I ordered ReliaCar for a family trip over the holidays. On getting picked up at our house to go to the airport our driver was excellent. He was on time, helped us with our bags, and got us to the airport in a timely, safe manner. However upon our return and pick up from the airport was a little different. I texted with the driver as soon as we landed and kept him up to date on our progress getting through the airport and getting our bags. However when we got to the meeting spot he was not there. I had to call him. When he finally picked us up, he apologized, and said he hadn't seen my texts because he was talking to a friend. read more

I texted, then spoke with ReliaCar Transportation to arrange a last-minute request (within 2 hours of the needed ride) to have my parents greeted at baggage claim, then driven home at 1:30am; I am halfway across the country and wanted to arrange this for them since they otherwise were going to try to figure out a lyft/uber arrangement, but that wasn't satisfactory for me. Perfect all around! Booking the ride (from West Bloomington to MSP Airport) on-line was easy and glitch-free. I received an immediate confirmation, and I was informed of our driver's name and cell-phone number. Seyfu Adam, the driver, was quick to respond to my text messages. He arrived at our house at 1:48 AM for a 2:00 AM pickup -- just to make absolutely sure, he said, that he'd be here by the appointed time. (He said he had no other pickups that night, so he must have worked in the middle of the night just for us.) He was very gracious about the cocker spaniel who came with us on the trip. We have been using Reliacar Transportation Airport car service for at least 10+ years and every single time we schedule a ride with them, we have been more than impressed with their excellent drivers, clear scheduling methods, communication and the true RELIABILITY of them arriving on time and getting us to the airport safely and at the time we requested - both arriving and departing. We cannot say enough about the drivers - they are both personable and professional and we just wouldn't use another method of getting to and from the airport- why change when we go with the best??!! We would give them 10 stars if we could!! FYI Seyfu Adam went above and beyond for a family member's ride to the airport after she had experienced medical issues when visiting us here. Not only did he park the car and walk her into the airport, but he got some water for her and sat with her a bit to make sure she was okay. So thankful for ReliaCar for their extremely speedy responses and fantastic service! I was in a last minute pinch for a late night car service pick up from the airport with a car seat! Given the hour we were being picked up, I didn't want to chance it with a Taxi or Uber having a car seat so instantly came to Yelp to research companies that might be able to help with less than 12 hour notice! I used the 'request a quote' option and within minutes had a response with a reasonable quote. Our driver was right on time to pick me and my 4 year old and the car seat was properly installed. Booked a trip to the airport so I didn't have to leave my car down there during the snow and cold of January. Booking process was quick and efficient and they responded very quickly. Driver was on time and we had a smooth trip to the airport. Great car. Good conversation. Will definitely book with them again. Cost for a round trip was about $20 more than leaving my car at the airport. Great Customer Service, Professional, Friendly, Courteous. During the COVID-19 pandemic it soon became impossible to fly my 90 year old Mum back home from Florida to Canada as the Canadian airlines had shutdown all their flights. The only solution was to fly her to MSP airport and find a way to get her to the Canadian border, as the border was closed for me to enter the US to come get her. I had called various ride services in Minneapolis to discuss my situation and did not find any company able to grasp the urgency of our ordeal, but that was until I called ReliaCar. ReliaCar understood the situation and went that extra 'mile' to help coordinate the complexities of arriving at a closed US/Canadian border. The ReliaCar Driver met my Mum at the baggage claim and provided professional, friendly, courteous customer service which helped ease my Mum's travel anxiety. After a safe, five hour highway journey, I rendezvoused with the ReliaCar vehicle at the border. I then took over the next hour of driving her home. Years ago when we commenced using this car service, we were very pleased. Unfortunately, some of their drivers do not take precautions seriously and are not masking. We have had two different drivers in 5 weeks who, once we were loaded up, opted not to mask. We have two immune compromised family members. This is in the middle of the worst surge of COVID to date. After 25 minutes breathing their exhalations, I realized they were not masked and politely asked they do so. Both drivers did upon request, but under the circumstances they should be masked with any passenger. Sadly, we will be looking for a new service. read more

I booked a taxi with ITN to take my wife and I to the airport on a Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. In hindsight I should have booked them for 5:15 as we were going to be cutting it close had the cab been on time. The cab was not. The cab was not there at 5:30, nor did the driver call and let us know he was running late. So after a few minutes we walked down to our garage and began to load up our car. We waited for another minute and then chose to drive ourselves to the airport and park their. The driver called us at 5:36. We were already out of the apartment complex and running behind so we told him we were sorry but that we had to go. If he had only called us we would have gladly waited, but we could not chance missing our flight. I am not writing a poor review because the driver was late...that is poor, but it happens. I am writing this because after I got to the airport I called to talk to the manager or supervisor to let them know that their driver had been late and that we were disappointed that he did not call to give us a heads up. Well apparently our driver was the manager, or at least claimed to be, because he answered the call and proceeded to tear into me for being inconsiderate of him and his time. He claimed to have gotten there at 5:33, and said "you could not wait three minutes for me?!? Three minutes!" I empathized with him and told him I had his call on my phone at 5:36, but either way I wished he would have called to let me know he was running late. Again, I would have gladly waited a few more minutes, but for all I knew he was a no show. His response was, "you didnt call me to find out where I was...you should have called me!" He then went on to tell me how far he had driven to come and get me (25 minutes) and then continued to berate me. At no point did the gentleman admit fault or apologize for being late, which even by his own account he was. I have a problem with that. I tried my best to reason with him and help him see that it is not the customers responsibility to check on the cab company, but the other way around. I eventually hung up on him as he would not stop yelling at me. I am sure there are many happy customers from ITN, and I am sure they are nice people. I do genuinely feel bad for his having driven all that way for nothing. I also admit that I should have allowed for more leeway in booking the taxi as I left little margin for error. But I also feel bad that I had to pay $18 per day to park at the airport because he was not professional or proactive enough to make a phone call. You learn what a business is made of when things go wrong. And when something goes wrong and you try to blame the customer for your mistake while taking ZERO responsibility yourself...that is just bad business practice. read more

We were in a bind. We had an international flight to catch and our ride ditched the last minute. We heard horror stories about reserving cabs for the airport so we decided to splurge a little for this ride. Reserved the night before. The driver came 10 minutes early and helped us get the luggage in the trunk. Our pick up time was 500 am. He rolled up in a black town car with leather seats. We had a good conversation on the way to the airport and he offered us a ride on our return. He just needed our flight number. Very professional. Prompt. Clean vehicle. A number of times we've had very bad experiences. So we tried ReliaCar. The driver was 5 minutes early. He called to tell us he had arrived. The SUV he drove was warm and pleasant.
