We ran across the airport and made it to the Groome desk on time. No one! We called the helpline and she told us the driver had a pickup at another terminal at 8:00am so he left. We were at the desk at that time and the departing time for us was 8:00am. So we're done with Groome. In the past they were a smaller company with consistent timing. Lately not so much. Last word...bye.

Kinda feels like you were on the honor system. Kits of good signage and announcements. Pay stand you will get where you need to go. The train cars were comfortable and clean. Things were not over crowded when we went on this trip. We did ride to the MOA and back to the airport - two samples. The downside....im not that we felt very safe. There were signs expressing the rules. There were signs to call or text if you didn't feel safe. One trip has a presumed homeless person that exposed him self to no one particular. The second trip had a individual that presumably had mental illness as he he talked loudly out loud. His grow a and fits were a bit disturbing. No evidence of any security or Metro employees were seen on either train ride. Would I recommend trying the Metro? Yes. Our ride was only $2 each way. I wouldn't want my wife or daughters to do this alone. Group risk g should be safe for all.

Trains and markings were easy to see and, it was hard not to miss other Twins fans milling around in the area waiting like we were. Took the train about 35 minutes or so to make it in to town and drop us off at Target Field, but we didn't have to look for a place to park, and pay a high price for parking. So, we were both very happy. You couldn't beat the price for the 6-hour pass for seniors ($2.00) and we got a nice ride back to the Mall with our drop off about 100 yards from the car. How sweet is that? Now ... if only the Rays would have won!

Metro transit does a decent job trying to keep the areas clean, considering the amount of litter gathering in a day. The system is efficient on their timing and I appreciated the efforts to make the cars more secure and safe. The train rides were a nice experience until about 2020 when things started to change. That year walking back to a seat some young show-off tried to block my way as his friends laughed. All I could do was walk right past even letting our shoulders bump, yes we have to show no fear sometimes. Another time a passenger screamed at me for no apparent reason saying he didn't want me walking past him. I've seen cars with litter, people smoking and sleeping on folded down seats. Jump to 2022 and problems seem more cleared up with more transit police kicking people off and the system scrubbing urine stains off the floor. There used to be soft cloth seats which had to be replaced with cheap hard sitting plastic.

I like that the bus entrance is easy to find and they have easy signs to follow. They allow ppl to stand however kids cannot (coach style buses and the handle to hold is higher up). I feel like that should have been communicated before having people board the bus agreeing to stand if they have kids. People were asked to give up seats instead of having them wait in line like everyone else had to. They did have puke bags which someone on our bus did get sick (standing). I think at the transit center it was a bit unorganized but the fair side was smooth.

The new station is nice, however they did not construct it in the most efficient way for parking to bus. There are 5 doors from the parking ramp to the bus entrance, so certainly room for opportunity there. There is a light rail stop here that is coming for 2027 so I am eager to see how that performs. I am hoping to see the service return to pre covid as right now there is a bus arriving about every 15 mins during the AM time and 10 years ago there was constant busses before which were amazing. It is nice to be able to just unwind on the bus and read or listen to podcasts or just sit and not have to worry about anything. There are some bus drivers who do need some more training as it is hit or miss on if you got a driver that is slamming on the breaks or one that is a good bus driver.
