Lots of booths with crafts, community information, stage performances mostly geared toward Asian culture. Rides and of course Food. All kinds of dishes, drinks and desserts. We got some Skewers. Lamb, chicken and squid. Yes big squid. Grilled a smothered in some spicy red sauce. So good. Strawberry Uce Tea. Thai tea and ti finish off some soft serve ice cream. Over all a fun gathering in Rancho Cucamonga. Will definitely go again next lunar new year Happy Year of the Horse.

It is mainly an Asian theme because it goes in to detail about all the animals for the year that you're born in. It also has an area of animals and famous landmarks. It even has an LA area with famous places such as the Hollywood Sign, Santa Monica Pier, LAX, Griffith Observatory, and much more. If you take your time and take lots of photos this should be about 1-1.5 hours of walking around and exploring. Don't forget to take lots of pictures!!!

I arrived about thirty-five minutes early as I wanted to make sure there was enough time to find parking, retrieve my tickets, and find my seat. It was also my first time visiting this theatre. Ive made my way to will call to pick up ticket. A lady came out with prepaid tickets; I gave her my last name and she found my ticket right away. I didn't get her name but she was personable and kind. She was also very funny as we laughed a bit before I walked away--there was a big crowd of people that formed a queue behind me. Making my way to the entrance; I handed the lady whom was collecting tickets my ticket and she was very kind. They have a concession area for snacks and beverages. The theatre doors weren't opened just yet as showtime wasn't until 7:29pm, but the doors opened promptly at 7pm. I found my seat H-16 center which was nice and close to stage. The clock struck 7:15pm and the seats starting to fill in more with bodies. The production started right away but before it did there was an announcement that cell phones and beepers (yes beepers) had to be turned off--for everyone to sit back and enjoy the show. The show began and immediately it took me back as I remember growing up when the musical was released. I somehow remembered a few of the words to some of songs and found myself lip singing along: "We're all in this together Once we know That we are We're all stars And we see that We're all in this together And it shows When we stand Hand in hand Make our dreams come true" We are all in this together so let's make the best of life! This was truly an amazing show and all the actors and actresses were phenomenal--keep in mind that this show in particular was put on by the youth. I would like to return for an adult production. Nevertheless, it was a nice trip down memory lane. As I was exiting the theatre I found myself chatting with some people including the manager who was such a darling. I do my very best to always be in good spirits and this definitely added to it by sprinkling positivity all around. I would definitely come again. The only concern would be how hot it gets in the theatre luckily most seats were not taken because it was an afternoon showing so I was able to move to a more comfortable seat and not feel claustrophobic. it was hot in the I.E today and would consider a winter show. I had a great time even with the small snack bar and cheap prices.. also they should carry more craft beer rather then just the typical bud type.

The Asian American Expo is a fantastic way to discover new products; especially food products!…read more This was my second time attending the AAE and as amazing as it was, it wasn't as fun as last year's, which had way more brands and samples (as well as deals). Think, buying products at wholesale prices, without having to buy them in bulk. There were a lot of the usual sponsors, like Toyota that had a wonderful set up; selling merch, giving swag, and having a few display vehicles to wow the patrons. There were also a lot of cultural dances to watch if you wanted to just relax in one place, sit down and watch some drummers drumming or dancers dancing. They were all so beautiful with their make up and outfits! Another note, both years I attended, there was also a simultaneous expo next door called anime impulse. You could walk around on that side too which showcased some neat cars, artisans selling crafts and merchandise, and a whole room full of kpop(Kfest), as well as cosplayers walking around. There was definitely a lot going on and it's definitely worth the 30$ entry ticket and 20$ parking. There were also shuttles (like the ones at Disneyland) taking people to and from their vehicles from the giant parking lot to the venue which was very nice and convenient. A lot of people bring suitcases or wagons to shop without having to keep going to and from their vehicles in the parking lot too often, dropping off goods (it gets heavy and hard to walk around!)

The expo this year was held at the Pomona Fairflex. We arrived around 11:30 am and the entrance already had quite a long line. I took a bit of time to get our parking ticket. Parking is $21 but there's definitely plenty of parking. We chose to park towards the back so it was a bit of a walk but we noticed there's also a mini tram to take for folks who prefer a ride versus walking. Getting through the actual main entrance to the expo was quick and easy. Once in, it's off to a lot of different booths, shows and photo ops! The Asian American Expo was in Hall 4 and it housed a ton of different booths offering Asian food and drinks. One could basically almost find any Asian food or drink that exists. It was that extensive! I saw hot pot broths, lots of noodles, Chinese onion pancakes, pineapple cake, cookies, rolls and so much more. Many of the booths offered free samples. Aside from food and drinks, there were also giveaway booths from different casinos (seemed to be popular thing with a lot of visitors as I saw long lines). There were also some beauty and massage booths. There were also various shows throughout the day. From kung fu dancing to karaoke, the entertainment was a lot of fun! Outside of the hall, there were lots of food booths. They are the booths you typically would see at fairs and night markets. We enjoyed some bbq sticks, Peking duck rolls and boba. On average expect to pay about $15 or more per booth. This year Asian American Expo was at the same time as K-Play K-POP convention and Anime Impulse (more on those events in a future Yelp review). A ticket to the Asian American Expo included entrance to those events too! A day pass ticket was $29.42 or you could purchase a 1 day pass 4 pack for $97.77. The expo ran from 10am to 7pm- plenty of time to get in your share of samples, shows and shopping! Overall I had a fun time at the Asian American Expo and would go again.

Most incredible family affair highlighting the Elf on the Shelf come to life amid twinkling lights,…read moreholiday tunes, and interactive displays to entertain all ages. Ticket times are strict. Lines are long way into the evening. However you can purchase VIP fee add ons which includes a shorter admission line, wrist bands, including hot cocoa and a technique imposing a special photo with Santa. However this Santa offered us to take a real selfie with him. You even help yourself to a candy cane. It begins with kiddies writing letters to Santa then your group passes a spirit meter and proceeds into the dazzling shrinking tunnel. Foot power gets you to many stations of an Elf on the Shelf dressed person juggling, doing gymnastics and more. The atmosphere is so lively and festive. Soon you arrive at an enclosure like a big circus tent with a musical performance of cheery song and dance. As you exit the big tent you line up to board trams without any wait time between trams. It's a Christmasy wonderland ride. They thought of everything/ you must ride through the Unshrinking tunnel to become life size again. Ho Ho Ho!!! When you get off the tram you can ice skate on the rink, purchase hot cocoa and visit the various offerings. But first the kiddies receive something from Mrs. Claus with their very own name on it. If only this came to our Honolulu Stadium parking lot- it is beyond AMAZING!!! Happy holidays!
