Great location. Its proximity to Mall of GA means, I can visit while the rest of the family is at the mall. They help jump start the local economy while I get indulge and enjoy a fine smoke. Even better, the place makes cuban coffee. Cigar + Cuban Coffee = #winning I am impressed that this is also a Foundation Cigar lounge. Which means many a thing. They probably have all vitolas and selected rarity from Foundation cigars. And I have been wanting to try a particular cigar from them and sure enough the have boxes of these. The Wise Men maduro turned out to be great. Very robust, chewy, full bodied smoke. In addition, they also have Warped! , which I love. Caldwells, Tats, and many more. Not to be outdone, you can also find marque smokes from Fuente and Padron. I mean.. they have all the good stuff here. They even have LFD's Andalusian Bull. The smoking lounge is well spaced out. Seats 10 in the leather sofas. A few more chairs along the wall and 2 TV on the wall. Its dark and cold back there. That AC and ventilation in on full blast while I was there. If ever there was a place in the greater Metro Atlanta area that afforded a fantastic environment for smoking a premium cigar while minding your own business as you watch sports or not, Ligero is the place to do it. I've been into cigars for quite some time as it's probably one of the more "healthier" smoking options. Cigarettes are horrid because of the 400 chemicals that a person inhales into the lungs. Weed affects your brain royally. Pipes just takes way too much effort to do. Vaping is artificial in terms of flavor and there isn't the tinge of the tobacco and the smoke that is taken into the mouth to give a deep robust flavor that most cigar smokers enjoy. And the fact that being a subversive person, it's culturally frowned on to smoke a cigar, but weed is somehow celebrated and yet no one would want an airline pilot to be smoking weed while operating the 747. I'd rather a pilot smoke a stogie than a joint! But I'm not knowledgeable in cigars to really be of any sort of help. I just know flavors. That being said, the owner of Ligero, Adam, is beyond helpful and so chock full of knowledge that you can't help but like his recommendations. My favorite out of this place is the Foundation El Gueguense in Churchill size as it's got a medium based flavor that has a mild spice note but it's full Nicaraguan fillers and I like Nicaraguan tobacco. My man goes so far as to inform you of the difference between lunch cigars and dinner cigars and I'm not on that level quite yet but the fact that he does, it's quite clear Adam knows his cigars! The ambiance is just as great. Ligero has the caliber of a premier location that's just tucked in a small plaza across from the Mister Carwash off of Buford Dr in Buford, GA. Plush leather seating, Cuban coffee, lighters, an array of accessories that will give you a headrush as to what you need, and ultimately, it's the man cave you need. If you don't smoke cigars, Ligero offers the pipe option. If Austin, TX Richard Overton who is 111 years old said all he needs in life is God and cigars, Ligero would be his spot to rest in and when all you need in life is God and cigars, Ligero is the spot to make that statement a reality! read more

Discovered this chill lounge while searching for a place to enjoy football and a cigar in a comfortable environment. Met co-owner who explained the house rules as well as it's history in Buford. Clean, tastefully decorated, and excellent selection of cigars to choose from. No outside cigars, no alcohol, but can bring in food from outside vendors. I purchased a Punch and chilled while watch Georgia State play Tennessee and listening to podcast. I'll be back and recommend my friends to join me. read more

I. Love. This. Joint! There's a fantastic selection of cigars with a very friendly & knowledgeable staff. It doesn't matter who's working, they've always been happy to help me pick something out, answer any questions or simply leave me alone to make up my own mind. Additionally, there is a spacious and comfortable lounge where you can watch TV, pop open your laptop (yes, they have Wi-Fi!) or remember what it's like to be an actual human and enjoy some friendly conversation with the varied cast of usual suspects. I've found that cigar culture is one of dissolved boundaries and differences overlooked. We all just want to chill out and enjoy a good smoke. Ligero is one of my favorite places to do it. I've been coming here for a little over 2 years; shame on me for taking so long to post a review, but this place is awesome. Owner - Firstly, I will say that the owner Adam is the most personable and pleasant business owner I've ever met. He is a true tobacco enthusiast and is more than willing to help you out if you're new to cigars or even if you're experienced but still want to learn some fun facts or get recommendations on cigars you've never tried. Simply put, if you treat him with respect, he will treat you with even more. Humidor- Let me be the first to say that I'm not an experienced pro when it comes to cigars, BUT, this is definitely one of the better humidors I have been in. I've visited a number of cigar shops in the Atlanta area and this humidor definitely has one of the better selections. You have everything from your Monticristos and Alec Bradleys of the word to numerous boutique cigars you've never heard of. Everything from cheap to expensive is available as well so you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy a smoke. Environment- The lounge area has two 3-person leather couches and two 2-person leather couches. There are also about 5 single seater leather chairs behind the couches and two large hdtv's on the wall. Plenty of torches and cutters are available around the shop as well. I like to come here during football games, basketball games, or if I have some computer work to do and I want to have a cigar while I work. The seating is extremely comfortable and it makes for a positive experience. I've met several guys in this lounge and everyone has been really cool. Misc- Other intangibles of this establishment include: -The delicious Cuban coffee -Apple Pay acceptance -Cigar events, which include raffle giveaways -Great ventilation -Plenty of parking Bottom Line: Ligero Tobacco House is hands down the best cigar lounge I've been to. Sure there may be some fancy bells and whistles that other spots may have, but for someone looking for a great experience, this place can't be beat. This is my favorite cigar lounge in Georgia. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it. I try to come once a week. It's an exclusive Foundation Cigar lounge so they always have Foundation Cigars in stock. Their selection is amazing - a ton of classics and lots of different boutiques to expand your palette. A great space and well ventilated and they have two tv's showing a game or a movie, so it's the perfect spot to chill with your friends or make new ones. The owner, Adam, is super friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to spend time to give advice and help you find the right cigar for you. And the coffee is free on your first visit! Fantastic place and the owners are so very pleasant and inviting. As a newbie to cigar/pipe smoking i am not as knowledgeable as many others. I am a pipe smoker and dont jive with cigars. They have a large humidor for the cigars with a large selection. They also have a comfortable lounge in the back portion of the space. Complete with TV leather sofas and plenty of lighters and ashtrays. Not a large but rather a wonderful selection of pipe tobaccos. They also sell this Cuban coffee that is just knock your socks off good. I would honestly go there just for the coffee its so good.
