My experience with Eola Eyes was 5 stars from beginning to end. Making the appointment was so simple online but so thorough, I was able to discuss all of my needs and concerns. Not only that but upon my arrival the technician and doctor had obviously read my file and were already well versed in my needs and issues I was experiencing. The technician Jackson was so friendly and kind. He performed a lot of the preliminary exams and was very efficient but thorough in explaining and guiding me through each test. The Dr Kerry Giedd was AMAZING. my eyesight issues aren't super severe so doctors in the past have made me feel like I was taking up their time and not important enough to address. Giedd explained everything and helped me understand why I was experiencing the symptoms I was and validating my needs. She went over some options and was very honest about what was needed and what wasn't and didn't try to sell me something that wouldn't be beneficial for my eyes. Nicole at the eye glass counter was so so sweet. I told her my preferences for frames and she helped me shop around for what looked best and was in my price range. She seemed genuinely happy to help me find my perfect pair. My appointment was at the end of the day so I thought I'd be rushed or made to feel like I was taking up time, but every single person made me feel like I was a valuable patient and customer. 5 Stars for a great spot to score some new glasses and for Jay, who is the BEST at helping you choose! I went in with my hubby for a couple of new glasses and got hooked up! They have a parking lot in the back and when you walk in you're greeted at the front desk. We didn't need a vision appt, so walked on back to the glasses where Jay offered us help. He helped look up our vision plans to see what we had available and offered to pick some frames for Chris to try on. He came back with a handful that ranged from classic to really fun! After spending legitimately a full hour with us, we had the perfect frames and spent a LOT less on them thanks to his work with the insurance. The touch that a small business/small doctors office brings is something that is really important to us. When I previously lived in Orlando, I saw Dr Williams and she is just wonderful. Eola Eyes has an excellent selection of glasses, they are one of the few places in town that have a nice selection of designer frames. My husband ended up with a pair of Lindberg frames which cost nearly a grand, however the frames are excellent quality and I expect them to hold up year after year. I will be returning to get myself a pair once my insurance renews. They do also have a nice selection of the typical frames you would expect to find at most optical establishments that won't cost an arm and a leg though! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I've been a patient of Dr. Beedle's for a few years and she's very thorough and extremely easy to talk to. I was having some concerning problems with my vision and was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. They ran several extensive tests and confirmed that my eyes, retina, etc. looked healthy. Additionally, the office is taking all precautions for COVID. Everyone is wearing a mask and all patients are required to wear a mask. You have to call when you arrive to check-in. Once you arrive inside, your temperature is taken immediately and then you're brought back to one of the exam rooms. Each room has a sign as to whether it's being cleaned/sanitized or if it's already been sanitized. They are also wiping down/sanitizing equipment in between patients. I felt very safe. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Eola Eyes and my consistent great experiences every time I go there. I have been going to Eola Eyes for 4 years now and Dr. Beedle and her staff always are quick, kind and professional. Currently due to the pandemic their appointments have been fully booked up for a few months due to having to limit the amount of patrons in the office at one time, so you could only imagine how excited I was to be able to get an appointment so fast. When you first arrive to the office they require you to call in so that they could ask you a few questions in regards to your health and precautionary COVID questions. Once you have been cleared you then approach the door to have your temperature checked before they lead you to the exam rooms. Masks were worn at all times by employees and patrons. When it comes to buying frames your frames are sanitized before and after you try them on and glass shields are placed between you and your frame technician. So overall I had felt very safe about the COVID protocols that they had instilled and were practicing at the office. Shout out to Erika by the way who was so patient with me and helped me pick out my frames that best fit my face, she was wonderful! The one thing I would say though is that since this is an eye class boutique you will see a variety of high end frames from high end designers so the inventory is going to be a little more pricier than your average retailer. I personally didn't mind since I only get a new pair every few years so to me they were a good investment. Out of all the ones I looked at I ended up choosing the lightweight Austrian Silhouette frames. I can't wait to pick them up!! read more

