My experience working with MC Granite was very positive overall. From the initial meeting with Spencer, to the technician coming out to do professional measurements to the team that did the final installation of my countertops, everything was done with the upmost respect and care. I will start by saying I am a very detail oriented person and don't tolerate poor workmanship. However the team at MC granite has met all my expectations and more. 1) Very professional from picking out the granite to the install. Called before they arrived and arrived during their window. The office also was easy to reach and returned all my phone calls. 2) Big shoutout to Jose and his install team. They did a terrific job with every detail. I inspected every seam and was very impressed with their precision and attention to detail. They even swept the floor after they were done. Can't say enough good things about Jose and his team. 3) Good pricing and very honest. I actually got a quote for 90 square feet of space based on another companies measurement but after they measured and templated, they got 88 and they adjusted the price accordingly. The granite is nice but the seem isn't great and what really was aweful was that once the installers arrived and got half way done, told me that they had to do the cut out for my cooktop IN THE HOUSE! Do you know how much dust this creates? I contacted Spenser and he seemed to care less. They had no way to protect my home, dishes, food, etc and I had to put up sheets all around my kitchen to try and contain the dust. It didn't help as we now have a layer of dust throughout the home! And my expensive, auto-easy close drawers no longer close easy! I wiped them all down but found that when they put the drawers back they broke a piece off. The installers didn't even tell us. It's funny how they are very nice until the moment you pay them! I had driven up there (45 minutes) to see the layout the day before the install. When I got home Spenser called me to say they needed my sink to measure it or they couldn't do the install. I asked why this was never mentioned to me previously or even that morning but he simply said the guys who came out to do the templates told me. They did NOT and if they did; don't you think I would have brought it with me? There was no apology and in fact, the opposite! hSpenser took the side of his worker and again repeated I was told. Unfortunately we are very dissatisfied with our countertops. I selected this company based on its positive reviews and at first the process was great. They held our slabs for us for an extended amount of time and the rep was very responsive throughout the entire process. I couldn't have been more pleased. Then our slabs got installed. To give a little bit of info, we selected a pre-honed slab for the bathrooms and a glossy slab for the kitchen. They told us they could hone the slab but I had no idea what that entailed. Basically they used a hand tool to hone the slab and you could see ALL of the swirls marks. We sent photos to them and they sent out a few guys who then proceeded to dump a bunch of vinegar over our entire 10' kitchen island slab. They then asked me if that was better. Which of course it wasn't, you just rubbed vinegar over the slab.. that was not a fix for machinery marks on marble. They then wanted to rip out the slab and bring it back to the warehouse to give it a second shot and fix it but that wasn't an options for us for we were trying to get occupancy and what's to guarantee they wouldn't have messed up our cabinets in the process. Everything had gone terribly wrong with our build so we weren't trusting this as an option. We then consulted a professional and they said we needed a restoration company to come in to fix it. After that info we tried to settle by getting our honing fee reimbursed but they stopped responding to us and this was never resolved. So now our once beautiful piece of expensive marble has a bunch of swirl marks in it. It bothers me every time I look at it. Also, none of our backsplashes were sealed against the wall and we had to call them back out to do that. Needless to say, I would just like the reimbursement of whatever it would cost us to get this fixed by a restoration company and then the amount it will cost to get it resealed. That seems reasonable considering how much we paid for this slab, only to end up with crap. read more

I discovered MC Granite by conducting a search for "quartz countertop installers" on Google. My initial phone call and several follow up calls to MC was with Spencer and Viviana. Whenever I would ask for something, Spencer satisfied my request in a timely manner. My experience with other companies during the estimate process was not nearly as satisfying. Spencer is a person any company would want as the point person or face of the company. I cannot say enough about the service he provided. Viviana exemplified the same eagerness and competency when it came to assisting me and my wife in selecting our quartz slabs. She made sure that we were comfortable with our decisions. Another great employee! The installers were professional, friendly, conscientious and left our kitchen spotless. Our experience was fantastic; and on top of it all, MC was the lower of the three estimates that I secured. Give them a call because you have nothing to lose. read more

We had counter tops installed in every bathroom and kitchen in our house. In one of our bathrooms the seal and completely cracked against the wall and they forgot to apply the sealer on the back splash. You would think after spending thousands of dollars it would be a quality service. We called and have tried to get them to come and repair the work and they set us up with a service appointment that Spencer told us a window of 11-12 pm on Saturday. As 12pm came around I called them and they said the guys were still at another job. Spoke to Robert who said they probably not get to you today. Great so I wasted my whole Saturday waiting for a repair that should have been done correctly the first time. On Saturday I ended up calling YOU to find out what time you would be arriving and you didn't have an answer. I was also informed by Robert that you could come at 5pm and then I was told that's not possible. There is no communication with the 3 people that work there. read more

I'm so happy I decided to go look at MC Granite's selection of stone. I googled many granite places around Charlotte, but the unique selection and sample pictures I found on their website pushed me to go take a look. I had been to two other places and left very disappointed and stressed. But Robert at MC helped me out right away. This was my first time ever looking at granite, I didn't know much. He was extremely knowledgeable about the stone and helped me pick out my dream countertops, which ended up being the most beautiful piece of leathered quartzite. Robert helped me with every detail, from picking out the perfect slab, to how the edges could be shaped. He and all of the staff with were easy to talk to and worked with me and my budget. The appointment for the measurements and install went flawlessly as well. The guys were professional, called to say they were on their way, worked fast, and cleaned up. I will never do business with this company again! They forgot to schedule a second appt. to have the kitchen measurements done for the granite. I had to take a whole day off work at the last minute the day before the Saturday install. Then the installers ran out of caulking and didn't go to the store 10 minutes away so they could come back and finish the job. They just left my house! Afterwards, they compounded the problem by drafting $908 from my checking acct that I didn't owe and didn't warn me first. It took 5 business days to get my money back. Then I asked for an invoice for the sink drop-in plumber fee several times within 2 weeks for the plumber they recommended and didn't receive it. I kept being told they would send the invoice the same day. I finally drove over 20 miles one way out of my way last Saturday to get the invoice. They blamed it on the accounting dept. because the cash had been drafted from my account in error a week after the full install price had already been paid. I was told that they "they're going to see what they can do for me since I had such a bad experience". I am still waiting for that call back a week later....you decide... read more
