So you are assured a spot and a time, with minimal waiting. -large and bright office, and impeccably clean. -FREE WI-FI. (This is a real rarity at other lab sites). -more services are offered here than at many other LifeLab sites. Examples: EKG's, cardiac holder monitors, etc. -Professionalism of staff. A female checked me in (I didn't get her name) and although she was somewhat aloof, she was thorough and organized and I had zero wait time. My tech was Ian and he was phenomenal. I have had to get cardiac monitors and EKG's frequently and he was the most thorough when it came to instructions and, wow, they even provide you with a mesh "vest" over the monitor (I never got that before, and it made a huge difference in comfort level and stability). And even upon returning the following day, the staff here remembered me and the whole "disconnect and drop-off" experience was, dare I say, pleasant. My experiences at this site were unlike any I've had at other LifeLabs, and this will be the only site I go to from here on in, for sure.

There's free parking in a lot just on the north side of the lab. They have about 6 "rooms" for collecting blood samples, etc, plus a couple of larger rooms for EKG's, etc. and, 2 washrooms for harvesting urine samples, etc. About the only negative is that it can get very busy here, with substantial wait times during peak periods. At 6:54 AM, there were already 6 or 7 people waiting for the doors to be opened.

I signed in at a mobile kiosk with my driver's license and insurance card. A few minutes later I was in the back with a friendly young phlebotomist. She was super patient with me (I have difficult veins) and I have to say she is one of the best I have dealt with in recent years. What could be easier? Nothing! Very clean, nice parking lot with lots of spots. Safe area. My new go to lab yay!

They opened a couple of minutes early to accommodate us walk-ins and quickly and professionally stacked our processes in order. A screen predicted our individual wait times, but the staff beat all the predicted times. I was treated worn respect, humour, and efficiency. Excellent service.

I'm here now waiting in this incredibly long line up and I have an appointment. There's only 2 people at the desk. It seems like they're always short staffed or even if they have another person it's still incredibly slow. I remember amother time I had to wait half an hour just to drop off a specimen. They really need to make some changes to their system here, waiting in line for half an hour just to drop off a specimen and waiting even when you have an appointment is ridiculous. Staff is generally nice but the wait is too much.

Wandering why the staff can't think that she will stay for 2 hrs and wait. They are still saying that. Seat and wait for the name to be called. I was telling them that if my wife can go and drink the glucose while waiting for two hours.. They said She still needs to wait. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
