I have been here several years ago because I was looking for a wrist brace and they didn't have it at that time. Got it from somewhere else and that took care of the problem. I was there few days ago and needed a back Foam Bed Wedge and Knee Elevated Wedge that would have a soft cushion, good back support and comfort. Got both the knee wedge, and the back support wedge which makes my knees & back somewhat pain free. Will get used to it eventually. They have so many different varieties of Medical Supplies in their store that your head will start spinning. They have: Recliner Chairs, Scooters, Walkers, Bed pan, Wheelchairs, home healthcare supplies; such as hospital beds all the way to other types of medical supplies/products for all ages, genders; and, also if something needs to be repaired, they will do that for you too. I believe there is a different location for that. Knee Elevator Wedge cost me $28.95 w/out tax and the bed wedge was $39.95 w/out tax. So the prices for both items were not that expensive. Even if they were, your comfort and heath should be your first and the ONLY priority. Thank you owners, employees at Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies. You have been a big help in every way!! No need to look any further. One stop for all your health care needs and it also has ample parking in the back!!

Carlos was my hero for connecting with me by phone before the actual rental time. He explained where to meet with him, in detail. This was important because the Huntington Gardens had construction going on at their front entry gate, so Carlos guided me to an alternate entrance and THEN TO THE DROPOFF SITE on the Huntington property. Quite a gambit. Anyway, Carlos has the best personality. He is gracious and warm. He was prompt in meeting for the drop-off AND for returning to meet for the scooter pick-up. I called him to PLEASE pick up the scooters about 1 hour early, as we were both tired from our adventure. Carlos got to us early and with a smile. The two scooters we rented were excellent for "zipping" around the large property. The property is 207 acres, so trying to do that tour on foot was impossible for us two seniors. Really nice equipment that held it's charge. It was easy to handle indoors (in the galleries) and outdoors (commuting to and through the many gardens.)

They asked a couple of easy questions on the phone then said they could send a technician the same day to troubleshoot our units. The technician showed up with the possible replacement parts needed and had our units running in no time. Pricing was clearly explained and reasonable. More concerning, when an elevator malfunctions, customers can face weeks-long delays before a technician arrives to address the problem. What is most troubling is the impression that maintaining existing equipment and ensuring customer safety have become secondary priorities. Rather than providing prompt, reliable service, the company appears far more focused on selling new installations and upgrades. For a business entrusted with something as essential as elevator safety, that is deeply disappointing. I can no longer recommend their services.

It's obvious that he benefits from patients with Medicare and Medi-Cal. He gets his money regardless of his horrible bedside manner. His best solution to assisting you is "come get it in the valley or wait for the mail." He is dealing with sick people and care providers and he could careless. It has been a week since the request has been made after a week follow up phone calls and today he hasn't even bother to answer the phone or return messages. This business will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Following is what I wrote in my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. When I told him I'd be doing this, he told me that he didn't care. Let's see what happens. :) Complaint Description: Failed to clearly cite return policy. Upon attempt to return it was blamed on Covid-19. That reason wasn't written anywhere so he changed his reason After trying to return an unopened product still in its original packaging, I was explained by the supervisor/owner that they don't accept any returns due to the current pandemic. I asked him how they were able to sell during a pandemic using that same logic as these supplies are shipped to them through supply chains and that he and his employees don't live in this building to which he had no response. I explained and showed him that nothing was opened whatsoever and continued to give the same reason, refusing to hear anything else. Once I pointed out that the receipt and signage said absolutely nothing about COVID-19 (and this being a medical company as well) he then changed his mind and said that the receipt states that they do not accept anything that is designed to touch the skin. I said to him that they are a medical company and everything they sell is designed to touch people. He said they accept returns on wheelchairs... I replied that people sit in it. Then I said that the pandemic excuse was a flat out lie and even if there was no pandemic then he still would not accept any returns. He said YES. I let him know that he's running a scam and that his signs should simply say 'no returns' instead of this verbal soup that's pasted at the bottom of the receipt that is designed to be confusing/misleading. Before leaving I let him know that he is marking up a $35 nebulizer by $90 according to online. He said that he is providing a service... then he mumbled something about it being my fault for not searching online first. Your Desired Resolution: I would like a full refund and to be able to return their brand new unopened product back and for them to be absolutely transparent about their return policy and to stop lying to customers for reasons why they won't accept a return.

Every interaction with Life Alert has shown professionalism and caring support. Sure, there were some odd things along the way but nothing that interfered with a quick response to activation of the system. One odd thing, and I must admit to not really knowing about any contract that was in place, was that seemingly all of a sudden there were fairly expensive monthly charges. I was told that the service was changed to month-to-month but never saw anything in writing. Cancellation of the service, when necessary, was quickly accomplished with no fuss at all.
