Avoid at all costs. They're rip offs. They double bill. Never give them your insurance information outside of vision insurance. They will find away to add charges to medical for services never rendered. When confronted the office manager is less than pleasant and a straight liar. I'm turning my concerns over to the medical board for optometry. Also after paying for a contacts exam they didn't arrive when promised. When I returned to the states I was told I'd have to pay $275 and start over again. Even though it was less than a years time. Claiming my vision may have changed. Though they had already billed and been paid by my insurance plus received my copayment. Though they had previously responded to a complaint I filed through the insurance that when I returned I could pick up my contacts. read more

I brought my children and myself in to get our eyes tested before our benefits ran out at the end of 2021. Our normal optometrist could not fit us in so this seemed like a good compromise. It's now a month later, and all three of us have had to go visit our old optometrist to get accurate prescriptions for our glasses. My prescription was so far off that when I put the glasses on it felt like I was drunk and I had a migraine immediately. I mentioned how different the prescription was in comparison to my prior one and she told me that it was just because I was getting older and that I was one step away from bifocals. My normal optometrist asked me if the doctor was brand new because it was such a rookie mistake in diagnosis. For my nine year old, she never even used the refraction tools and simply dilated his eyes and told me that his very first pair of glasses would be a very strong prescription, making me feel like the worst parent ever. Upon actual refraction, we found she prescribed twice the strength that he actually needed. So, avoid this location at all costs because what it will do is leave you without your glasses for longer than necessary and will cause you to have to run around and get retested. As I have been treated well each time I go in. I witnessed something in the office a couple weeks ago and wanted to give credit to the girls that were working. A patron wanted something and was not listening to the explanation as to why it couldn't be done. This person got abusive with the girl up front, the manager and also with the doctor. Although voices were raised, no vulgarities, slurs or harmful words were used in response to this abusive person. I am a firm believer that people should speak up when they see good things or give applause when the best was made of a situation that was obviously going to not end well!!!! I will still recommend this office to everyone. read more

The manager and the owner have horrible customer service. They were continuously rude and were using vulgar language with me. Not sure if they are racist but sure comes off that way. I understand why they have a 3.6 customer rating. It should be worse!!! Do yourself a favor and skip this place! They are horrible, rip offs! They charge and charge and keep charging! They make you pay up front at the time of your appointment for needless things. They hold on to your contact RX and do not give it! I am working on getting these crooks shut down. They are not professional at all. As soon as someone walks out of the office they make fun of them. I went in for an eye exam. After checking in and doing all of the tests I was in the room waiting for the doctor. She saw I had allergy conjunctivitis and said we need to treat that before I exam you. Mind you my eye had already touched all of their equipment! She gave me a prescription for some drops which I am thankful for and cleared my eye right up. I was asked to come back a week later. I did and then was told there would be another $35 charge. The supervisor said if you came in for itchy eyes and then wanted an exam later we would charge you separate. I didn't disagree with that but said I didn't come in for the itchy eye and came in for an exam and you sent me away. The supervisor was adamant I would have to pay so I said I will go somewhere else to which she replied ok. Not a care in the world. I'm sorry I didn't read these reviews before but I never leave reviews. Sounds like overcharging and poor customer service is par for the course here. This place is not worth the time I could have just gone to my other eye Dr. I had seen them in August and wanted to see if we could lower one eye to see my phone better. I had done this in the past works great. I used all my contacts and ask to bump it up to day March 8. I was told they would have to come in and been seen again I just need new contacts and move the one closer to it real prescription. I am not paying these guys anymore money. DO NOT COME HERE: the reviews are accurate. I had one of the worst experiences trying to get prescribed contacts. First of all, Dr. Trina Jones did not look at my eyes thoroughly as all other doctors have in the past. I left with a drastically changed prescription and within an hour had a throbbing head ache. When I went back to get the prescription fixed they said I was seeing 20/20 when I left and seemed annoyed. They then changed my prescription even more drastically after hardly checking my eyes again. I felt uncomfortable and asked if it was common to keep doing what felt like guessing at a prescription. That's when they snapped... Dr. Jones stormed into the exam room where I was waiting alone and told me to put my phone away as if I was a school girl getting scolded. She then proceeded to tell me the prescription being wrong was my fault, raising her voice to tell me she can't see what I see. It was appalling and extremely unprofessional. I replied simply, "Do not talk to me that way." From there she gave me the worse prescription yet... my left eye is worse than the right and she flipped them. We ended it by me switching the contacts currently in my eyes and saying that felt better. She wrote me a prescription based off of that and I left verge of tears. I've never experienced anything like this before in my life from a credible doctor. I really hope people read this and know not only will you not get an accurate prescription coming here, you will get horrible customer service. read more

I've been coming to this location for years. Even before it was lifetime. Ever since lifetime has taken over I keep getting shocked. First it was somewhere around $400 for an exam, just to be given the same exact strength contacts I've been wearing. They claimed I needed a new client exam since this dr was new here. They claimed they don't have access to my previous records. At that time I ordered 3 months of contacts and paid somewhere around $180. I came back 3 months later to reorder contacts and was charged $270. I asked if that was a mistake and I was assured it wasn't. Here we are 3 months later and I was able to order the same contacts online from 1800contacts for $140 shipped to my door. Every time I've ordered contacts from lifetime I've been given sample contacts to get me by until the order gets here. Today I go in and ask for some to get me by until my contacts get in as I'm on my last pair today. Now I understand I didn't buy my contacts from them this time so I can see why they wouldn't want to just give them to me this time, so I offered to pay for the sample contacts. They claimed they don't have any samples in my strength from any brand at all. Normally I would have just brushed it off but I'm starting to see a pattern of inconsistency here. Do NOT go to Trina Jones for your eye care needs. When I first saw her in 2020, she was in the same office as I had gone to for years in Quail Springs Mall. First she claimed she no longer had my records as the previous optometrist had taken all the files when he left. Then, she prescribed a much stronger contact lens than I had before assuring me that's what I needed even though it seemed not as clear as what I already had. It all made me quite uncomfortable and I decided I would likely not go back to her. I paid what they said I owed and was told they'd file my insurance which I knew should cover the rest of the costs for the exam. Fast forward two and a half years later. I received a bill for over $200 for what insurance didn't pay. That's TWO AND A HALF YEARS after I had the service!!! I looked at all the charges which seemed excessive and which I never remembered receiving. When I questioned them, I was told I had received those services and since I had nothing to refute her claim, I paid the bill. I've worn glasses and contacts for over 50 years, and she is the worst eye care "professional" I've ever encountered. read more
