Bad experience with this school. No educational programs for kids, kids on their own, teachers on their devices not even looking at kids.

The problems at this school began when the previous head of school, Mr. James, left. Since Mr. James left we have experienced the following: 1. The School LOST our child - On one occasion, our child left her classroom and the school did not know where she was. To make it worse, they never informed us about the incident and had to learn about it from another parent whose child left the classroom with my child. I was told by other parents that this was not a singular event. After the incident, the school (after refusing my request to fire the teacher) agreed to never assign that teacher to supervise my child ever again. This agreement lasted for several months until the school started assigning that teacher to watch my child again. Additionally, when I confronted the head of school about the event, he informed me that he did not tell me about the event because I was pregnant and he did not want to "upset" me. 2. TIME OUTS - My child kept complaining that a particular teacher would separate her from other kids and put her in time outs. The time outs would occur on a chair that was away from other kids. 3. TELLING/MAKING MY DAUGHTER FEEL THAT SHE IS A BAD GIRL - My child told me that a particular teacher tells her that she is a "bad girl". 4. TICKS - The playground is full of ticks. After finding two giant ticks on my child, I informed the school of the problem. They did not respond to my email or treat the playground for ticks. Since then, I have learned that other children have also come home with lots of ticks. 5. DEPOSIT - When I informed the school that I was leaving, the school told me that they would be returning my entire deposit. I believe they did this due to my experience and to deter me from speaking out against them. Well...low and behold, I never received the deposit and when I confronted the school several months after I left, I was told that they never said that they would be returning my money despite me having the emails to prove it. The school's (almost) saving grace are Ms. Puja, Ms. Savi, and Ms. Varshini, who are caring teachers. Unfortunately, the administration's incompetence and carelessness is too much to overcome. If you are interested in a Montessori education, I have heard good things about the Guidepost Lawrenceville location. Just please for your mental health and your children's safety DO NOT enroll them in the Princeton Meadows school.

Not only did the Guidepost Montessori staff accommodate for the needs of the child but they were also very welcoming. It is not always easy having a guest come into your classroom. The teachers at KB are warm and caring and helped to make the daycare transition easier on my wife and I, knowing she was in such good hands. They continue to provide routine and structure (establishing nap time, breaking pacifier habits, ect). They constantly provide physical and intellectual stimulation through songs, music, books, outdoor play, and yoga. Our daughter loves her teachers, greets them with hugs and talks about them at home. The facilities are spotless, and the center director is understanding of our changing schedule and always willing to make accommodations. The flexibility was what set KB apart from all other nearby daycare centers and is one of the main reasons we chose it; we are so happy that we did.

We were in need of a school option for our 3.5 year old when his old school suddenly closed, and decided to give Milestones a try. Within the first two weeks we were already impressed by the growth our son was demonstrating when he came home from school: through the Montessori method, he was becoming more independent in everyday responsibilities like changing clothes and putting away toys, and in general seemed to be getting better at focusing on single tasks for long periods of time. The curriculum for learning to read and write is also very sophisticated, and we've watched his reading and writing skills grow very quickly. The school director Ms Saritha has been very easy to communicate with and her observations about our son's strengths and growth areas have been spot-on. She really knows what she's doing when it comes to running a Montessori program, including its focus on individual students' choice, growth, and responsibility, and its well-designed way of introducing young children to reading, math, geography, and so on. Because "Montessori" is not a trademarked term, any school can claim to use it but in reality there's a lot of variation in what they're really doing. Milestones's program is well-run and true to the Montessori approach, and we've seen the benefits for our son. In addition, Milestones is more affordable than a lot of other local options. We live just outside the Princeton area where school programs are quite pricey. With Milestones I feel we've gotten the best kind of educational program we could ask for, and also at a lower price, simply because it's not a large center and because it's located in Dayton rather a different zip code. Overall - I'd highly recommend going to check out Milestones if you're in search of a high-quality school program, with a warm environment, and with very reasonable tuition costs.

She learned many different skills- academically, socially and emotionally. The teachers are wonderful to say the least, as they truly care about every child. Each teacher tends to every child individually, in an appropriate academic setting and in a manner that meets the child's emotional and social needs. My daughter grew and blossomed with every day she attended and every year that passed. I truly believe in my heart, that who she is today, stems from the years she attended this school. It is a warm and nurturing environment with the appropriate age required academic structure that parallels with an environment of warmth and kindness. An atmosphere, like the one at this Montessori School, is an intricate, impressionable and most important part of the young years of our child's youth. The time spent as young toddlers mean so much as to who they become growing into adolescents and young adults and Windsor Montessori does an excellent job at preparing our children for an amazing future. Ms. Yasmín has done an astounding job with this school, the curriculum, the teaching of self awareness; including patience and self intrigued academic skills and the necessity of learning how to play and be okay with ones self. I still and will always recommend this Montessori School to anyone I come across with a child in their pre-k years. I couldn't be happier with the decision of having my daughter attend this school. Her years there influenced, formed and created the wonderful, amazing, academically excelling child I have now (as a third grader). So, in turn, I'd like to place a very special, warm-hearted thank you to all of the teachers. And a deeply rooted, heart felt thank you to Ms Yasmín. You have indefinitely made your mark on my daughter still to this day! Always, Sasha L-P

In addition to taking care of my son, she also put a lot of thoughts to his developments, trying to help him engaging more in various activities, and teaching him a lot of different things. We are so grateful for her. There is a lot of helpful communication and feedback during pick up time, and during the meetings with parents a few times a year. All other teachers are also great. For the past 4 years, my son has been fortunate enough to call Bright Horizons "home." We began our first daycare experience at the center when he was just 17 months old, and today was his very last day of Kindergarten Prep. Throughout the years, the staff at Carnegie have loved my son through some of the most difficult periods of our lives. Bright Horizons is not just a "drop and go" daycare; teachers care profoundly about the children at the center and their families. It is serendipitous that Ms. Karyn, who was my child's first teacher at BH, also turned out to be his graduating teacher in KP. She has been warm, flexible, and supportive through deep personal hurts, such as when my son's father and I navigated through a very messy divorce. (I was extremely touched by the way Ms. Karyn approached sensitive holidays like Father's Day, even going above and beyond to help my son make 2 projects-- one for his dad, who was predominantly absent from his life at the time, and one for his grandpa). She was also hands-on and supportive after we received my son's ASD diagnosis, and worked earnestly with his BCBA-D to support him. Ms. Karyn knows each of her students intently and is always going above and beyond to plan engaging curriculum that will "hook" them. Her classroom is a place of creativity and inquiry, where students are always learning and developing a love of learning, too. As I turned the pages in his KP book, I couldn't help but cry seeing all the love that Ms. Karyn had poured into my child-- even on days when it was so hard to love him. Ms. Barbara, the center's chef, has ensured my child's safety at school from Day 1. My son has severe food allergies and center staff have in place strict preventative measures and an Allergy Action plan that have kept him safe for the entire time that he has been enrolled at BH. Leadership is always transparent and responsive. When we first started at the center, Jen Albright and Tracey Pennington created an amazing culture of partnership between Bright Horizons families. Diane DeYoung and Courtney Hollosi have continued to build on their strong foundation, with Kelli Mueller also playing a large part in connecting with families. Finally, we cannot express enough gratitude to the other teachers who have loved my son as he have moved up throughout the years-- Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Charlene, and Ms. Jessica. I wish all of the staff at Bright Horizons my very best, and cannot express enough love and gratitude for the years of happiness that you have given my child. As we continue on our journey to Kindergarten, we will cherish the years at Carnegie and never forget the profound impact you have made on our lives.
