I was really impressed with the quality and affordability of Lightcraft's lights as well as the professionalism and friendliness of their staff! I'm a first-time homeowner and my father is a landscape architect. He designed a landscape for us, but the lights he suggested were really expensive. Lightcraft didn't have some of the really fancy bells and whistles of the other brand (remote control from an app, multiple colors) but their lights are quality LEDs with solid brass. To save money, our contractor let us get our own lighting materials, so I contacted Lightcraft directly. They were extremely patient with all of my first-timer questions about how the lighting worked, was priced, etc. - and even took a look at the lights we were planning to order from the more expensive company and suggested which lights of theirs were comparable. Replaced all my old LoVo incandescent bulbs with new LEDs. I had put the change off for a while because I thought all LEDs were bright white and I didn't want that. My salesperson set me up with warm 2700k LEDs that give me the warm color (yellowish) that I like and they use a fraction of the power. Yes! Helpful salespeople and competitive pricing. I am a design build landscape designer and have worked with many lighting companies over the years. When I found Lightcraft Outdoor, I was extremely impressed with their customer service and product knowledge. I first tested their products on a few jobs and was immediately sold. The quality and price points are very reasonable for solid brass materials. The LEDs are beautifully made and provide an exceptional light output. Also, the company typically ships me same day or within 24 hours. They also packaged my job in a way that made it easy for my crew to plan and install. I wanted LED landscape lighting for energy efficiency and reliability. After talking to someone at Lightcraft my landscape designer recommended them for most of the fixtures though she had no actual experience with them. I also selected some Kichler fixtures because I liked the design. Now I have experience with both and here's what I can report: The Lightcraft LED bulbs have a high failure rate. Six burned out within the first 6 months and were replaced under warranty. LED lights are supposed to last a couple of decades but two more bulbs have failed since and they are not covered under their very short (1 year?) warranty. All the black bullet shaped housings are faded and chalky looking. I called Lightcraft and was told that they manufacture their own bulbs and others might not fit. Of course nothing was under warranty. By comparison, not one of the Kichler fixtures has failed. Their products have a 15 year warranty and two of their pathway got knocked over and broken but Kichler replaced them AT NO CHARGE. The finish still looks like new on every one of them. So Lightcraft may have good sales people but their outdoor lights are a huge disappointment. Check the warranty before you buy and, if possible, check with people who have had theirs for a few years. I would definitely not buy Lightcraft again. read more

I cannot tell you how pleased we are with the lanterns made for us by Lightcraft Outdoor Environments and the personal attention we got from their customer service team. When we decided that two of the lanterns were not the correct size for our posts by the garage Bruce personally came to discuss it with us. He agreed to make larger replacements. Very few companies offer that kind of personal care and attention to detail needless to say their product is also first rate. It is therefore that we highly recommend Lightcraft Outdoor Environments to anyone looking for custom made lights or anything from their extensive catalog.
