One word. Wow. Just today (6-17-24), Lift Tech did some work on my garage door. First, some background. I've been having trouble with my garage door for over a year now - dating back to last summer. Sometimes it would close, other times it would close half way - and then go back up. Oddly, it was fine in the winter, but as soon as the hot summer Las Vegas weather hit, the problem would re-start. Sometimes (after several attempts), it would finally close. Other times, I'd have to close it manually. I called the fellow who installed the door - he came by and said I needed a new door. I didn't get one, as winter was almost here (when I was confident it would start working properly again - it did), and I decided I'd put up with the problem 'til next summer. So this summer, I've been dealing with the same "sometimes open, sometimes not" problem I had last summer. But today, another problem developed - and the door wouldn't even attempt to close. I called Lift Tech, and Jonathan was here within one hour. One. Hour! Did he immediately try and sell me a new door? No. He said - and confidently - "I can fix this." And the price was MORE than reasonable. An hour later? My garage door is opening and closing as it should. If I have any more problems - or when the time comes I inevitably need a new door, guess who I'll be calling. Jonathan at Lift Tech. Everyone I dealt with from this company was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. They quickly and effectively fixed a garage door that wouldn't open or close properly due to a bent rail and two off-track wheels (garage was hit accidentally by a car). Reasonable pricing. I especially like their clearly stated commitment on their website that says, "A replacement is never recommended when a repair is possible!" I needed my sensor fixed as door no longer went down with remote. Also needed keypad reprogrammed as when I bought townhouse the previous tenants were renters and had no clue what code was. Apparently it was not compatible with system I had. It had been unused for years. Called 3 companies for estimate. First 2 immediately went into upgrade mode. Everything old and worn out. Fast forward to 2019 and I have moved to a new house. Brian has replaced the spring on the main door about a year ago and just recently upgraded the motor with a WiFi compatible one. I recently needed to have my garage door replaced. After getting a couple of quotes, I came across Lift Tech and spoke directly to Brian, the owner. He also went above and beyond as he tightened the springs, reconnected my opener and reset it to the correct setting (which I had screwed up previously.)