Excellent experience all around. Dr Rice was great at answering my questions, never making me feel rushed, and never having me wait. The rest of the staff was excellent when looking for glasses. The prices do range greatly, which I was prepared for, but the team was dedicated to helping me find the right pair for my face and prescription. Even when I picked up one of the most expensive pair of frames, they expressed their concerns with the thick lenses I would need and the effect it would have on the look. They ended up pulling a couple frames for me to try on, one of the pairs was one I never would have picked for myself but humored them anyway, it was perfect on my face! Came in today and saw Dr Williams for my Annual Eye Exam - I switched to this boutique office due to I like the modern feel and my Specs received tons of Compliments from various friends etc! They are the only office I know that carry $750 eye FRAMES lol! The variety of frames they have range from Oliver Peoples, Chanel, Gucci, Coach , Rayban and other unknown and unheard of brands that to me are excellent modern looking frames! They also are big on up to date technology with eye science spectrum. Why 4 stars? The receptionist at this day was not as warm as the other staff - She was accomodating but Due to I think its her job to do so? Also as I walked out the office Jay came out and asked me while I was in my car if my eyes were dilated because the Dr still needed to see me? Dr Williams came out after and she smiled after I offered to kindly step back inside if she still needed to talk to me in regards to my exam this day. To me both areas were just lack of organization and warmth. Back to Dr Williams - Her bedside manners were nice but she seemed rushed. Perhaps she was fully booked today? She is informative and a young optometrist. She is current with her knowledge of eye science spectrum and recommended a few things here and there in regards to my issues with my vision. I am truly glad they accept my insurance because my eye is on those $750 eye frames! lol Also Regardless of lacking 1 star I was satisfied with Dr Williams and for Jay fixing my loose glasses on my way out the door! read more

Eola Eyes is the best place in Orlando for eyewear, hands down. I was in recently because I had FSA money to spend and I had not had my yearly eye exam in a couple of years (oops), and it was nothing short of a lovely experience. The eye exam was good. I think they were running a little bit behind, so it took some time, but the doctor was very thorough and happy to answer all of my questions. Their technology seems very up to date and their offices are clean and stylish. Where Eola Eyes really stands out is the eyeglass shop and the service received there. First of all, the shop just looks cool. The lighting is awesome. Second, the frames are spectacular (see what I did there?!) and the section is amazingly curated. There are so many options for glasses and sunglasses in all different styles and price ranges. When I was there, they had an amazing section of glasses from Belgium and they all had crazy fun styles and colors. They mentioned that most items do not stay in the shop for longer than 2-3 months, so they are always changing up the styles that are available. Love that! Their entire staff is awesome, but if you can work with Jay, please do. He is AMAZING at what he does, incredibly good with eyewear styles, and so good and making recommendations for eyewear specific to your face shape and style. Both times I have visited, he selected amazing frames for me. This time, he saw me walking around looking at frames and he handed me a pair and said, "I think these are yours." I put them on and they were perfect. I tried on lots of different styles, but ended up selection the frames he recommended first. He is so good at giving his opinion in such a nice way and will tell you if a pair of frames is just not for you. It's like shopping with a friend who will tell you what's up. I told Jay I was also in the market for sunglasses so he asked if he could select some styles for me to try. Within minutes, I had 10 different pairs to test. I ordered my frames and they were available for pickup within a week. I was notified by text message and I came by and picked them up quickly. When picking up my frames, the staff adjusts them so they sit perfectly on my face. They also make sure to tell you that you can come back ANYTIME to get your frames cleaned or adjusted. I loved my previous eye doctor (Envision in Celebration) but after moving across town to Audubon Park I couldn't justify long trips down I4 for my regular exam and contact fitting. I just happened to drive by Eola Eyes a few weeks ago and it caught my eye -- looked much better than the strip mall eye doctors that are popular around here. Yelp reviews were great and they take my insurance, so that I decided to make an appointment for my overdue annual exam. The booking experience was easy and pleasant, and I was happy that I was able to get a convenient appointment pretty quickly. I got some text reminders to arrive at my appointment a little early to fill out new patient paperwork -- super simple and the front desk staff was very organized, so it only took a few minutes. I had a little time to look around the office (which is lovely, spacious, and modern) and then I was called back for my appointment. Even though I had a late afternoon appointment everything ran on time, so I appreciate that they don't overschedule or let things go too off course. The optometry assistant did some basic intake work and then soon enough my eye doc (Dr. Rice) came in to do the exam. It was easy and thorough, and I felt like everyone went out of their way to get to know me and my preferences and my eye history since I was a new patient. I finished up with a review of pricing for my contact lenses and several different trial pair to test out. I am a little late in scheduling my appointment this year and am almost out of lenses, so I was thrilled to hear contact orders come in very quickly (just a day or two). I am in desperate need of new glasses, but I think I'm going to look elsewhere -- Eola Eyes has a great selection of really attractive frames but most are quite pricey ($400-500) and I only wear my glasses for a few minutes at the beginning and end of the day, so I think Warby Parker is more in my price range. I have been wearing prescription lenses for 30 years. I have never enjoyed the process of buying them. I have never been pleased with my frames. I have never felt that I made a good purchase. Until today. My wife purchased custom frames from Eola Eyes last month. The process was quick and painless -- my