I took my brother in (who suffers from severe social anxiety) to get his eyes checked and some new glasses. He really liked the place and didn't feel any major anxiety at all thanks to the place being smaller and the fact that they don't seem to double book appointments like some places where you can't even find a seat for the 2 hour long wait to see the doc. He also liked the frame selection and even a year later is happy with the great quality of the lenses which haven't flaked as our others have. I went for my yearly appointment in Jan or Feb and again enjoyed the friendly atmosphere created by the staff and doctors. Dr. Ellison gave epically rocking explanations on some of the worries he had about my optic nerves and even brought in his wife just to get a second opinion because he wanted to give me the best possible help. I've never before been to a doctor that explained things so well as usually they just tend to tell you a diagnoses and expect you to google it to find out exactly what it means. I'm loving my glasses once again. :) The newest convert, my mother, luckily got an appointment on the day before Mother's Day and they were having one of there many events to celebrate Mother's Day by giving out roses and providing snacks and drinks. When she was finished with the doctor and we drove of, she could not stop gushing at how great the doctor was and how she never wants to go to her usual eye clinic again. She said he made her laugh and she appreciates his knowledge and the way he did the explanations. On a side note to my epic review, I recommend ignoring that 2 star review I noticed considering that it's not the doctors office fault that insurance companies in general make life difficult for everyone. I've never had a problem with any of the front desk girls who have always been polite and accommodating. As a past medical biller myself at a large medical office, I always recommend calling the insurance company yourself if you are concerned about coverage or price as they sometimes do not give accurate and up to date information to the doctor offices. Definitely TL;DR? Place is still awesome. Doctors actually explain what they are doing and any problems they see. They often have fun events where they offer discounts on lenses. Frame selection is good and lens quality is fantastic. Go there and you'll be a customer for life.

She was trying to figure out with their IT how to make her password work. When finished she then told me to come over to check out for the eye exam so they could get started, SHE HAD HAD ALL THE PAPERWORK READY TO GO. My total was $49 and I remember thinking that's higher than I expected but hadn't been since the new year and maybe my benefits had changed. She went to run my card and had to unplug the router due to their internet giving her trouble and then ran payment again. I wasn't trying to add trouble to her day and figured I would just double check benefits once home. I went into the rooms with my younger daughter for her exam. I did let them know my older daughter was on her way for her appointment to give them a heads up. Once I came out my older daughter's exam was done and she was entering the other room to speak to the doctor. While I waited with my younger daughter I realized I hadn't checked out for my older one and made mention of it to them. This was the other girl in the store and she asked how much was your first total. I told her and upon her getting it ready Elranee overheard and grabbed the ALREADY DONE PAPERWORK and handed it to her to process. I then paid $49 again. After coming home and checking yes it was supposed to be $10 but they had done retinal imaging and that was $39 extra. A service that in October of 2024 IN THIS EXACT OFFICE WITH ELRANEE I turned down as evident in my $10 eye exam charge. When I called to ask about this she INSISTED that she ALWAYS tells people about this and she KNOWS she told me. I then reminded her of just how distracted she was due to all the technical errors they were having and she did remember that but still insisted she told me of the CHARGES, I then also said how funny that is seeing as SHE didn't ring me out for my older daughter and all her tests started while I wasn't even in the room at all so how could I of given persmission? She then remembered that too. I also made mention how I had zero invoices or receipts of the itemized services to which she offered to email them to me. I said no thanks. For further review I ended up getting their prescriptions through COSTCO and my god the price difference is INSANE I believe I spent roughly $450 on 2 pairs at For Eyes this exact one in October 2024 and I bought 3 pairs at Costco for $320 to which my insurance sent $250 for out of network claim. Very impatient if you did not understand what she was saying, or if you couldn't read a letter or letters on screen, she would repeatedly tell you that you HAD to try and read it, no matter how much you expressed to her your vision was blurry and you couldn't make out the letters. She became kind of upset and annoyed. I have never been to an optometrist who gets annoyed because you can't see. That's why we are here.... Something felt so off that it made me very anxious and uncomfortable. As for the front desk receptionists, they were not friendly and seemed bored with their job. Terrible experience. It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.

Brenda was nice and quick and efficient, and then I waited a few more minutes before being seen by the doctor. Everything went so effortlessly it always seemed too good to be true. I came in on a Friday morning when they opened so it wasn't packed. All the services were fairly quick anyway. I loved that I was able to get contacts right on site. The doctor had me put the first pair in so that I could get help if need be. It's been over a decade since wearing them so I was excited that I still remembered! Price of contacts were reasonable, about $90 for a 6 month supply. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no contact kit, with solution and a case. I remember when I received contacts before I got those with my first set. So I went to Walmart to pick them up (no biggie). There is plenty of parking available as they are located in a strip mall area.
