I just needed a small touch up from one that was a bit too low. He Guaranteed me that he could fix my bite. $3000 for a $150 bite guard that I was to wear for far too long to "get my jaw right". It was never not right, just a tooth a little too low. After that, instead of raising the one lower tooth, he took a dremel and ground my others down, making them sharp as razors so they constantly cut my tongue, and after too many visits to get it "right"--or even close to that, I gave up and cut my losses. I've filed them down myself with a nail file to prevent a ravaged tongue. And that was an additional $3000--$6000 up front for the whole deal--cash out of pocket. That was a couple grand more than the original 5 crowns to begin with. Not one day has gone by that I am not in pain and it has been years. I've been to 4 other dentists and none of them want to touch the problem now. I can no longer chew like one should, so many foods are taboo and most aren't chewed well, creating more problems. No grinding, like for salad. I can't even put my teeth together unless there is food to fill in the rough terrain. Like gravel on gravel. My only real mistake--going there in the first place. Nice guy--certainly. Occlusal specialist--not even close. I've few regrets in life--but this tops the list. I could drone on, but I needed to put this to rest here.

The laser cleaning isn't covered by insurance, so they refused a regular cleaning which is covered by insurance and had their billing person refuse the service which is unprofessional.

They told me I had to get a deep cleaning , cleaned half of my teeth and charged me that much only for the nitrous oxide. The person at the front desk gave me the charges to sign for while the mask on my face. I though it was $210 for the whole mouth cleaning, not for half of the cleaning! I gave them one star review because the charges were never explained to me. I had an appointment the next week for the rest of my cleaning. I confirmed the second appointment for a Monday the Saturday prior. Then, someone from their office called me on the morning of my appointment to tell me the office had cancelled my appointment because of the review I posted that the bill was not explained to me. I thought the total of the nitrous oxide was $210, not $210 each time. I have to say that the front desk agent was irritated or not feeling well when I arrived with her face in her hands. In December, my appointment was rescheduled due to staffing issues. I showed up for the rescheduled appointment in January, only to be informed that it had been canceled--again, because they were short-staffed. To make matters worse, I never received a notification about the cancellation. When I pointed out to the front desk that this was the second time my appointment had been canceled without notice, I was met with indifference. I later called and spoke to the manager, who seemed more concerned with figuring out whether they attempted to contact me (she confirmed they didn't) than addressing the issues. To their credit, they did offer to bump someone else to get me in...but passing the headache and heartache on to someone else didn't sit right with me (maybe that's how my appointments got canceled). That was the moment I decided it was time to find a new dentist.

He will explain everything to you in layman's terms and make sure you understand what he is saying.
