Green Valley Garage Doors provided friendly and quick service for my garage door repair. I called on a Monday morning because the light on my garage door motor was flashing. The door was also moving slowly. Robert answered right away and offered to send someone out that morning. That didn't work for me, but he also had a two hour window that afternoon. Before the appointment I received a text confirmation that I was scheduled. When the technician was on the way I received another text as well. Ozzie arrived and didn't take long to determine the issue. The door motor needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote for the repair and left to get the parts. It wasn't long before he returned with the parts and completed the repair. Ozzie noticed a second garage door button that wouldn't work with the new motor. He showed me what type of button I needed to order and offered to return to install it. While he was installing the button he also programmed a second garage door opener and installed a light into the motor which I really appreciated. Calling Green Valley Garage Door for my repair was a great experience. I won't hesitate to call them when it's time to repair my other garage door. Brannon showed up on time and took a look at my garage door. It's working, but it's been a little "herky Jerky" when going back down. He explained some things to me about the springs, made a quick adjustment to one of the rails with his hands, adjusted the sensor really quickly, and then said it was no charge. Ozzie came out the next day and immediately did little fixes where things weren't installed correctly, and let me know that we did in fact need a new garage door - just about everything was not installed properly, and we had an old door and motor. Ozzie is very knowledgeable and realistic with the scope of work. He even helped me with some documentation that my HOA needed before we began the project, as well as giving me a referral for a painter. Within one week, we were able to get the garage door fully installed in about 4 hours. Even though it's not a price that many wish to fork up (I mean, who ever WANTS to pay for home repairs??), I'm confident knowing we have a garage door with a warranty and a team who will respond quickly to any issues we may have. Updated as of 1/29/24 Just had another company out for a tune up and to change out the wheels. The tech discovered the motors bracket wasn't even screwed into a stud! This is why it would shake when the door would open all the way. Supposedly Green Valley Garage Doors checked "everything" and didn't find anything wrong when I asked him back. When the owner once ran this company I rated it a five. He either expanded it or sold it. I used this business 3 times. This third time a Green Vly employee named Robert showed up to represent the business. He gave me an estimate it seemed high but I trusted Green Vly because of the owner I had previously dealt with. Robert and his Hispanic partner arrived at my house weeks later and committed a dishonest act by intentionally damaging a garage door opener previously installed by the owner within the last year. It took several years to figure out what they had done. I had the identical door installed in my California home and was stunned watching them do the install. Robert and his Hispanic partner had open and tampered with opener components they had no business touching. Then offering to replace the component at a substantial cost. In no way I see how this can be a five star location unless they are paying Yelp or have a agreement to pay to get said five star reviews. The only thing that they were truly good about was they were quick to be there within a day and putting stickers with their phone number up all over my garage We're guest can see it. I can understand a single sticker in an obscure place but not all over. I was not there when it was installed I did meet him quickly. Old garage door equipment and was left installed I had wanted the new keypad installed on top of the old keypad. It was not it was installed on the side of the garage door where I never would want one. All garage door pieces were left. Extra holes in the wall were left in the photos that I'm going to attach to this review you can see the quality of the work I highly suggest against using this company. I wanted to keep the old garage door opener and control systems mainly because they're worth a lot on eBay because you can't obtain the parts. The owner never asked me took the parts I would imagine they're being sold on eBay for more than what I paid for my garage door. I'm also going to be left with stucco repair that needs to be done from where he put the wireless opener right where everybody can see it not where I wanted it which is shown in the photos. Our garage door clickers weren't working even though we switched out the batteries in both. We've been having to get out of the car to use our keypad anytime we needed to open or close the garage. I've been putting aside the task of researching garage repair companies for a few weeks, when finally today I decided to just request a quote through here. (This was around 3:30p) My estimated time frame that he could be there was anywhere between 5-7p. He got here around 5! As a first time customer, I called Green Valley Garage Doors on a Saturday at 11:18 AM. The job turned out to be to replace a broken spring. Everything was done by 1:45 PM on the same day. It took 2 workers about 45 minutes of labor once they arrived. The initial contact over the phone was very professional. The workers text you when they're en route so that you know they're on the way. The original spring was a small one inside a thin tube. The replacement spring was a hefty one that is exposed so that lubrication can be applied to it directly to prolong its lifetime. An aside: the emergency 24/7 number for the company that originally installed my garage door is who I actually called first at 10:55 AM - but that number only had a phone company message saying that the person at that line hadn't setup voice mail. To their credit, they actually called me back, from an unlisted number so I didn't know it was them until I listened to the message on my voice mail, but the call came about 5 minutes before Green Valley Garage Doors was done anyway. read more

Worst experience with this company. Technician came out gave us a quote to replace 2 motors at our house. We accepted the quote right away. He said he has to come back another day which out of the blue without telling us what day shows up. He does the install , calls me 4 times while I'm in a meeting. After I finally answer he says he can not leave the premises without me paying. I ask for a link to pay he says his company has to send it. I say ok. During which time he knocks on our door countless of times gets my mother involved says we are not paying our bill and that it hurts him because his company can not allow him to earn another job without getting paid on this one.
