I called the Smile Design office in need of an emergency visit. I was in tremendous pain and my mouth and jaw were beginning to swell. The receptionist, Rosie,was very accomodating and found a way to get me in right away. I was seen first by hygienist Elza Ikhsanova who carefully did x rays on my inflamed mouth and teeth and then by Dr. Corey Jensen. Smile Design Dentistry has state of the art technology and Dr. Jensen was able to see how serious infected and inflamed tooth was. He immediately got to work on multiple phone calls to other colleagues to find a specialist who could see me that day. The billing person, Dawn, took the time to carefully explain to me the cost of the procedure I would be having and how much my insurance would cover. In total I saw 5 members of the Smile Design team; Rosie, Elza, Corey, Dawn and Mary. They were all compassionate and highly professional. Smile Design has been recognized by both Mpls/St Paul Magazine and Minnesota Monthly Magazine in their "Top Dentist " polls. Dr. Corey Jensen is in the Top Dentist Hall of Fame . I recently visited Smile Design Dentistry in Plymouth, MN. While my interactions with the dental staff were positive, I encountered significant issues with the office manager and billing representative. Their approach felt more like an interrogation than a professional discussion. Despite my efforts to ask clear questions about billing, I received vague and unhelpful answers, necessitating a more assertive stance to obtain straightforward information. Their demeanor appeared unreasonably rigid, and upon reviewing the costs of the procedures, it became evident that a substantial portion might be allocated to their extensive marketing efforts. Consequently, I have decided not to return to this practice. This experience serves as a reminder that one negative aspect can overshadow an otherwise positive environment. read more

I have been coming to Smile Design Dentistry when it originally was in Brooklyn Park before moving to Plymouth. For over 35 years. Sue has been my hygienist for the entire time and she is fantastic. Dr Jensen has been my doctor for just about as long. I have always been very pleased with the work and how they interact with me. Mary, at the front desk is also great. I have never been disappointed by anyone I have interacted with. I wouldn't have been coming back for 35 years if I wasn't extremely satisfied with the doctors, staff and my dental care. read more

I had chipped a tooth Saturday evening. We called "Smile Design" office number and our phone call was routed to Dr. Moore's phone where we left a message explaining my situation. Within an hour Dr. Moore called me back and he set up an appointment for me to be seen by 9:00 AM. Monday.
