I've been to so many LifeLabs, I've lost count. But BY FAR, this is the absolute best site, hands…read moredown. Here are the reasons: -efficiency. They are appointment-based only. No walk-ins. So you are assured a spot and a time, with minimal waiting. -large and bright office, and impeccably clean. -FREE WI-FI. (This is a real rarity at other lab sites). -more services are offered here than at many other LifeLab sites. Examples: EKG's, cardiac holder monitors, etc. -Professionalism of staff. A female checked me in (I didn't get her name) and although she was somewhat aloof, she was thorough and organized and I had zero wait time. My tech was Ian and he was phenomenal. I have had to get cardiac monitors and EKG's frequently and he was the most thorough when it came to instructions and, wow, they even provide you with a mesh "vest" over the monitor (I never got that before, and it made a huge difference in comfort level and stability). And even upon returning the following day, the staff here remembered me and the whole "disconnect and drop-off" experience was, dare I say, pleasant. My experiences at this site were unlike any I've had at other LifeLabs, and this will be the only site I go to from here on in, for sure.

Easy park paid parking for $5 per hour is a bit expensive for Richmond but other than that it's one of the Life Labs that you can find appointments much easier than other locations.

There's free parking in a lot just on the north side of the lab. They have about 6 "rooms" for collecting blood samples, etc, plus a couple of larger rooms for EKG's, etc. and, 2 washrooms for harvesting urine samples, etc. About the only negative is that it can get very busy here, with substantial wait times during peak periods. At 6:54 AM, there were already 6 or 7 people waiting for the doors to be opened.

Front desk staff made me wait 20 minutes even though I had booked an appointment. Several people who were booked in to appointments after me were attended to very quickly as were several walk in patients. No reasonable explanation given. Rudely told to wait as others were attended to first. Asked for blood to be taken from back of my hand as I had done in the recent past in the same office (it is easier and causes less pain that way). The angry staff member raised her voice at me and said it was impossible to do for scientific reasons. A form of medical gaslighting. I was almost in tears. Wanted to request another staff person but felt too intimidated. If they are feeling stressed they should take a break, not be abusive to members of the public. And lying to patients is just a sign of an insane, unstable clinic staff.

I have been treated at Atlas Chiropractic on and off for the past few years and have found their…read moreattitude professional, friendly and caring. They listen to me and treat accordingly. My first treatment was for an extremely sore lower back and Dr. Whyte managed to reduce the pain to a manageable level after the first treatment. Along with one more treatment and a few massage appointments I found the problem had disappeared. My second appointment for a different reason (May 2017) resulted in immediate relief from a lower back pain that my Doctor had diagnosed as "Bursitis" after ending up in emergency due to receiving a lower back injection for the Bursitis (which emergency said I didn't have) I went to Dr. Whyte for relief. The pain again was greatly reduce after his treatment and Laser treatment. I was able to walk normally and actually able to sleep without medication. I highly recommend both Dr. Whyte and his staff for treatment.
