What you want in a cigar bar! You can tell that the owners are smokers...the establishment caters to your needs.

This place is closed when you go. It is like a business that is going under slowly. The Padron's are moldy and it is so sad. I have gone 3 times and the first time the selection is sparse. The second time I had to wait for them to open and it was a weekday in the middle of the day. The last time I went was during regular hours as posted on the door and all locked up and no signs of life in the store. Good luck getting a cigar that is not moldy in this place. To bad there you have to give this place a single star. I really wanted this place to be good because it is close to the neighborhood. The search continues. read more

I like the selection and the location of their cigars Updated: The selection is limited and doesn't have many of the brands I am looking for. I did recently find out that they are open on Sunday, not sure about the hours. It's also an older crowd that hangs out here smoking and watching tv. This is an old school cigar shop. Spartan furnishing, just a couch and a couple seats positioned in front of a single television screen. Definitely not fancy schmantzy (I am curious what spell check will make of that word!). The inventory is well kept and organized. This shop has an above average selection of cigars priced under $5, but also has a good selection of fine cigars which are priced very well. The owner is friendly and attentive. It is tough to rate this shop, since it is way behind most other shops in terms of decor and environment, but maybe that is why the others charge more. So in the end, you either are going to pay for the cigar, or pay for the nicer chair. I like being given the choice. read more

This cigar shop has a great selection. You can find in most cases everything on the cigar aficionado list, to just your every day stick. The owner and manager are both knowledgeable about sticks, and leave you alone while you browse. They have humidors and often have old boxes for sale cheap. I bought my first humidor here. It's a man cave, nothing fancy, old school and no frills. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and you don't need all the crowds, music and frills. read more

Rick is the owner and is usually behind the counter, his knowledge and willingness to help makes you feel right at home. The humidor is not the biggest in Atlanta, but the prices are better than most. A few comfortable couches and some friendly folks enjoying a cigar makes for a great place. read more

Felt like smoking a good cigar, found "Up In Smoke" was near by so I decided to take a look. I walked into a nicely renovated cigar lounge. Was greater promptly by Ryan (the owner) with a friendly "how can I help you?" I let him know that I am a novice cigar smoker and asked for some recommendations. I told him what I had tried and what I liked. He then proceeded to give me some recommendations. There was nice selection to choose from with good prices compared to other shops I have been to. Very fresh selection, clean store, good ownership, and killer prices....like the best in town for sure....specifically, I get charged 30% less at this store than any other store in town for the same purchase, and I'm not getting player prices or anything like that....I'm just some jerk off the street as far as the owner is concerned. Up In Smoke is a most comfortable place to purchase and smoke fine cigars. Rick Craig, the proprietor, is a knowledgable and friendly person to deal with and to sit and discuss football with. Nice people running the place, and they had what I wanted. However, the cigars are pricey. I recommend any number of mail order/Internet sources for box and/or tin purchases especially. Up in Smoke carries some different brands, sizes, and varieties, so it can be a good source for single stick purchases. read more

Pretty good, but some of their cigars are stale, and the place can get smoky. I want to enjoy my cigar, not someone elses! Staff is usually pretty friendly. read more