favorite kind of shopping. As a result, I decided that I needed to go have my eyes examined and get some new glasses (perhaps in large part because I cannot find my old pair of glasses, which I suspect, but cannot prove, have been hidden by members of my household . . . but I digress). I had a 9:30 appointment and arrived at 9:15. After I had filled out my paperwork, it was 9:25. I did not have to wait but was immediately brought to the optometrist for my exam. She was fast, effective and friendly. On the whole, it was a great experience, to the extent one can have a great experience getting one's eyes examined. I then went out to look at frames. The frame consultants (my term, because they were not trying to sell me anything) both independently identified the same frames as best for me. I have to agree with them. I did turn rather pale when I saw that they cost $525 but they really looked so much better than the $175 frames that I could not purchase anything else. Any business that can make me feel good about spending $500 eyeglass frames (plus another $350 or so for progressive lenses) must be a five star business. read more

Love, love, love this place! Beautiful location, decent street parking if the lot is full, gorgeous interior, a huge selection of fabulous brands, and a wonderful team ready to help you find just the right frames for your face. A friend told me about Eola Eyes when I was new in town and exasperated by my fruitless, never-ending search for great specs. Every place I stepped in to, it seemed, had the same boring style that went out back in 2007. Seriously -- it's like they mass produced that one frame style and that's all everyone would wear. Well, not me! Walking in the door at Eola Eyes was a breath of fresh air. Relief! Variety! BIG variety! I spent more time than I expected playing around with different shapes, colors and designers - and the staff was pleased to let me at it. I think they had just as much fun as I did. ;) After more than one visit (and some photos shared on Facebook to get the votes of my friends), I found an awesome pair of L.A. Eyeworks frames ("Sumac") that spoke to me. It must have been fate for this SoCal native (and recent transplant). :) When I was struggling between that style and one more square, Jay firmly nixed the others as way too square for my face shape/jaw line...and he was right. Today I finally splurged and got a new pair of frames. Because I'm an adult with vision insurance now, OH YEAH! First of all, Eola Eyes is beautifully decorated. It's a nice, open, and very clean space. The service is exceptional when compared to chains like Visionworks. Today I kinda spent time browsing alone which is what I prefer and fell in love with a pair of Chanel tortoise shell frames. After my insurance coverage I shelled out about $250 which is much less than I was expecting to pay. Eola eyes carries premium frames so prepare to crap your pants every time you look at the price tag. I promise that anything you purchase here will be a great investment and your eyes and fashion sense will thank you! read more

I absolutely love Eola Eyes. The courteousness shown by the staff and doctors is incomparable to any other optometrist I've been to. Dr. Beedle was extremely kind and helped me with my decision to get daily contact lenses, and I needed a pair of new glasses. She was patient with me as I had a few questions, and Jay on the retail side for frames was AMAZING. I could not decide on a pair and he was extremely helpful on picking out the right frames for my face. I purchased those Oliver Peoples and they were ready extremely quickly. My contacts had to be ordered, but Dr. Beedle ensured I'd be covered because she gave me almost 2 weeks' worth of samples! The atmosphere is clean, trendy...the music is fun and there's coffee with all kinds of flavors while you're waiting or choosing frames. I will never go anywhere else! I saw Dr. Beedle and she was excellent. Friendly, smart, and she did not try to push any products or services on me. I have a unique situation and she explained everything to me in an easy to understand way. The equipment there is impressive - very top of the line. And the office is super modern and aesthetically pleasing. They also offer coffee and tea while you wait. And they send you text/email reminders which I LOVE. This is a great little optometrist and eyeglass place right in the middle of downtown. I've been there several times so far, and they've been incredibly nice, patient, and competent for every visit. The doctors are knowledgeable, friendly, and never seem to want to rush you out the door. The guy in charge of their showroom is very dedicated and knows what looks good - also, when I had an issue with a new pair of lenses, he replaced them not once, but twice, free of charge. Basically, the vibe you get from this place is very professional and trendy. It's got a great feel to it and a great staff. I was so incredibly blown away by Eola Eyes! The office is stunning and still very comfortable. Every person working there was so happy with their jobs and it showed in how kind they were to every single guest (I intentionally replace the idea of patient with guest because thats how they made you feel). The technology in the office is superior to what I have experienced in other offices, some standard tests and others elective. The elective testing was explained to me but never forced on me, it was entirely up to me. This was my first time getting contact lenses and to say I was nervous is an understatement. Everyone was so patient with me and answered all my questions and never rushed me. At the "try on" bar I was so out of my comfort zone trying to put the lenses on my eyes but someone sat with me, and laughed with me, through my struggles and I left much more confident in putting in and taking out my lenses. My first trial pairs weren't right for me and when I went back for a follow up they were so awesome about helping me find a pair that was right for me.
