work completed. The backflow device, which by itself is an expensive piece to replace, was toast. Our irrigation system was completely cut off. We called our plumber, All Hours Plumbing, who referred us to Blue2Green. Micheal and his associate sized up the situation and not only replaced the backflow device, but also rerouted the pipes, simplifying the arrangement and adding a new cut-off valve. His charge was very reasonable, considering the effort involved, all the parts, and what he did to straighten out the problem. What I ended up with was in my opinion a work of art. I will continue to use him for all our irrigation needs. I highly recommend his services. If you need a professional for any irrigation problem I suggest you contact Blue2Green.
